Family owned/operated and delicious wines — what more could you want? I fell in love with their $ 6 bottle of Allure sold exclusively at Trader Joe’s and was so excited to visit the actual winery on a recent trip to the central coast. Their tasting offers up to 11 samples at $ 10, which is waived if you purchase $ 50 of merchandise(easy to do). Shout out to Brice who did our tasting — we had a great time chatting with him about wine and the local area. We learned he’s marrying into the Rabbit Ridge family next year — you guys are lucky to have him, he definitely knows his stuff! Step away from the heat of Paso summer and step into their cellar temp. tasting room for a relaxed, informative, delicious wine collection and tasting experience.

I’ve been a wine club member since 2004 and their wines keep getting better. My wife and I don’t get many opportunities to visit, but when we do, they go out of their way to make us feel a part of their special family. Cheers!

Went for the pickup party this weekend. Members get a wide variety of free food which included sausages from Cauycos Sausages which were just excellent and then Maria’s homemade tamales. We have been wine club members since 2009 and the Rabbit Ridge Winery has brought us into their family. We love Joanne and Erich and now Sarah(Joanne’s daughter) and Brice(Sarah’s fiancé) are there and more involved with the winery). If you want to pay five times more for wine that will pale in comparison to some of their wines such as the Olé which came out last year or the Allure Reserve then by all means go ahead and do so. I personally would rather enjoy a truly spectacular wine that I didn’t have to sell a kidney to purchase. If you have a chance go to San Miguel(around 7 minutes north of Paso Robles) visit the Rabbit Ridge winery and see the immense barrels they have for the wines they sell to Trader Joes. If you want to try first go buy a Trader Joes and get an Allure de Robles for less that $ 6 and open it and you will see why you should go to the winery on the next visit. I absolutely adore Joanne and her family and wish I could spend more than just the brief visits with her talking and laughing over a glass of some of the best wine in Paso Robles area.

Nice, relaxed people with several good value wines, mostly priced between $ 8 to $ 24. I liked their dry whites and the cab. The tasting room is in a yellow stone mansion with very high ceilings.

My husband and I have been coming here for close to 5 years now! We absolutely love the tasting room, the staff, and the owners. This is a must if you are in the area!

Rabbit Ridge Winery was a phenomenal experience! The building is picturesque with beautiful roses & lovely landscaping. When you step inside the tasting room there is a basket of bunny ears that you can put on if you are so inclined! My sister & I thought they were fun! The wine«tender», Julie, was friendly& helpful. We enjoyed talking with her while we were there. Of course the best part was their wine! We tasted several reds, but their zins were the best. My favorite was their Estate Zinfindel, so delicious! I highly recommend trying Rabbit Ridge if you are in the Paso Robles area or staying at Lake Nacimiento. I will definitely be coming back again.

I’ve had a lot of wine in my time, worked in the wine business, was at one time married to the winemaker of a well known Sonoma County winery, and Rabbit Ridge is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. I first found a bottle of their Zin at a KTA market in Kona when I lived there. This was years ago, and I was hooked from then on. Belong to the wine club and have been so lucky to drink so many of their wines — my favorites being the unctuous and exciting reds. I’d rather drink one of their wines than any other. And no, I’m not a personal friend or relative!

Love Rabbit Ridge! Their wines are really good & Joanne, Erich, and everyone who works here is great. If you only know their wines from Trader Joes, check them out! One thing that sets them apart from other wineries is that they make a wide variety of wines, with price points from everyday wines to more complex, big wines. So if you’re looking for a nice wine for your summer parties, or something for a special dinner, you’ll find them here. We’ve been wine club members for quite a while now. Highly recommend you visit Rabbit Ridge!

I like consistency, and I always will find it at Rabbit Ridge. This past weekend was my second visit to Rabbit Ridge and what can I say, it is solid and consistent. We arrived shortly before 11am, and were warmly greeted. On our heels were two couples, both wine club members who were super amped about picking up their wine. The lady serving us was very kind, warm and friendly. Tasting fee is a mere $ 5.00 and you get to keep the glass. My friend and I were sharing a tasting and she was kind enough to give us an extra glass to take home, so «we wouldn’t have to fight over it.» :-) I was sad to hear that they were sold out of their Primitivo, which I had bought the previous year, but soon found that the O.V.Z. that I also enjoyed was available, so I bought a bottle. My friend bought their Sangiovese. Great wine at a great price. Definitely worth a stop.

If you only have time to visit one Vineyard in Paso Robles then this is the one. Rabbit Ridge probably have the largest selection of sample wines around the area(and they are all their own). No pressure to buy anything from their friendly staff and some delicious wines at very reasonable prices.

Well I gotta hand it to the staff at Rabbit Ridge, They went above and beyond to make the wine tasting experience way fun! You first see Rabbit Ridge on the sie of the San Marcos county road… very large, a big building that really stands out, walking into the wine tasting room is a bit different than what you would expect… i think haha. Tasting room is a big ass bar right in front of all the barrels of wine. There was a nice crew of people already there tasting and a couple of them had bunny ears on that apparantly Rabbit Ridge supplies, so ya i can say there were a few drinks downed before i donned one. Lets get to the real shit though… The wine was amazing, staff knowledgable with a great sense of humor and really interacted with everyone without being overbearing about wine. I will be back here again for more wine and fun.

While the LPR wine(commonly known as Liquid Panty Remover) and the Olive Oil are pretttty much out of this world… I HAD to give them three stars, at best. The tasting room was small, not personal, stuffy and the staff was– well, let’s just say patronizing. My husband and I had never been wine tasting before and this was our first stop in Paso Robles. So, to say we didn’t know much would be right on point. The first few staff members(heavier set women) were rather unhelpful and unwelcoming. The wine samples were VERY limited, especially since I prefer white. Upon actually snagging a chair 25 minutes in– we ended up being hosted by a very pleasant brunette woman who had just started the day before. We ended up buying a case of Chardonnay, some Olive Oil, and 4 other bottles(priced at $ 30 a pop). When we went to check out, the woman in charge(from the beginning) told us that needed to pay a tasting fee. My husband inquired further and the woman snipped back that we had to spend at least $ 100 to waive the fee. In unison, WE snipped back that we just payed over $ 200 that day– I had to bite my tongue. After our purchase, we spoke with a nice gentleman that seemed to be the owner– he was very sweet and down to Earth. By far the worst experience we had in Paso Robles– but thank goodness I hear you can buy their Olive Oil at Trader Joe’s. Thanks for making us feel like uneducated children Rabbit Ridge, I hope you take a good look at the staff and this knocks some of them off their pedestals.

I am so grateful my MIL brought Allure for the holidays & that TJ had some left to help me fall in love with Rabbit Ridge wines. I’ve never felt the need to join a wine club but as soon as I saw they had allure for their members it was a no brainer! Joanne was amazing to interact with. The enrollment was super easy and the wine arrived promptly. Of course knowing I love Allure we had to open the Reserve version & we are in wine heaven! Perfect for our filet dinner. Can’t wait to visit the winery & meet you all! If you are ready for a bold wine that isn’t overly sweet, must try Allure!

We’ve been wine club members here almost 10 years. We call it the«K-Mart of wineries», but that’s not a bad thing. You can get just about any level of wine here. From very low end, what I call«Monday thru Friday» wines that you don’t want to spend a lot of money on, yet should be worthwhile enough to drink with my awesome cooking, to higher end reserve sirahs or Rhone blends. There are too many wines in their selection to name. We are very lucky in Paso Robles to have this winery, it’s a hidden gem where you can jump in the car and run to on a Friday afternoon to pick up a case to last you all weekend for what you would pay for one bottle.

Our first winery of the day was Rabbit Ridge. It wasn’t our original destination winery, that was further down the road. I’ve bought bottles of Rabbit Ridge in Trader Joe’s before and always had good luck with it so I figured since we were driving by why not check in. Absolutely worth the stop. They specialize in Zins and had about thirteen bottles open for tasting with very little concern if you stuck to the six or seven on the menu. The tasting room is actually in the barrel room which for some reason I always find very cool. The owner(or perhaps co-owner), a very nice woman, was doing the pouring and had some pretty long arms. Great wines at very reasonable prices. I’d highly recommend this place. We were lucky enough to grab a case of their 3Clusters Syrah at a Black Friday sale price of 100.00(normally 400!). Found out about them from a bottle I purchased @ trader joes. They are a great deal at tjs and had to make a visit out to see the winery. It is off the beaten Paso wine path, which I liked. They have alot of wines on their pour list, Like 20 or 30. I am into Chardonnay(preferably an oaky, dry, buttery) Chard and they had it… for $ 8 bucks a bottle. It was half oak and half stainless which created a very happy chard for me. Their reds were outstanding for the price. Enjoyed the Zin, Sangiovese, Rhone De Robles Reserve, Primotivo was my favorite. I think this winery is one that everyone should make a stop for. Everyone should have Rabbit Ridge on their wine shelf. The price is just right for anyone. It ranges from low low to higher. The tasting room is medioeker however they are a working winery so they really don’t cater to tourists like all of the other wineries do. Thank You rabbit ridge owners for getting your wine into Tj’s, unfortunatly I would have never found and enjoyed your fabulous wine. I am telling all of our friends and family to get on out to visit the Ridge.

Wow… what pleasant surprise! Went here because my dad liked their wine at Trader joes and he couldn’t find it anymore. He asked if we could find this winery when he visited recently. I was blown away! Julia, our wine pourer, was amazing! She was knowledgeable, funny, and very personable! She really made our experience at Rabbit Ridge! It was a beautiful place and the wine speaks for itself! Extremely affordable and delicious! It was a no brainer to join the wine club. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Julia and Rabbit Ridge for an outstanding experience. Loved every minute!

I’m sure there are a lot of great wineries in the Paso Robles area, but we prefer Rabbit Ridge. We bought our first bottle from a local grocery store in Sacramento, Nugget Market. They were having a sale on Rabbit Ridge’s Allure de Robles and my husband was hooked! We made a detour out to Rabbit Ridge since it was on our way home from our honeymoon. We didn’t plan to go wine tasting, but the thrill knowing our favorite wine was so close just screamed fun! The drive there was interesting. We weren’t sure if our GPS was taking us to the right place. It led us onto a long dirt road, but we found out later, there is also a paved road that leads up to the winery in the other direction. We were greeted by Julee who was very sweet and knowledgeable. We sampled several wines in the cutest wine glass I’ve ever seen! What I loved was how generous they were with the wines. A lot of places will let you taste up to three wines and then you pay for the rest. There was a $ 5.00 charge for the very cute Rabbit Ridge glass which came with the tasting, or the $ 10.00 stemless wine glass also very cute. Our favorites are Allure de Robles and Bunny Cuvee. If we wanted to re-sample another wine, she didn’t hesitate to pour. The wine tasting room is part of their warehouse. They had a large variety of wine for tasting. They also offer extra virgin olive oil, but when we went there ran out of crackers which we didn’t mind since we were there to taste the wines. If you join the wine club you do get some really great deals. This wine is delicious, but I’m no wine connoisseur so you’ll have to try it out yourself. We ended up joining the wine club and buying a case of Bunny Cuvee and receiving our wines for joining the wine club. Can’t wait to get our shipment coming out in October.
