Awesome ice cream! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Cones are made on site and so is the ice cream! Great place to visit!

Our kids get absolutely spoiled in this place. Their ice cream is super yummy. They have shark week, which is kind of like sweet cream, but better. We always want to come back for more.

The bathroom is disgusting. Seriously a Burger King off 101 had a cleaner restroom. Ice cream is ice cream. Clean your toilet!

I’ve been here twice in the last few months and both time disappointed in the staff. Ice cream is always good, hard to screw it up but staff both times were two young teens, no issue there I’m all for working kids, but no smile, no greeting and the young girl had her shirt tied up to show skin, not necessary. Then I order a love it size, get a like it made, staff realized it so he just topped off my mixed up ice cream with extra vanilla instead of remixing it all so the raspberries and choc were all mixed. Just careless I guess.

Husband and I came here for dessert after a disappointing dinner, we got the Germanchokalatekake. It was very tasty, but holy wow their prices are becoming outrageous! We could never afford to bring the kids here. Guess we’ll have to stick with frozen yogurt.

Super disappointing. I’m familiar with the quality of cold stones, and hey are amazing. However, tonight was quite disappointing. Walked into the store to purchase two large milk shakes and a 48oz tub of ice cream. I attempted to pay with a new $ 100 bill. Was informed that they will not accept $ 100 bills. Suggested I go from business to business in the area to try and break it. I cancelled what I ordered. Isn’t it illegal to deny United States legal tender?

What can I say, I’m a Coldstone sucker :-) The ice cream is always great, and the staff at this particular location is very friendly and funny. Their tip jars have inventive names like«Carla’s College Fund» and«Jason’s Job Search Fund».

We love Cold Stone Paso Robles! My kids and I pass through all the time and can’t wait to visit. Owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and we love their selection of flavors and even CUPCAKES! Yum.

If you’ve been to other Cold Stones, you know what to expect. This one is as good as any other I’ve visited. If you’ve never tried one, I recommend you do. Be creative, or choose one of the combos on their wall. It is pricey, but a nice treat now and again.

we came into the store around 9:10 pm and there were several customers in the store. When we came up to the counter we were informed they just closed. I asked why the door was still open and the young woman stated so the customers can leave when they are finished. I asked if we could get some ice cream and she gave us an excuse that she was just about to start cleaning the stone and getting ready to close. I gave her another chance and asked if she was sure she couldn’t just get us a few scoops and we didin’t need the stone. NOWEARECLOSED was the the answer. We walked out befuddled and the other customers were shocked how flat out unhospitable and rude she was. Just as we were leaving and muttering what just happened we came accrow the owner also walking into the store. He offered to buy us some ice cream and we said thanks but no thanks the dmage was done and your employee needs some training and manners. As we were driiving away we noticed thwey wee having a chat behind the counter. We will not go back… yo many other places with nice people and business to be given.

I love this ice cream shop. Founders Favorite, no nuts, please. =0) Mike, the owner, helped me pick out this combination, based on what I love in ice cream. He was right on with his suggestion. I have always found the employees welcoming and helpful. Stop by and give them a try. Tell them Shanay sent you.

The strawberry blonde made here was disgustingly sweet. I felt like I needed to swallow a spoonful of salt after each bite. I didn’t want to waste it so I just finished it. Unfortunately, the extreme sweetness overpowered the actual strawberry flavor. I’m not too crazy about cold stone in general…

Overpriced. Not as interesting a concept as they think it is. Gimmicky. And the owners are mean-spirited. Saw them berating one of their workers on the floor. They got a great location in Paso otherwise the place would be closed just like their Atascadero store. If you need to pick your toppings, save your money and go to Bali’s in Slo or any of the yogurt creations chain.

Cold Stone’s are becoming few and far between. Are you would expect the service was great and the ice cream delightful.

I give the cold stone ice cream itself a 3, the employees a 4.5 and the owners a two. Ice cream way too sweet and pricey. The employees are great, always friendly and fast… the owners are, how can I say this? RUDE! There’s a sign on the bathroom the says«current customers only», come on, seriously? They might be nice to their customers for the moment but I’ve seen the guy Mike ask people to leave their seats out front when they’re done with their ice cream.

The Owner is Mike Talen. If you want a treat that will make your tongue melt, you need to visit Cold Stone Creamery in downtown Paso Robles. What great service, and what a variety of choices to choose from. You will love it
