«Terrible service. They installed the garage door initially on the new vacation house a little over 2 years ago. Last weekend we tried to open the door and it popped and fell to the ground partially out of the tracks. While looking over the damage I noticed that the lag bolts they originally used to install the spring brace were barely through the drywall with only ½″ to ¾″ penetration into the wood. After we secured the door we called Brads Overhead Door. They said that they would send someone out the next day. We waited all day for the service guy to show up and he never did. No call. We waited till the next day to call back to reschedule. They agreed to come out today between 12:00 and 2:00. He was late. He didn’t show up till 3:30. Didn’t bother to call and it was the owner Brad himself. Will never use them again. »

I had an emergency need for garage door repair. My door was broken in the UP position. Brad’s send an nice young man to my house first thing in the morning who fixed is in a jiffy. The price was reasonable.
He told me my garage door was showing wear and would need replacement pretty soon; so now I know what to look for. I have an idea what it will cost, so I won’t be surprised when the time comes. I would definitely use Brad’s Overhead Doors again!

Once again stellar service from Brad’s Overhead Door’s. I have experienced great service from Brad in the past when he came and quickly and efficiently fixed my garage door. Yesterday the spring broke at my parents house. He came personally at 7 o’clock at night and replaced the springs and tightened the bolts on my parents garage and he charged me less than the quoted price because he arrived late. This was unnecessary, I didn’t even have an appointment as it was a last minute emergency. I couldn’t lift the door and he didn’t want me to be stuck overnight! I’m very impressed I would not hesitate to call Brad for future needs.

Never had worse service! Would not use this company again. After adjustment on door, and $ 85 worked 4 days. Called back and given a time for return visit with specific time and did not show up on four different times. Fifth time came and adjusted door but was told I probably needed to purchase a new opener. It has worked for the last two weeks. Service very un-​professional!

We called Brads out because we had a broken spring on our garage door. They were so nice, and promptly showed up within 20 min of our call. A guy named Damian showed up, he was very professional and had the job done within 45 min. Great local company, would recommend to anyone!

I was very impressed with Chris, he was able to fix an issue with my garage door that I have been dealing with for some time now. He was on time and very professional, most importantly didn’t try to nickel and dime me. I will recommend Brads overhead door company to anyone who wants a great experience and a reliable company!

Is there less than 1 star? I called this company to have my garage door repaired which is what they do right? Wrong! I was told, by the owner, that someone would come by and service my door. A week later nothing. When I called to check in about my service call the owner had «forgotten». I called Hammond’s, they told me they would be out that afternoon. When I called Brad’s back, I told them to cancel the job. I was yelled at, and hung up on by THE OWNER — BRAD! Please! I have never experienced such horrible, horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away. There are places, like Hammond, who actually want your business, give it to them. This is the most unprofessional business I have encountered on The Central Coast.
