I hate to mention this place because I want it ALL to myself. This little gem of a thrift store will forever keep me coming back. Queen and her husband T are lovely and treat you like you just arrived home. Also, did I forget to mention their merchandise? It’s one of a kind vintage — toys, glassware, jewelry, furniture, clothing all packed in this little store. You have to walk slowly around the store a few times, and look from the ceiling to the floor — closely, at everything because they are overflowing with merchandise. The prices are low and you get a big bang out of your bucks. No more Goodwill and Sal Army for me. If they had this stuff, they would OVERPRICE it as they usually do. This is a fun place to shop for treasures!

As a traditional thrift store, this isn’t for you. This is for hard to find antiques and quality finds like an estate sale. Great furniture and if you need older electronics, this is the place. Family owned, Queen and Todd are great people. Love this place

Talk about shady business and poor customer service! I would not recommend buying electronics or appliances from this place. The owner said that he tests out all of the electronics before selling and that if there was an issue I could take the item back for a full refund. The item I purchased did not work so, as he said I took it back to return. When I got there, he would only offer me store credit and went into this whole store policy — which was NOT what he had told me would happened when I purchased the item. He talked over me, would not listen to me, and was flat out rude. He also would not test the item out in front of me! Hmmm, wonder why… because you’re business is a scam, you lie to your customers, and you sell items that do not function? Yikes, why would I want the store credit? Why would I want to support this sort of a business? What a joke. Don’t shop here!

Very small, full, junk store. I felt the prices were high for most of the items, and apparently they had just picked up a large elephant collection from someone, as half of the stuff there was elephant stuff. Lots of salt and pepper shakers. Like seriously, a lot. There were some cool science/shell collections, but they were going for about $ 25 for a box with 3 shells. I only picked up a teeny tiny set of s&p shakers for $ 4. Couldn’t find many other special items.

This place is tiny and cluttered but it makes finding the treasure all the more fun! I came across and fell in love with the most graceful little cat sculpture which I got for a steal at the low low price of $ 1 and also a rather elegant little pewter dish for $ 2, which now serves as the display for my little seashell collection in the bathroom. Will definitely be back! By the way, Google Maps tried to play a trick on me and lead me through a back alley, but just stay on Fair Oaks Ave and you’ll find it! It will be the one with furniture out front. We found parking a little ways down on the street.

u will find it difficult and maybe even dangerous to get around in this small crowded shop. But the prices were good, I got 3 little treasures for a buck each and the owners are super friendly.

Every beautiful artifact she holds perfectly positioned to entice me into discovering it’s amazingness… the ancient, ancient secrets of the ancients-MINE. 35 mm slides of the fabled Gooney Bird. All mine… T-Queen Thrift Store is my precious treasure and yes– it has to be shared.

I would normally keep a place like this secret, but this is too good. When I walked in today for the first time, I instantly fell in love! There’s nothing not to love about this place. The selection is bananas in this small space. The owners are absolutely lovely, prices beyond fair, this is my new favorite antique shop! An absolute do-not-miss.

I love this place, I’ve been wanting to go check them out but they close at 4pm that I never get a chance during the week. I was finally able to go check it out yesterday on my day off. It’s a small mom and pop cross between a thrift store and antique shop as other Unilocalers have mentioned. They had everything from clothing, to jewelry to dishes. I found an old trunk under a table for $ 5, it isn’t old sterner trunk, it looks like someone made it to look like one and sprayed it 70s solid gold. The owner was super sweet, even helped me put the trunk in my car. The gem is now painted red and my new laptop table. I also got some pearls for my Gatsby party $ 2 each and some earrings. I will definitely be back to see what other gems I find.

Super sweet owners. I didn’t know people this friendly and kind existed. I found a lovely bookcase here and got free delivery to boot. The place is packed with stuff. I would go back just to say hi to T and Queen.

This place rules. Small but packs a punch, and the owners are sweet as PIE. I left with a cozy oversize sweater, chunky necklace and rad vintage purse for $ 5 — ALLTOGETHER!

Amazingly low prices(trays for $ 2, lamps for 4 – 5) and exceptionally friendly owners. A fantastic collection — vintage clothes, ridiculously affordable furniture(at least in the SGV area… it’s way better than anything I’ve found at Goodwill or ACTS), and creepy circus figurines adorning an entire shelf. Magical.

I have been a customer from when they first opened their doors 17 or 18 years ago. I tell you, I have found the most beautiful treasures that I continue to cherish and enjoy! I also agree with everyone else…, the prices are unbelievably amazing!!! I got a mission style antique rocker. $ 40! HUGE antique mirror that is absolutely amazing… $ 75! Antique tiger oak dresser, $ 65 and great trinkets. OMG, that’s to just name a few things. You can imagine what I have collected from T-Queen in 17 years. But the thing I most love about it and will continue to always go… the customer service! Both the owners(husband and wife team) are the best people that give that good olé fashion customer service you don’t see anymore. They are the kindest most accommodating business owners I have seen in a long time. Reminds us people that really knew about«Mom & Pop» types of businesses. They get to know their customers(by name), and always greet you with a smile and they sincerely appreciate your business. If you love antiques and good people, PLEASE go by their store!!! It has a lot of stuff in there, so for us treasure hunters, it’s a great playground for us!!!

It’s a small store with no parking lot so it’s kind of easy to miss, but I think it’s a worthwhile stop for thrift store shoppers. The store is completely packed with items so you have to be a bit careful how you move around in it. They definitely have a lot of inventory and I was thankfully able to find some items that I was looking for. And the prices are amazing! I was able to buy three china teacups(two with their own saucers) plus a covered sugar bowl for $ 5 total. I was very pleased with my purchase. The owners of this place are really nice and friendly. Actually, the entire family is friendly. Their son and daughter were outside when I was there and they both welcomed me as I was about to walk in and they also thanked me when I left. I was talking with the wife(Queen) while she was wrapping up my purchases and telling her about how this place was well-reviewed on Unilocal and she was very happy to hear that. She said other visitors had told her the same thing, but as she doesn’t have a laptop she’s unable to read the reviews or add any information or pictures to the Unilocal page. Overall it was a good experience and I’m glad I came here today.

I LOVETHISPLACE! It’s that perfect cross between a thrift store and an antique store. The owners have an eye for awesomeness, and because of this there are so many good finds in this store. Due to the endless(and high) stacks of furniture, I might not want to be here during an earthquake. :) But any other time, it makes for an hour of two of great treasure-hunting! Oh, and the prices are awesome!

My husband and i went to T-Queens today, since were newlyweds we didn’t have a lot of cash to spend, after going to two other thrift stores we stopped at T-Queens. It is a lil store on a busy street so we missed it driving by but finally we found it and walked and was greeted by a lil boy and man who i later discovered was T and then Queen his wife. They were super nice they did not pressure us to buy anything they let us browse and thats when we found what we were looking for, a dresser! I like the whole antique vintage look to furniture and the dresser had that look and was actually from the 1920’s era and it was only $ 75 which was great. Queen was telling us that they have been in business for a while so they know what they are talking about when it comes to antique stuff. i saw a lot of lamps, antique lamp shades, jewlery and accessories, they did actually have a large sofa and chair too. Don’t expect a huge mega thrift store cuz it’s not Its a small place but they do have a lot of original stuff and my husband and i will defintely be going back! If you hate thrift stores that are stuck in the 1980’s furniture and décor then i really recommend T-Queens.

Hi Ive been secretly going to T-Queens since 2005 for insanely good deals on vintage/antique jewelry, furniture & paintings… I dont know how they get this stuff but they have connections galore within Pasadena and Altadena and they scoop up large estates. The great thing is, they are smart and they dont want stuff to sit so they will blow stuff out so fast it’ll make your head spin, Example vintage painting of a Dutch seascape 5 ft wide($ 20.00) yes you heard me $ 20… Vintage Xmas plates 6 of them gorgeous $ 5. A $ 90.00 dollar fireplace screen $ 12.00 yup you heard me. no B.S. its the real deal. Now I NEVER go to the huge overpriced antique stores to pay $ 40. for an old ashtray. I take my business to T Queens!!! ps T = is the husband and Queen is the wife. They are sweet as sweet as pie!
