They made me pay for a parking when they were almost closing and didnt tell me about it. Then ordered and didn’t let me eat inside with out advide they were closed when ordering. Very rude customer service first time here and the last time!!!

The is by far the worst subway I’ve been to. The staff is horrible, no smiles or welcome, they complain about what the customers ask for, and the food is subpar by any standards. Bread was dried out and was toasted until the bread was burnt.

This place is great, staff is nice and the food is delicious I’m probably thinking about going to this place again and it’s clean! the worst part of this subway is the music it could be better… the Adele song HELLOITSME greeted us could be better the only thing is every time the door opens wind blows hard and napkins fall everywhere so I’m giving it a 3 star. which is ok

Paying customers not permitted to use the restrooms. Rewards card didn’t work. That’s just poor management. Thankfully they let us sit down and eat our food.

I generally have good experiences when visiting subway locations, but this one is by far the worst! The reason is simple… the staff is horrible: –staff literally have non-work related conversations with each other while making customer sandwiches. Super frustrating and unprofessional. –burnt my cheese(it was brown! this has never happened to me at any other subway) and didn’t care to acknowledge it or offer to make another one –the minute i paid for my sandwich and got my cc back, the cashier starts to text on her phone. I stood there for a few seconds because I wasn’t sure if i was all paid for… was waiting for her to hand me my sandwich or receipt or a say thanks or do SOMETHING to let me know the transaction was finished, but she ignores me and continues to keep texting so I just reached over to grab my food. –slapping on the veggies in a I don’t give a crap way=messy sandwich for customer –attitudes.they clearly don’t care I only come here because it’s close to work and each time I leave I wish I spent my money somewhere else. Seriously it’s pretty bad.

The weird wall cut-out when ordering is pretty uncomfortable. It’s hard for people to squeeze in back there and not seem creepy. The seating us usually pretty clean and the tables outside are nice for cooler days. Lines get pretty long at lunch time, but I’ll be back again.

I give props to this location — the bread and veggies are always fresh, the place is clean, and the staff is friendly and quick. What more can you ask for? I work in Old Town and eat here 4 or 5 times a month, so I pay attention.

Service is good; food is Subway. In my experience, this site doesn’t get as much business as others, which is a good thing for me — shorter lines. The same guy begging for money continues to be out in front. Sandwiches are Subway — reasonably good; you can add plenty of greens and other veggies. The chocolate chip cookies are fairly good; better than I expected. The«new» gingerbread cookie is not so good: not much ginger and lots of sugar.

The best in town. Staff is always helpful and Cindy is the best. The owner, Reza is my neighbor and he is awesome! I had been dining here years before we became acquainted. He once treated my office staff to lunch from subway and had it delivered. He is a Class Act and his establishment reflects that.

I only eat here because it is close to my office. Service sucks. Get attitude almost every time. Staff is not well trained.

The location is nice, the layout is decent enough, and the quality of the food is fairly standard for a Subway. The biggest issue I have with this particular Subway is the service, which over the years has been very hit-or-miss. The last few times I have been here have been unpleasant experiences due to(most of) the people working here. One of the employees was alright, though not great by any means. Others were either seemingly angry or absolutely care-free. Luckily, I think the angry employee is gone, but the last time I came by(a few months ago) the business’ most care-free employee was still there. You can differentiate her from the others because she has a dull, empty look in her eyes as she takes your order and sloppily throws together the ingredients that will make up your sandwich… That, and she had braces, last I checked. After she rings up your order she turns around and walks off, which I don’t see too often at Subways. Usually the employee will stay around a bit, long enough to see the tip you drop in the box, followed by them showing appreciation. Well, apparently this specific person doesn’t care about tips, because she walked off before I could even drop the money in the box(!). Who doesn’t want tips? Especially at a job at a place like Subway? This all made me have second thoughts, and frankly if she’s there the next time I go(probably out of convenience/absolute last-resort), I might not leave a tip if she just walks off again. It may appear as if I’m blowing this out of proportion, but seriously, if this happened to you, you’d also have second thoughts over why you should give extra money over service that doesn’t give a damn about the extra money in the first place. Also, the sandwiches that I’ve had here the past few times were simply not assembled that well. Even by Subway standards. It wasn’t always like this at this Subway spot… There were a couple of employees here working the night shift that were very good at their jobs. They were friendly, attentive, and made sandwiches better than the staff I’ve been encountering lately. A shame that they left. Why do I keep coming back? Well, I keep hoping that there’s new(and better) employees. That’s it, lol. Oh, and for the record, most of my visits have been at night. Maybe the daytime employees are better. Now for some other tidbits: This place gets crowded during the lunch hour, but at night there’s an occasional line and it’s often just a few people, if even that. I’m giving this place a star for the fact that it’s not only one of the larger Subways I’ve been to, but that it also has a pizza oven and all of the baked goods(I think). Some locations lack the pizza oven or don’t have all of the baked goods(all of the muffin variants and all of the cookie variants). There’s a 90-minute free parking structure on the eastern side of the block, on Raymond. Honestly, I would rather go to another Subway location, especially since Pasadena has so many. I’m guessing most of them have better employees.

Hey Subway employees: have a little pride in your work. Don’t try to serve me bread that is ripped at the top so that when I pick it up, it all falls apart. When I ask for a meatball sandwich, please don’t count a small broken chunk of meat as a whole meatball. Please don’t just plop the meatball in the bread all doubled up on one side so that when i bite into it, its only bread. These little things DO make a difference in a customers’ satisfaction. The only reason why I still return is because it is a convenient quick walk from work. But if this continues, my patience will run out and I’ll just go next door to That’s Amore for their pricier sandwiches. At least their sandwiches are made with care.

Not good for early birds. I work a few blocks away and typically stop in right when they open, or should open… My one and only complaint is that this location NEVER opens on time. On the weekends they open at 7 which would allow me 30 minutes to get to work. There have been several occassions where they don’t open the doors until 7:15 or later and I end up leaving. I’ve never worked in fast food but I would think that employees arrive an hour or so before opening to prepare. Otherwise, the location is typically spotless and bread is always fresh even when I visit during the evening.

This review isn’t solely based on one experience. In fact, I’ve come here many times in the last two years. So why the two star review, yet I keep returning? Well, let’s assess that for a brief moment. Two things, a.) it’s Subway. And b.) Subway is cheap with a reliable track record of having low fat/calorie options. …That’s it. That’s the draw for me. That being said, I always second guess my decision to go to this particular one. Usually I sigh, suck it up, and go. I’m never afraid of the lines this store has during their lunch rush. One of Kaiser Permanente’s bigger offices is next door, so Subway seems to get a lot of them in. That’s a good thing. I like to see a business thrive. My only real beef with the place is their staff’s friendliness. I, for one, am understanding of people having a bad day at work. Bad days happen. Crappy customers happen. A person’s mood can’t be all sunshine every day. That being said, neither should a sour attitude. I walked in the other day to the store having no customers. I went around 3:30pm, so there wouldn’t be a lot going on there. Instead of a nice«hello», I got a scowl and little eye contact. I even said, «hello. How are you?» The interesting thing about all of that is before I walked in, I saw this woman chatting with two coworkers, smiling, and refilling the chips. When I walk in, scowl time. I think it’s safe to believe I’m unwelcome here, just based on her moping alone. Again, I’ve been here many times over the last two years. This isn’t new behavior. This store has a morale problem, and should be addressed by their management ASAP. Of course, it probably won’t be as other Unilocalers out there have pointed out the same thing over the last year and I’ve seen no change. …Yes, I’m going to inform their actual management too. But still, there’s another Subway walking distance up Colorado & Marengo. The walk prior to lunch is probably not all that bad of a thing. Their food is fine, which is why I go back. But I really enjoy being treated like a human being occasionally. Over two years, their lack of people skills dings them three stars.

Worst Subway on the planet! It is ALWAYS the same awful experience when you walk into this dump to eat lunch. First off this place is overcrowded with donkeys during the lunch hour, even more crowded than a nightclub! They should put one of their employees out front with velvet ropes and a VIP guest list. And despite other reviews, the line here does NOT move fast! It is VEEEEERRRYYYYY slow! The employees will RUSH you to place your order, then it’s the«Hurry up and wait while the donkey at the front of line pays» game! And of course all these suit wearing CEOs that come here for lunch NEVER carry any cash, so they are pulling out their debit cards to pay for a $ 6. bill… LMFAO! Morons. The employees at Subway call themselves«Sandwich Artists»? HA! That’s a F*@!ing joke! There is nothing artistic about rushing to throw ingredients onto a messy sandwich! Most of the time these employees who don’t speak or understand English very well, will screw up your sandwich right from the get go! This place is AWFUL! Oh, and you gotta love the way Subway has started to «Toast» their subs now as an option to customers, ONLY to keep up with the competition QUIZNOS… STICKTOYOURGUNSSUBWAY! DON’T TOAST!!! And another thing… what’s so special about a $ 5 footlong? If you ask me, this is actually a rip-off! This is certainly nothing to sing about in their stupid commercials. Lets really take a look at this so called«$ 5. Special». First of all, it’s $ 5JUST for the sandwich, NO chips and NO drink! If you want to add them, you will be paying another $ 5 making your lunch a minimum of $ 10…that’s no special! Now, if you go to lunch at McDonalds or Burger King or any other fast food restaurant, guess what? Their Meal Deal specials that INCLUDE both fries and drinks are around $ 5. TOTAL! This sounds like a better deal to me folks! So stop trying to brainwash people into believing that Subway’s $ 5. footlong is a goo deal, it’s NOT! It’s a S*@T Deal! The bottom line is this Subway location is the worst on the planet in every way, shape, and form. You will receive awful rushed service, a messy and most of the time incomplete sandwich, and you will get ripped off! I have already complained to the corporate offices of Subway and they don’t seem to care so I will exercise my right as a customer and NEVER eat in another Subway ever again! Enjoy.
