Had to share this great up and coming salon called «STYLE WITH A TWIST». The owner, Beverly, has been doing my hair for over 20 years. She can hook up any and all hairstyles from braids, full weaves, press & curls, relaxers, twists and more! Seriously, Beverly is the best. Great environment and great with kids too btw!!!

I’ve been a customer of Beverly’s for over 13 years. My hair used to be short (neck length) brittle & dry with lots of split ends. It was a mess. Since she has been taking care of my hair, it has grown long (past my shoulders), healthy and beautiful. I’m always receiving compliments on my hair.

Beverly is a professional, honest, attentive, flexible and experienced cosmetologist. I have been going to Beverly for years, and I call that woman the hair whisperer. I’ve gotten many compliments on my weaves; she also braids, twists, colors, perms, styles, and I’ve never had someone press/​flat iron my hair as well as she does (she’s not afraid of those kinky edges!).
She can style any type of hair; my hair was curly/​kinky and short and I wanted to grow it longer, so she suggested I put in a weave, and it worked — my hair has grown by at least 6 inches over a 9-​month period. Actual results may vary, of course! :o)
Just make sure that you call well in advance, because she books up really fast. Like I said, Beverly is flexible, so if you need an early morning appointment — call her and I’m sure she can work something out with you. I recently had a 6:30am (Saturday) appointment with Beverly — I’m telling you, she’s flexible!
Oh, and there’s street parking available on Lake right in front of the shop (remember to turn your wheels to the curb). Cash only.
