Took a chance and hit GOLD! Stephen knew exactly what I wanted and I am very picky! I am middle aged but do NOT want to have my hair look show my age. He cut my straight hair sophisticated but sexy! Not only do I love my look, I get compliments… how great is that? Thank you Stephen!!!

Today is my first visit and Stephen gave me an a appointment at 4:15pm. I texted him that I will be there by 4:00. I reached by 4:10 and I waited for 45 mins. He didn’t turned up and I texted him as well but no response. I called him and left a voice message as well. He called later and rescheduled later

Stephen is great. I have very curly hair and he knew exactly how to tackle it. My hair looks fabulous! Not to mention, he’s funny and easy to talk to. I plan on going to him regularly.

Love Stephen! I purchased a Groupon for a haircut and went about a month ago. He was 1) on time; 2) really fun to talk to; and 3) knew what haircut would be best for the shape of my face and current status of my hair. Unfortunately, because of chemotherapy treatments, I’ve been losing a ton of hair and/​or having my hair break extremely easy. Stephen recommended a hair style to get my hair looking healthy as well as recommended a shampoo/​conditioner (nioxin) for me to use to build up my hair growth. It’s been over a month and my haircut still looks super cute and because of the shampoo/​conditioner recommendation, I feel my hair is getting stronger. I definitely recommend going to Stephen!

Well, I DID like Stephen but we’re done going there. My boyfriend scheduled a 7:30 appt and yes, we were late because he was driving from Cerritos but we pull in– lights are out and we had a text from Stephen saying he left because he had other plans that night. SERIOUSLY?! The last time my fiancé went to see him he had to patiently wait about 20 mins AFTER HIS APPT for Stephen to finish cutting his other customers hair. He did it. He didn’t complain. He sat around waiting for Stephen to finish. I understand time is valuable but the double standard is NOT COOL AT ALL. We’ve decided to not go back. He’s already found another hair salon that he loves even more, who did a great job and is MUCH cheaper.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Stephen for one year now. My hair never looked better. I drive 30 miles to see him and it’s well worth it. Not only is he the best colorist, he has a wonderful sense of humor which makes every appointment fun. Highly recommended!

I have now been going to Stephen Whitt since last summer for cut and color, and have even recommended him to friends and coworkers! His cuts are beautiful and consistent each time, and I feel thankful to have found him! He is also very patient with color consultation, and works with you to achieve your best look!

I’ve just moved to Pasadena and when I needed a haircut I found Stephen on Unilocal.He was very helpful over the phone when I made the appointment and had various questions.
I went in to get my haircut earlier today. I can be somewhat finicky about how I want it cut. Stephen patiently listened to my LONG rant and then took the time to cut it just right, occasionally pausing to make sure he was cutting it correctly.
He’s very easy going and will definitely be my stylist going forward while I live in Pasadena.

Stephen is a gem! He’s done my hair for the last 7 years, and he always does an exceptional job. He’s always able to do something fun & creative when I’ve gone to him with the need for something that stands out. He’s very talented with color, as he’s seen me thru various shades of browns and reds, and has done some really fun things with highlights and lowlights. My coworkers always compliment my hair after every visit… and I don’t know how he does it, but his cuts always grow out so well. Love him!

Stephen is my all-​time favorite stylist. I saw him for the first time more than 15 years ago, and I always left feeling 1) beautiful and 2) tired from all of the laughing :) For someone like me, who never has an idea of what I want in a haircut/​style/​color, he is a perfect stylist. He listens, takes into account lifestyle (ok, in my case, laziness), face shape, and personal style — and delivers a look perfectly suited to the individual, all while making you feel comfortable and keeping you smiling and laughing. Stephen Whitt is by far the best colorist and stylist I have ever come across. Not only does he really take into mind the shape of your face and coloring of your skin, he also allows for some playfulness as well. His cuts are so good they last a very long time. Any time he does my hair I receive compliments. I have been seeing him for years.
On top of the talent he possesses, he is also extremely personable. It’s fun to get my hair done by him because it’s like visiting with an old friend. Hours fly by with laughter, and in the end I look gorgeous — all thanks to Stephen. I adore him. You must get your hair done by him. You will not regret it.
