I’ve been here three times in the past three days and twice the service was non existent. The first time I came in was maybe 15 mins before closing & walked around for about 10 of that by myself before being greeted(this is a small store mind you). I was asking about upgrading two iPhones and was told it wouldn’t cost me anything because I was upgrade eligible. This was exciting, until I was told«you should come back tomorrow, we’re about to close and this will take 30 minutes». I get that it is the end of the shift, but the store is open and had I been greeted in a timely manner, this would’ve been a shorter process. Either way, I left and returned the next day to do the upgrade. I was greeted as soon as I entered this time and we started working out the details only to find out that it wasn’t as easy and pain free as I was told the previous day. I had to pay the taxes and sign a new contract or lease the phone for another two years. Either way not exactly what I was told, I just feel I wasn’t told the whole story at some point. Since we were on a time crunch and it appeared to be taking a little too long we had to leave, which I felt bad about because the associate had the phones out and ready to swap, but it would’ve just taken too long and probably another 30 mins. So, we came back the next day and I again walked in, stood around for 10 mins and had to leave without being greeted… again. I’ve had shocking service here before, a few years ago, regarding a battery I think. I’m a believer in giving credit where it’s due & leave my fair share of good reviews but this was not one of those times. Patty(I think that was her name) on day two was pleasant and helpful, she’s the reason for the second star, but the overall experience I’ve had at this location over the years has been woeful.

I would give negative stars but that is not an option. This is because the service sucks. I went from using Verizon to sprint and have been with sprint for a month now. I’m very frustrated with their service. FYI, you can cancel during the 14 first days of signing your contract without being charged the cancellation fee. I wished someone would have told me. The signal with Sprint sucks even with an iphone 5. It is always searching for the signal, which kills my battery. I carry my charger with me at all times and fully charge my phone 3 – 4 times a day because of this. I do advise AGAINST going to sprint for a two year contract bc I am miserable and will continue to be miserable until I can switch providers. I went to this location to get help once bc my phone antenna was messed up and they chose not to help me. The problem with sprint was that my phone wasn’t able to do the service update with a nonfunctioning antenna, which I later found out. They had me running around town trying to get my phone/service normalized. When I was ‘helped’, a girl(who used to work at the Pearland location and currently works at this location) told me to go to the Pearland location. At the Pearland store, an employee who fixed it said that she had the abilities to fix it but didnt want to. I dont know why she wasted my time when she could’ve done it. She was incompetent, passive aggressive and lazy. Her attitude is a reflection of how this store is managed and that reflects how sprint is a managed overall. If you are looking to see if u should switch from Verizon to sprint, the answer is NO!!! U will thank me for it. When I’m shopping and I want to send a pic of something I like to a friend, I should be able to and sprint hinders that. I am not able to send a picture message or browse on the Internet when I’m in a building like the mall or a hospital or even getting my nails done the. When i had verizon and tmobile i could get service anywhere. THEBESTPLACETOGETRECEPTIONWITHSPRINTISTOGOOUTSIDE. WHICHISVERYVERYVERYINCONVENIENT!!! I CAN’T WAITUNTILMYCONTRACTISUPSO I CANSWITCHBACK.

I have been coming here, before I even moved to the Houston area. Only because, I would come here, when I visited my sister, who lives close by. Call me a «cell phone dork,» but phones are my «thing.» Got to love technology! I have seen the store remodeled, and change of the years and think it’s a great«face lift.» The staff has always been friendly, and the management seems to know what they are doing, by greeting customers and helping customers. I have been in stores, where management points out customers to employees, instead of handling the customer themselves. I have been by both the sales associates and the technicians here at this store, and have no complaints about either. I would say they are pretty right on about things. I went in to compare phones, for an upgrade, a few months back, and meant to write about my experience on Unilocal, but never got around to it. I looked at a couple of different phones, and the sales rep showed me a LG Android phone, and the Blackberry Style, since I use a Blackberry Tour. I had done my research about the phones, prior to going in, and«picked» his head, as he gave me information. He enlightened me with some information I did not know about the 2 phones too, which was nice, and he was right on about the rest. Anyhow, I didn’t end up getting a phone that day, since I was there to «compare» phones. However, he thanked me for stopping in and told me if there was any questions I had, to feel free to stop by and«ask away.»

Knowledgeable, young staff. I was helped instantly, and when my guy took his lunch break, every other associate asked to make sure I was still doing ok or already helped. Kudos for telling me that online sales definitely have the potential to be cheaper. In-store reps are notorious for not disclosing that hint b/c that means less sales. [My last 2 phones, I bought online.] Unfortunately, the phone I want(EVO) is no longer offered online so I’ll be on the hunt for one instead. Before I decided, rep made sure to give me the run down on the differences between the Epic and EVO, the 2 I had narrowed it down to. He was totally honest and didn’t try to convince me otherwise, which would be the better option and what I was comfortable with. I’m just not a slider kind of gal. I like this location better than the 2 I’m closer to because the wait isn’t atrocious and the staff aren’t complete zombies.

The stores appearance is very nice and contemporary but the service rep was not very knowledgeable on the type of phone i had. I had to navigate to the test screen to show him some issues. They talked to you in a very condescending way, overall bad experience.
