Seriously some of the worst and most overpriced Mexican food I’ve ever had. The only reason I didn’t give it one star? It was the only place open on Sunday nearby. It appears that all the places nearby are closed Sunday for some reason. The beans were the absolute worst I’ve ever had, bar none. They tasted like water and were barely a different color than the low quality shredded cheese sprinkled on top. We had 2 quesadillas and 2 enchilada combos and no drinks, since it was to go, and it was $ 40. The quesadillas were only cheese about ½ way through and bare tortilla the rest of the way. They were $ 7.95 each! The salsas were worse than La Victoria canned salsa and super watery. So disappointing. I was actually mad because the food was so awful and so expensive. Also, the service was lax and they just didn’t seem to care. The atmosphere looks like a gaudy bathroom with fake brick and cheesy colors. I could not have dreamed up a worse Mexican experience… Well, maybe if Montezuma’s revenge was involved… Go anywhere but here. Do not eat here. See photos.

Walked by the other day, and saw them advertising«Asada Fries», and I am a sucker for any kind of topped fries! So after much debating, I broke my diet, and very excitedly ordered some for dinner. Totally not worth it. The fries had that«frozen» flavor and were soggy, and the meat was just ground beef and had no flavor at all, and the cheese was almost non existent. The guacamole was ok, but not good enough to make up for the rest. On top of that service was only«meh». Lots of good reviews, so I’m thinking maybe other stuff on the menu is better, but… it’s unlikely I’ll find out.

Super cute little place! came here for post New Year’s hangover breakfast/lunch. I got the huevos rancheros. It comes with an extra tortilla. Your choice of corn or flour. My husband got machaca with eggs. Tasty! They have a little bar with your choice of green or red sauce. It also has cilanto, onions, pickled chilies, etc. to go! Now, what I’m really excited for is their specials. On Monday’s they have $ 1 Tacos, on Wed/Thursday they have happy hour from 5−7p, and Friday they have happy hour from 6−8pm! This place is so close to my house. I cannot wait to return! Everyone here is very friendly! Seriously one of the friendliest people around. It’s mostly street parking from what I saw, but I think I noticed there was a shared lot next door as well. Definitely will be back sometime soon!

Its like visiting Mexico. Love it! This is not gringo food. This is the real deal. Homemade fresh tortillas and sauces. Yum!

Chili Relleno burrito(w/choice of meat) is off the hook! Homemade tortillas & salsa bar make this place a «no miss» for great food. And the staff there are great. My girlfriend came in for a quesadilla & didn’t have cash(or debit card) & they gave her the food & told her to pay them when she could!

Slack, careless attitude. Delivered the wrong item… late. I did get a sorry, but no attempt to set it right. And I was changed for the privilege. Go to some place that wants your business.

I was a lunch guest at PT #2 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Not because it’s super authentic, which it is pretty much not. But it’s a charming little place with sweet staff, and the chow was pretty good. I had a burrito, which to me isn’t very Mexican. I know that sounds funny, but my wife grew up in Mexico and never heard of a burrito until she got here.

A very pricy menu. Not recommended unless you are prepared to spend $ 80-$ 100 for 4 people. The service is below average. Our waitress forgot to bring ordered items to our table. When I reminded her, we were more than half done eating. We had to wave her down for more drinks. There were only 2 other customers in the whole restaurant. I think if the service would have been top notch equal to the high prices perhaps we would give it a second chance. There are so many other great restaurants in Pasadena. No need to put yourself through the whole unhappy experience. I expressed my concerns to owner, that was a waste of time. No apologies, no attempt to keep our future business.

have seen this place for years but never bothered to stop in until recently. they offer a wide array of menu items and both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We ordered the asada burrito and the chile rellano burrito. The food was delivered relatively quickly, it was fresh, and it had a good taste to it. The asada burrito was substantial but it was a little light on the portion of beef. All in all, I can definitely see myself coming back again.

Al pastor tacos would really good, would come here again, good salsas too. Authentic food and had a soccer game in which I enjoyed.

Fresh and that is what you want when looking for Mexican Food. Good salsa bar, affordable tacos with the adobado taking the highest honors. Lots of great Mex in these spots & this was worthy of giving it a try

Puebla Tacos No. 2 is one of the best hidden gems in Pasadena, you have to try the green salsa on lengua tacos.

The food was ok. A bit over priced for what it was. I got the chicken salad and it was by far the worst chicken salad I’ve ever had. The service was not great. Our server seemed pretty uncomfortable serving us so definitely not open to a diverse clientele. My friend didn’t finish her food and asked for a box and when she asked for chips to go she charged her extra because they were to go. This is definitely a NOGO for us!

Met a friend here for a quick bite. Was starving on my way home and wanted to eat somewhere right off the 210fwy. Came to this gem! Their Chicken Burrito was huge! I dined in and was given chips and salsa. My friend told me their Shrimp Tacos are amazing! Imma have to try those next time!

I like their Albondigas soup and their carnitas, $ 1 street tacos also. Good local place.

In 1992, during the LA riots, the corner strip mall a block from my house with a Ralph’s Florist, a Mexican bakery, a barber, a liquor store, and a pet grooming business was firebombed and burned to the ground. I still remember the sounds of the bottles of alcohol exploding like Molotov cocktails in the blazing inferno. A few years later, Puebla Taco moved to the neighborhood, and picked up the customers(like me) who used to buy lengua tacos from the bakery lady! Over the years, this«Pueb» as my family calls it had expanded into the neighboring unit, adding a dining room. Before this, the prices were really low, the food was great, and it was little more than a walk up to-go place. After they added the extra square footage, prices went up. A lengua taco is 2.10 these days… A little steep, but still tasty. Corn tortillas are handmade in the store, and the food is always hot and fresh. A help-yourself salsa bar adds value. They don’t have fountain drinks, but you can either buy a Jarritos or Coke from their cold case, or go next door to the liquor store and bring your own drink… They don’t seem to mind. Burritos and Tortas here are very good, but with that $ markup. I like menudo here on the weekend… It cures a long Friday night like nothing else.

Overpriced. I’ve been here twice and both times I came to the same conclusion: the food is halfway decent but at a price that is 25% higher than places of similar quality in the same neighborhood. Paying $ 9.25 for a medium sized burrito at a hole-in-the-wall mexican joint is a bit high.

When I pick up my friend from the airport after traveling from NY, this is the place we stop before I take him to our house. He is as white as the day is long, and he absolutely LOVES this place, as do I. He orders the Lengua tacos and gets about 4 of them(filling). I know a lot of you will think that lengua is gross, but it is actually delicious. If a white man thinks they are good, you should take my word for it. Personally I love the carnitas, the lengua, and the pastor. Doesn’t matter how you get it… burrito, taco, etc. It is always delicious. Ask for the roasted jalepenos and onions as a side, it’s free and delicious to go with your meal. Watch out, it’s spicy. The pico de gallo is delcious. I pick it up sometimes for a party if I don’t feel like making my own. I’m usually a spicy salsa kind of gal, but for standard Pico de Gallo, this is the best. Sorry Baja Fresh, no comparison. Friends have often asked me where I purchased it and are always surprised it is from this cute neighborhood restaurant. Regardless of what you order, you will never be disappointed. Take out or sit down.

Came here one afternoon and I’m sad to say I wish I didn’t. We got some free chips and salsa while we were looking at the menu but the chips were stale. I like my salsa chunky and their’s was like dipping it into water. Aside from that, their chips also tasted weird. It had some kind of soapy taste; it was very strange. My friend ordered some tacos and a «Coke Zero» to drink, and the waitress brought him a soup instead. I was told later that Coke Zero sounded like«soup» in Spanish lol. The waitress was apologetic and was very nice about it. We actually felt bad wondering if it was going to come out of her pay. I really hope it didn’t! I ordered the wet burrito and the meat inside was so dry. I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. On the bright side, their portions are quite large and the prices are pretty good, but I highly doubt I will come back to this place with so many better Mexican restaurants nearby.
