I worked with Luxe Design Build on my 500 sf master suite addition, which included a master bedroom, master bathroom, walk in closet, laundry closet and storage. Working with Rich Mortenson and his subs was a genuine pleasure. That’s not something I ever expected to say about a contractor.
Rich is VERY responsive via phone calls or text. I always had an answer within a couple of hours. He estimated the project taking 3 – 4 months and he was ahead of schedule and completed the job (with a couple of minor exceptions) in 2 ½ months. I was extremely impressed that the subs did an excellent job cleaning up the job site at a the end of almost every day. The end result is beautiful. The quality of work and attention to detail is fantastic. Even though he is not going to be your least expensive bid, I would absolutely use Luxe Design Build again and refer him to friends. You get what you pay for.

Luxe Design Build recently completed a major renovation project for our school. The project required various trades working in sync to complete the project within a speficied time frame. Rich did an excellent job managing each trade ensuring a consistent work flow. In addition, our project as with any major renovation experienced unforeseen changes. Luxe Design Build effectively managed these changes keeping our management team well informed of the process as well as the requirements needed to keep the project work moving forward. Prior to the project start up, Luxe Design provided us with a detailed project schedule listing all key dates including inspections. This project schedule was very useful allowing us to strategize important engagements or other special functions to be held in our newly renovated school.
I would highly recommend Luxe Design Build for any size project. Rich will appropriately take you through the process from start to finish to ensure that you are completely satisified with the work being performed.

It was a pleasure to work with Rich Mortensen and his team. The overall quality of the work was excellent, and the job was finished on time and on budget. Rich is punctual, smart, and honest. He has a very strong ability to visualize how things will look and what will work best in a room. I completely trusted his judgement in choosing items and finishes (and I do not do that easily) and the finished product is lovely. He uses excellent workmen and keeps a close eye on the job. He is very easy to reach and responsive to questions and concerns. Mine was a relatively small job, but I would not hesitate to use Luxe for any size remodel. Rich does high quality work and is a businessman of impeccable integrity.
