Laid-​back library. Usually not crowded and parking spaces open.
Not all tables have outlets.

This is my local library. I love to stop here for the Internet for the library and for the fun park bench. There is nothing like a local library.

Overall this branch is nice, quaint, and fairly quiet with a relaxed atmosphere since it sits by a residential street and far enough from Colorado Boulevard so as not to feel or hear too much traffic. Parking is super easy. There’s also a small outdoor picnic area with one or two tables and benches. Some, not all, of the library staff may come off as «cold» and could use a little improvement, but they’ve always gotten the job done for me. I simply check out my books and move on. The reading area is kept clean, the book collection pretty impressive, and all of the computer equipment are always in good working condition.

I have used this library for many, many years and never had any problems or issues. Unfortunately, about a couple of years ago they have, not one but two, employees that are rude, extremely unprofessional and «Cat Fight» like attitude. If called, they hang up on you because they don’t know how to help. They show having no knowledge or intellect. They don’t know how to search the computer and help you instead they hit the keyboard saying «stupid computer» on and on. One of them is the Supervisor!!!
Who put these imbeciles in charge of the Public Library??? When told that their behavior will be reported to Deputy Director and the Director, they showed no respect for any one of them. Yes, they are that type!!!
Do not use this branch it is the worst library in Pasadena.
