This place is horrible. Don’t understand how business has been here this long. Customer service is atrocious. Lines are long in the drive thru with little space to work with other cars come in and are stuck trying to get out. It’s a nightmare. The area is not even clean it looks more like a back alley. I should have went to Popeyes which is up the street. Now they’re telling me I have to wait an extra eight minutes of I want the extra crispy chicken boy I tell you i so wish I went to Popeyes.

LOOKOUTFORTHECON-ARTISTATTHEDRIVE-UPWINDOW! I went to this KFC yesterday. I’ve been here before, but it’s been about a year since I last visited. I switched to the Popeye’s down the street because this KFC is really shabby and run-down. But I didn’t have time for the line at Popeyes so I went to KFC. Huge mistake! I placed my order at the drive-through window. The young woman at the window read it back to me, and then started adding items to my order that I didn’t ask for. When I told her I didn’t order the extra items she said«Just Kidding!’ She asked me if I was ready for my total and then said it was $ 10.21. I handed her a $ 20. Another employee who was standing by the cash register said; «She tricked you, it’s only $ 9.35!». They both laughed. She gave me the correct change and the receipt, which showed that the bill was $ 9.35 with $ 10.65 due back as change. Just to top it all off, the soda had no syrup in it, they gave me a cup of fizzy water. Obviously I’ll never be back at this KFC. If you go here, make sure to check your receipt. Not only will they try to sneak stuff onto your bill that you didn’t order, they’ll try to rip you off on the total you owe! Avoid these scammers at all costs!

Long story short, I stopped eating KFC for the longest time, ever since the quality of the food became just plain awful. I thought I’d give it a another shot today. Not surprised, the food was super greasy(you can literally squeeze the oil out of the strips) & completely overcooked, almost as if they re-fried my entire meal. The wedges were completely crispy & the strips were literally batter, completely fried to death with no actual meat inside. I hate being negative & I’ve never Unilocaled before but this time I just had to. Honestly, my dog even refused to eat it. Will never eat here again. Ever.

I love KFC grilled chicken — unfortunately this KFC on Lake Ave in Pasadena never seems to have any available any time I have stopped in. I take the drive through and usually order 8 pieces but always seem to have to take some of the chicken fried as they don’t have enough ready. They said to call ahead. Tonight I called ahead. I had to wait in line at the drive through for 20 minutes!!! By the time I got up to the person taking my order– AGAIN they said they gave away some of the order!!! I was so mad. I am never going to eat or order from this particular KFC again

I usually do not eat at kfc unless I’m desperate. But it sounded good so what the heck. I try to place my order but the girl working the counter keeps leaving to the back. Finally I order but while I’m ordering she stops and gets the women who ordered before me’s order, no problem. Hands her the order and says«oh by the way no biscuits right now, machines broken. The women says okay so what so I get instead? They work it out then finally my order, after she takes my credit card she runs it and and smiles and says ok that will be 80 dollars. She was trying to be funny but it isn’t funny in this day of credit cars fraud. Very poorly run establishment. I won’t go back most if can help it.

First Off, HUGEKFC fan. I can never get enough chicken breast and chicken legs.(original recipe of course). The only problem I have with this KFC in particular is the staff. I’ve been going here for years because I live close by. The staff is always changing, but the customer service seems to always be less than kind. I honestly do not expect much from a KFC worker, but I have been to other KFC’s that had staff members with less attitude. Also, I always ask for the freshly made chicken, but they usually just say«it’s fresh» every time. I doubt that’s true. Also, they tend to get annoyed when you ask questions or want substitutions, and I think they over charge sometimes when you ask for changes(but I’m not 100% sure on that, because I’d rather not waste my time with them). Also, if you come within 30 – 45 mins of closing time, do not expect them to make fresh chicken. But as I said before, I don’t expect much from a KFC worker except to take my order and give me the correct amount of change. Only reason I’m giving them two stars is because I’m been to KFC’s that had a more welcoming environment. But even the best kfc I’ve ever been to would probably never get a 5 star rating from me.

Their cashiers somehow manage to appear half-asleep while still trying to rush you out the door, even with no other customers around. It’s actually kind of impressive. Unfortunately, unfriendly employees are a minor issue compared to the bigger problem of simply not getting the food you paid for. I’ll spare you the details of each offense; let’s just say I’m not the only one who has received a $ 5 Fill-Up without a cookie. Perhaps the awful experience you get at this KFC is punishment for not going to the Roscoe’s next door or the Pop-Eye’s across the street. Seriously, I really wanted that cookie!

Waited in line for 15 minutes before getting to window. When getting to window ordered their Wednesday special chicken pot pie only to find out they didn’t have any! They said their ovens weren’t working properly. The only thing on special on Wednesday and no one can come out and tell you there is no special there is no sign there is nothing you just sit and wait in line to find out they can’t deliver!!!

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 210⁄365 Well, what can you say about a place that looks, smells, and feels like its still 1995? This KFC needs a major upgrade. Their computers are still the old beige ones that have black screens and green font! WTF?! The lady was very nice and prices aren’t too bad, but the drive thru situation is horrendous. Not ordering until you’re at the window makes the entire drive thru process ridiculously long… and I can’t even see the menu when i’m ordering at the window. When you’re ordering for 5 people it’s really inconvenient. The«Special of the day» sign was written on cardboard. Ghetto doesn’t even describe it. Why!!!

It was ok. But it needs more pieces for the chicken and everything !

I used to be a fan… but i discovered Popeye’s across the street. But this location for the most part has the best service compared to the other KFCs I’ve been to.

Got my order wrong, yay. Way to ruin my football Sunday, KFC. Came here because of that stupid football commercial«Game day bucket go BOOM», yeah that one. This KFC is so ghetto, there’s no ordering menu & speaker in the drive-thru, they just have a menu pinned to the wall and you have to order at the window when you pay. This location is right next door to Roscoes Chicken and Waffles, so just walk next door and have yourself a real chicken meal!

This locations is… well… it’s hard to describe… it sucks! I hate ordering here because regardless if you order inside or outside, it’s going to take long. Anyway, let’s jump in: FOOD — 3 Stars: This is KFC and I usually get the grilled chicken because I want to be ‘healthy’. So, it’s pretty good, but I just eat to eat it. I don’t come here for the flavor or because it’s something I’ll go to bed dreaming about… I come here to get food into my stomach. The sides are decent. No complaints with that. SERVICE — 1 Star: I don’t know why the service here is so slow. It’s terrible. If I go inside, it’s a bit faster than being outside… I’ll get to that in a minute, but no matter what, it’s slow! The drive-thru is really terrible. Normally, you’ll order your food from the menu and then pay/pick-up your food at the window. Well, this place take it to another level. You basically order, pay, and pick-up all at the same window. So, it takes super long because they don’t have time to prepare your food. The menu is literally taped against the wall of the building with«X’s» of items that are no longer served or random printouts on bubbling paper(from the rain/sun) showing their specials. The staff is generally friendly so that’s their saving grace. ATMOSPHERE — 0.5 Stars: Do I want to eat here? — No. Have I eaten here? — Yes. Would I do eat here again? — Hell no. I felt so OCD walking in there because it just felt dirty and some of the tables weren’t cleaned. The atmosphere is pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat in here. RECOMMENDATION: If you need KFC specifically after 9PM or whatever, then come here. If you just want chicken and it’s daylight, then there’s a Roscoe’s next door, Church’s and Popeye’s down the street, and I’m sure you can find an Albertson’s or Ralph’s as well. This location/building is the dumps so I’d avoid it unless you really really really have to come here.

One night after work I was craving some KFC(very rare). I should have just ignored this, because coming to this KFC was the worst mistake ever. I’ll get right to the point, they served me room temperature food! Not only is it unappealing but is also a health risk. Who knows how long the food had been sitting out? What worries me is that if they had such little regard to the storage of already prepared food, what regard do they have for the preparation of raw food? My guess is NONE. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this KFCATALLCOSTS. I know this may sound cliché but this place deserves ZERO stars. It truly is that terrible and unsafe.

AVOIDTHISKFC. First and foremost, this is the only KFC I have ever been to, on more than several occasions, where it takes more than 15 minutes to get through the drive-thru. Every single person that works here is rude, slow, and stupid. Second, the food here always tastes undercooked and slimey. Other KFCs don’t have this problem. I love KFC, the chicken is great and the value is worth it. But this KFC is gross, period. Avoid it. Don’t go here. Check out Roscoe’s instead.

I went there last week on Tax Day and decided to try out the infamous Double Down. Unfortunately they didn’t have the bacon to complete the project because supposedly they didn’t have the promotion(yet). Sooooo I tried it regardless and I didn’t like it. My wife did like it better though. I guess I was underwhemed. I am not a big fan of white chicken meat and they were stingy with their secret sauce. I also would have liked the chicken to be more crunchy and less salty. Perhaps it’s better with bacon: as with most cases. You read all these articles about KFC going too far or something revoltionary, but I was really unimpressed.

So like most cheap american’s I came armed with Oprah’s free grilled chicken meal but was quickly turned away and given a notice: «Due to the overwhelming demand for FREEKFC meal we’re unable to offer it to you today… yada yada… fill out this form and attach the coupon and mail it in… rain check… free pepsi next time. Thanks, KFC President Roger Eaton» Screw you KFC and Roger! I am not dragging my butt to the post office, buying a stamp and mailing it in by the 19th. I have other things going on in my life and today was the day I had time to cash in my coupon. I should’ve listened to all the other complaints from fellow Unilocalers about their difficulties in redeeming the coupon. They have this new campaign, «UNthink what you thought about KFC,» but I think I’ll keep my thoughts about you unchanged. I’d be better off spending my money elsewhere at a local chicken place. Too bad cause my husby loves your honey BBQ wings.
