I paid for a laptop and phone as new but I swear they are refurbished because they have many random glitches that really set me back in my work. I loved apple for a long time but Im thinking of going back to PC! 1. I spent a pretty penny on my macbook air and every time I log in, for a second the screen freezes and has all these lines. I noticed since when I first bought it and at the genius bar I was told this was normal. Now it freezes for a longer time. Also, sometimes when I unplug my projector, my computer will randomly restart and I will lose my data! aghhhhh so frustrating!!! 2. My «new» iPhone– It is slow, freezes, sometimes the buttons or touch screen wont work! What is up with apple?! I guess Steve Jobs took quality with him.

NO. NO. NO. I am so sorry for myself that I ever went to this store. I have applecare on my iPhone which has technical issue. unfortunately, the iPhone’s front glass got broken right after I made an appointment to check the problem. They say they have to change the front glass first which costs 79 dollars then they check the technical problem. What do you think? Hello?! What does the glass have anything to do with the previous technical issue??? Should i mention the store manager’s name or not which i don’t think it matters. BUT Now i do understand that the applecare means nothing to this store!!! insulting manner of store manager is so clear to every one. I say I know a lot about apple iPhone and he says, «Oh. So you are a certified apple tech.» Training employee along with a shadow as he calls himself makes it more complicated. NO. Please either don’t go to this place or gather some information before you do. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO…

This store is a joke… After we noticed there were no one basically in line and a bunch of those employees goofing off, and 2hrs having been passed, we asked about the wait once more. When they said the text will let us know, we just walked out. Save yourself times and energy ! Wish I could give a zero stars!!!

I feel like I’ve had whatever experiences here, but I’m a pretty nonchalant consumer. If I actually cared, I’d probably be unhappy about this particular Apple store. I got my iPod here in under 10 minutes. The workers were really unfriendly until they realized I wasn’t a high school child, actually had money, and intended to purchase right then and there. I’m sure they get a lot of people who come in just to play with the goods. Doesn’t mean it’s okay to treat all customers homogeneously though! I came today to try and get my Macbook serviced, but it was waaaay too crowded. Gave up after waiting in line for 20 minutes :(Maybe it’s also because of the holidays? Idk.

I am writing this review on one of their computers while waiting to be helped at the Genius Bar. The quoted wait time after checking in to get seen was 1 hour(turned out to be 1 hr 40 minutes). This is on a Thursday afternoon, sure I guess it’s before the holidays but wow. If I knew, make an appointment before! This visit is for a friend’s phone so I’m just tagging along, if it wasn’t under warranty maybe go to another third party provider for cheaper faster service. The good thing is that you get a couple text messages as your appointment time approaches, so you can wander around Old Town or like me «test» out their computers. Looking around there are tons of employees but they are more concerned with demoing products and chatting. Yeah better to get some new Apple cult members, once you buy a product they know they already have you in their grips. *Insert evil laughter* The actual Genus Bar employee was nice and got to the point, actual time to be helped within 15 minutes. So I guess it’s more of the store’s way of doing things, maybe up the ratio of Genius Bar employees?

I’ve had good experiences here and they seem to hire the same types of folks and hold to the same standard as the average Apple Store, which is every color of the rainbow and high-for-retail, respectively. I enjoy Apple stores and Apple employees most of the time, and I think the Pasadena store is a legit offering considering how many times I’ve been to this store without having issue beyond a long wait for simple order pickup or returns. Longer than usual? I’d say not really any better or worse compared to the other Apple Stores in the area like Americana, Glendale Galleria, The Grove or any others that come to mind. They typically have items I want when I buy online and pick up in store. I consider the Pasadena store«my» Apple Store and I hope this review tips the scales in my favor someday when I’m having phone issues but signs of use deem the phone beyond replacement. l°l\_(«/)_/I#l Others note that customer service is slow and give low reviews based on that, but they also have the freedom to take their time and ask questions when their turn comes, which is valuable. You can’t have it both ways… I mean, there’s already like 30 Apple employees crowding the store and working with guests when you scan the store. Make an appointment!
