Mountain Man has a great selection of candy, plus other unique sweet and salty treats. Pretty much every variety one can think of is available here. Their items are reasonably priced for the amount you get of each item.
Another element to this shop is an extensive offering of gifts and knick-​knacks– you could easily find something for probably anyone.

Mountain Man has been a staple in Colorado for years with their products being sold all over Colorado. But actually visiting the store on Mainstreet is a special treat! They have some of the few Parker memorabilia available including historical calendars, and replicas of some of the landmarks, and a nice selection of unique glassware and bric-​à-​brac. It is a tradition of a bunch of Parker folks to shop here for the Christmas Stocking and Easter basket fillers. They have a great selection of candies and nuts and small toys at very inexpensive prices compared to the quality. The staff has worked there for years and years and during the holidays they send out and custom make 100’s of baskets full of goodies. You can choose your basket and make it up yourself and they’ll ship it for you or have them do a theme with a price range. It’s definately a must see if you love candy or nuts!

Okay, so I’m a sucker for buying things impulsively – especially food. And since I have class in the evenings, that doesn’t lead to the healthiest dining choices on my part. When I saw the tables set up with snacks, I knew I’d be in trouble.
Though there were a variety of options to choose from as far as snacks go, I ended up with an interesting corn nut thing that was flavored with nacho seasoning. That may sound weird, but it is quite delicious and addicting. I got a huge bag for $ 5 and have been munching away happily for over a week now and making friends along the way while sharing.
I’m not sure how wide spread the line is, but to make it to Houston means that they’re doing something right. I’m sure the other things are just as tasty and if they’re on campus again tonight, I’m sure I’ll be adding a few more bags of goodies into my pantry and onto my waistline.
