Me and my girls love a good froyo sesh. After dinner everyone agreed they were craving froyo. With no 16 Handles(our usual frozen yogurt spot) nearby we did a Unilocal search and found Red Mango. When we walked in the lady gave us two sample cups each and proceeded to say ‘do not reuse your sample cups once you’ve already tested a flavor’… the way she said this really rubbed me the wrong way. She said it the way teachers would read you rules on the first day of school. Whatever though, I just brushed that off. So we all go and sample, and I realized there was another flavor or two I still wanted to sample, considering I’ve never been to Red Mango. When I went back to ask for one more sample cup, she lady looked at me and said ‘I gave you two when you walked in, that’s the limit.’… pause. First off, why the heck would you allow customers too only sample TWO out of 8 or so flavors. Like will you really go out of business if you let me SAMPLE a third flavor??? And if it’s that serious why wouldn’t you recite that rule to me too upon entrance. Secondly, the condescending tone was there again, at this point I was so annoyed I was ready to throw a spoon of toppings at her. Again, I just tried to brush it off and proceeded to make a cup of froyo. I got a considerably small portion considering I only tried two flavors and one of them I didn’t like. Maybe if I tried another flavor I would’ve gotten more. My friend asked to use the restroom and she said it was ‘shut down’. I know that happens but it was just another thing to add to the list of annoyances. Finally were enjoying our yogurt. It’s my best friend’s birthday so we’re all chatting and laughing, having a great time(only ones in there). And all of the sudden the lady announces ‘we’re closing in ten minutes so you guys need to get out by then’… As you can imagine, by this point I was soooo annoyed I wanted to go behind the counter, grab the sample cups she wouldn’t give me, fill them up, and then throw them all over the floor for her to clean. Like seriously could she have been any ruder??? I get that your about to close, but there are much more polite ways to go about communicating that. Like way to freakin kill our vibe, I’m sorry if you hate your life but please don’t take it out on some innocent customers trying to enjoy a friend’s birthday. I’m all about customer service, so to me this was the worst froyo experience I’ve ever had, thanks to the rude woman behind the counter that needs to cheer up and have a little lesson in customer service. the one star is for the yummy pumpkin pie flavor.

On my way home I stopped in at this Red Mango and it was an excellent decision. They only had six flavors(they had space for eight). It’s make-your-own for 59 cents an ounce. They have spouts for each flavor and then middle spouts to combine the flavors next to each other. It’s clean, there’s plenty of toppings, and the fruit is very fresh. The girl behind the counter was cutting up bananas while I was there. I had the mango which was tart and delicious. I mixed it with vanilla bean which was a little too sweet for my taste but worked well with the mango. Total win. For a fresh, delicious, and not ridiculously expensive visit, check out Red Mango!

Zero stats– It’s worthless to get excited over Red Mango coming to your neighborhood when it’s run like this one. First of all let’s get one thing straight they do Not close at 11; matter of fact, they don’t close at 10 either. They kind of close at any point that they feel like at any point between 9:40 — 9:59. Poorly run, poorly managed– Word to the owner: come stakeout your location. It’s a shame too, cuz our neighborhood reallllllyyy needs a reliable froyo joint. But this certainly ain’t it.

Sure, they have options and the place looks clean, but I consider myself a sort of a smoothie aficionado, and this is not the place to get them. My Citrus Mango Greens smoothie is more rocks of ice than the spinach and mango it touts and it lacks flavor. Maybe they need new blenders. The only thing I taste is the orange juice base :( I usually go for privately owned instead of these chains, and I would have today, except that it’s the 4th and most small businesses are closed.

Love Red Mango,(if you can’t tell by my checkins and Dukedoms) but I like this location because it’s larger and clean and you can serve yourself. The abundance of gluttony awww so refreshing!

Not sure how this place got so many good reviews… The flavor selection is VERY limited and half of them were out when I was there so I basically only had 2 choices. The topping selection is also pretty limited compared to other froyo spots. Service was slow even though there were only a few customers. There were no employees in sight when I walked in, so I waited for a while for someone to come up front from the back so I could pay. That said, it was a Monday evening so idk maybe it was just an off day… I’ll go to pink berry from now on instead.

Love Red Mango! I’m a big fan of froyo and they have a large number of fresh fruit choices and different kind of sweet toppings. Drawbacks: no 0% fat yogurt and not so many yogurt flavors.

Do not fall for the new pumpkin spice fall flavor. It’s yucky. Well, unless you like artificial pumpkin flavor and an overwhelming cinnamon-y after taste. Their original is my favorite and I tend to think that most of the other flavors are a bit icy in constancy. The best thing about fro yo is when you shovel some of that cold and yummy goodness in your mouth, you close your eyes and imagine that you’re actually eating ice cream. I want my fro yo creamy! So what you have to do is put a bottom layer of fro yo in one of their huge bucket sized cups and then head over to the toppings bar and pile on the goodies. Go ahead, I won’t judge. And when you throw that baby on the scale, don’t be surprised when you’re total is $ 23. Maybe you should have just bought a bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups at cvs for $ 4.99.

I love frozen yogurt and Red Mango has been one of my favorite spots to grab some since freshman year. This location isn’t super spacious and I don’t recall seeing more than a few tables, but it’s clean, which matters so much. I came in, tried a few flavors(you have to ask for the small sampling cups) and ultimately checked out with speed, unlike some other froyo places in Manhattan which I won’t name. Perfect for the area, especially if you’re heading to the park.

I happen to be obsessed with Red Mango, so, I would say it was great! Love the yogurt fruit smoothies and the self serve yogurt with choose-your-own toppings. I definitely think that their yogurt has the best flavor of all of the frozen yogurt options out there. They have more options of flavors than many of the Red Mangos out there. I usually stick with the fruity flavors and they are super accurate, flavorful and bright. This location is serving fresh fruit smoothies. I had a sample that tasted great but haven’t ordered a full serving yet. The location is right off of Flatbush and during the day, if you drive, you can pull right up and there is no problem with parking. After 5 it gets tough.

It was a beautiful gorgeous spring day and a perfect day to grab some Fro-Yo. This looks like a completely new place. Very limited with flavors. Only 8 flavors. I got the Oreo Slam Dunk and the White Chocolate flavors with some fruit. Oreo flavor was very disappointing. It taste like coffee instead. White chocolate flavor was decent. The staff was really cool. More Fro-Yo flavors PLEASE!!!

Had a great experience here, really enjoyed my frozen yogurt. I just wish the space was bigger and they had more flavors to choose from. I would definitely be coming back.

Yum — the Greek Froyo coconut is SO good. Usually, I’m not a fan of the fat free sugar free everything free frozen yogurt or ice cream. I feel like, if you’re gonna go for it, then go for it. But this was really creamy, tangy, and filling. I added some blueberries, strawberries and pineapples and it made an unexpectedly perfect lunch. The cashier was really friendly and patiently gave customers lots of small cups for tastes.

I like it, I like it, I like it. All the flavors are delicious and nutritious. They are gluten free and kosher. Fresh fruits for the healthy people and candy for those that are not. The place is so clean and the staff is extra friendly. They have protein smoothies and I was told that a juice bar is on the way. I know it is kinda cold for fro-yo but they have hot tea for your cold hands. Don’t take my word for it just try it yourself. Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself!
