Ramona made my first experience getting a Brazilian wax so much better than expected and she put my nerves at ease. I will definitely go back as well as tell friends and family.

Excellent facial! I walked out feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, and the signature facial is an excellent value compared to nearby offerings. The environment is a lovely clean new salon with modern technology (not some dingy 1950s relic of Park Ridge). Ramona uses only natural and organic products, and does a very thorough extraction that won’t leave your skin red and damaged. She provides a long relaxing European massage that is worth experiencing (and included in each facial). Her attitude is comforting Old World hospitality and prioritizes clients above all else, so I will obviously be back to enjoy her treatment again. Very knowledgeable and personable.

She is the best l have ever had. lm 58 years old an Ramona has magic in her hands, she has taken the lines out of my face, she is great at her profession, and her salon is impeccable. l love how clean she is and her products are fabulous just like Ramona. My life changed when I gave Luvu spa a try! I had some really bad experiences with getting facials done and I’ve always sworn I will never go back again. I recently finished make-​up school and I learned that great make up’s foundation is great skin. I didn’t have great skin. I didn’t even have a home regimen. The night Ramona told me that she can help me, I told her I’ve had nightmares last time I got a facial — broke out very badly, and the experience itself was very very painful. She assured me that she can and will help me. I started my first treatment in December and I was impressed with the whole thing. Ramona kept her promise and I felt a huge difference in my skin. She was very gentle, and paid close attention to every detail, not to mention her spa room is very nicely put together, it’s like being in a luxury hotel! I came back the following month, and kept coming back every month since and followed her recommended home regimen and my skin is now on its way to being great! Thank you Luvu spa for such a wonderful experience! You won’t regret coming here!!!

Ramona will give you an amazing facial. The chemical peels are just wonderful, too. You will see a big difference in your skin, especially if you have Rosacea like me. Ramona is knowledgable, professional, and warm. She makes great recommendations and the Image skincare products work beautifully. My skin has never looked so good. I highly recommend Luvu Spa!

The best facial I ever had. Since I start going there my face get a lot better because I have a problem skin. Ramona is so sweet, very patient also competent in what she is doing. Everytime I leave the spa my skin is glowing and I feel so refresh. The products she use are the best quality I just cant ask for more cuz this is the best!!! So if you like to be spoiled and take care of yourself you deffenetly should visit Luvu Spa. I look forward for my next visit :)

Luvu Spa is a hidden gem located in Studio 4 of Sola Salons in Park Ridge! The owner, Ramona, is passionate about skincare and is extremely patient and meticulous. I have had two services with her now, a Vitamin C Facial and brow treatment. The services were very reasonably-​priced, and I just can’t say enough about how wonderful I feel!
First, Ramona starts with a complete consultation and a review of your skin. I have very sensitive, Rosacea-​prone skin and she was able to design a facial to address my unique needs. She recommended the Vitamin C facial which did not irritate or make me break out (first time ever!). She is the first esthetician that did gentle extractions where I did not have noticeable irritation afterwards. My skin was dehydrated and irritated when I arrived, and it was supple and nourished when I left. Ramona keeps detailed notes on each of her clients and followed up by phone a few days later to see how I was feeling and to address any concerns (I had none!). What incredible, dedicated service! I purchased a few products (cleanser, Vitamin C serum, Vitamin C night cream, and tinted SPF) from her Image skincare line, and have been very satisfied with her recommendations.
In my second appointment, Ramona shaped my brows. I have very light, thin brows, so I have always assumed there is little anyone could do for them. Wow, was I wrong! Again, she meticulously shaped my brows which perfectly framed my eyes… what a transformation!
I am not one to load up on services, but at Luvu Spa, I feel that I am getting honest recommendations to meet my skincare needs and the prices are affordable. I am going to try a chemical peel next (never have had one!) and will report back to Unilocal.
