Jason’s Deli is good, but always expect a wait. This is by far the slowest one I have ever been too and I have lived all over. What good is a place like this if you cant get people out in 30 – 45 min? And I ordered pickup. And they messed up my order.

The catering manager. Madison, was awesome! She ensured on time delivery for a catering order for a baby shower I was hosting. I was coming in from Texas where we have always used Jason’s for events because the food is delicious! Thank you to Madison and the very efficient delivery driver. The food was delicious!

Went there with my family a few days ago and the food was very good. I’ve been to Jason’s deli many times but this was the first time I went to this location. I thought this location was better than most and that is because there salad bar was bigger with more selections. Ok gluten free and this place has a bunch of great selections.

Very Disappointed! What happened? My wife and I usually come here to eat healthy and have the salad bar. The salad bar is rsa rather small, but fresh. I guess they are cutting back. No more hard boiled eggs, cauliflower, and a few other veggies. Good thing we checked it out before we ordered. So I had the New York Yankee sandwich instead, which was pretty tasteless and came with some chips that looked like they came from the bottom of the bag. My wife elected to have the Grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of tomatoe soup. The soup wss barely warm. Guess we wont be coming here again!

If you’re on the hunt for mind-blowingly good food that’s not like anything you’ve ever tasted before then be prepared because… you won’t find it here. Psych! Don’t have a conundrum on me, though, because it’s still good quality food that acts as a great option for lunch, especially if you want something quick but don’t want to feel like you just took a bath in a pool of grease. Each of the items are fairly healthy and won’t leave you with regret after eating them. I’ve, of course, been to many Jason’s Delis in my lifetime and I’ve had many of the entrees, some of the most memorable being the chicken alfredo, Santa Fe panini and the gumbo which I had on my most recent visit. You can pretty much expect a satisfactory amount of food — not too much and not too little, but remember you can load up with the free muffins and condiments by the salad bar. Yes, dammit –they’re free and so is the ice cream(in chocolate, vanilla vanilla and swirl flavors). This location is very big(ad are many of the others) and it has a nicely fenced-in, elevated patio that overlooks the downtown area of Park Ridge. It’s also by a Trader Joe’s and several other errand-worthy places so you can grab a quick bite to eat and be on your way, doing what you have to do.

I’ve been coming here since this place opened and unfortunately it’s been on a slow decline. People now just come in here to take advantage of «free» salad bar. But I suppose it’s ok that people sneak the salad bar without paying for it, since nothing is labeled, so you don’t know what you’re getting. The fountain drinks are also on the honor system and, well, most people aren’t honorable. The family of six that came in fifteen minutes after us just got their sandwiches before I got my one. They used to pride themselves on customer service here, but that seems to have gone by the wayside.

First time I’ve ever been to a Jason’s deli. I was not impressed. It has a super limited menu with nothing on it that jumps out at you. I was kind of disappointed when I read other Unilocal reviews that stated you get free ice cream? Was that even advertised at the store? Definitely missed that one. Too over priced too for something you can easily make at home. I forgot what it was called but got the pork sandwich with cashew butter and jelly — I would usually never order an odd mix like that, but again — the menu was limited. I didn’t enjoy these flavored mixed together at all… Staff was nice. But food — never again please.

Had their chili. It has no beans, just meat. It’s pretty good. What I like most about this place is that they have BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating. On a nice day it’s a good place to come to eat your food outside and see the beautiful downtown of park ridge. The reason for only four stars is because they are kinda pricey for a soda and cup of chili.

This is a pretty solid place for lunch or a light-ish dinner. I’ve been here on numerous occasions with co-workers for lunch and with friends for a laid back dinner. The line can get kinda long at peak hours, but it moves quickly when there are 2 cashiers. Once you order, you’re given a number and you go have a seat. A worker will bring the food out to you, and usually rather quickly, within 5 – 10 minutes or so. While you wait, you can have the cornbread or crackers from the salad bar for no extra charge. I typically order the Mediterranean wrap, which comes with fruit, and it is more than enough for me. Do try the fruit dip, its delicious. And of course, don’t forget to have some free soft serve ice cream for dessert. There’s vanilla, chocolate, and a vanilla-chocolate twist available. You can put it in a cup or there are cones there. I’m not a huge chocolate fan, but my friends love the dark chocolate syrup to put on top of their ice cream. Oh, and i signed up for their email notifications and got a $ 5 off coupon in my birthday month. It made for an inexpensive lunch that day.

Jason’s Deli is not a cheap lunch. But, at the same time they don’t skimp on the meat. I’ve gotten a few different sandwiches from here since they’ve open and i’ve always had to make the second half into another meal. That’s basically what i want in a good sandwich lots of juicy meat piled high. Right? Unfortunately this last time the guy making my sandwich nuked the heck out of my meat. Made it dried out like shoe leather. Even the free icecream couldn’t make up for that fault. I was highly disappointed. I usually would have given this place 4 stars. I hope it doesn’t happen again because i’d hate to have to downgrade them further.

In a world populated by McDonald’s, Taco Bell and their brethren, Jason’s Deli is a gastronomical godsend to parents concerned with healthy eating. Jason’s offers healthy choices and entrees. The menu is highlighted with plenty of vegetarian, gluten-sensitive and organic options. Nothing made with artificial colors or dyes, trans fats or high fructose corn syrup. But there is appealing food: sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastas, muffulettas. Kids’ menu choices include(antibiotic-free and gluten-free) chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, all-beef hot dog, PB&J, pizza and pasta dishes. But really, the best reason to eat here is: free ice cream for dessert!

Has a great lunch experience at this location. I would recommend for anyone to try the ranchero wrap but try it with turkey as opposed to chicken. It does have jalapeños so it’s a bit spicy but it’s so good. The staff is very accommodating and the customer service is exceptional. The best part is that you get a free ice cream cone all the time after your meal.

Someone from my job suggested this place and we ordered from here. They told about the corn beef sandwiches being«fiyah». That means really tasty for those that dont follow. Anyway thats what I ordered. A cornbeef on croissant with mustard, lettuce, cheese and tomatoe. I wanted provolone cheese but got american. Yea. they gave me the wrong cheese and still get 5 stars. The sandwiches are huge. They give you heaps of meat. The corned beef was. sooo good. i just kept minimizing my sanwich by eating the meat. Its fresh and not salty and just Guud! The sandwich comes with kettle cooked chips or soup, a slice of pickle and a mint. Theres even free ice cream but I skipped that today. Its cold enough out. I heard the soups are good too. My boss had the chicken chili and he loved it. Im going back. Gonna try the downtown location.

My friend Randy and I have been knocking about a bit, having lunch at different places. This restaurant is a thoughtful franchise setup that has comfortable seating and easy sit-down for enjoying lunch. Randy had the Rueben; I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup special. Randy clearly made the better choice. The ‘average’ sized sandwich was nicely sized and nicely toasted. The few special requests were noted and done. The restaurant has friendly folks there who keep the food coming, you happy and the place clean. So, I’d say go traditional deli – avoid the grilled cheese – the grilled cheese is more of a kid thing in terms of holding one’s interest. Rating? Grilled cheese A-OK = Unilocal 3 stars.

I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s just so-so. In an attempt to be healthy I ordered a turkey wrap. Do not recommend. There was literally 1 – 2 slices of turkey that I couldn’t taste and everything else in the wrap were the exact things from the salad bar. Dry and tasteless. Don’t order it. You’re better off getting a corned beef or pastrami sandwich. I have had it really good and I’ve also had it bad. A couple of times the meat was super fatty, and a couple of times the corned beef tasted. off. I know corned beef is a hit or miss when you go to any deli or even making it at home. Sometimes you get a good cut of meat and sometimes, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I’ve had a good sandwich from here though. I had a pot roast sandwich once, and it was pretty good. I’ve gotten the salad bar several times and I like it. It’s an OK place to grab a quick bite locally. Occasionally though, because I wouldn’t want to go more than a couple times a month.

I was in Park Ridge today around lunch with a taste for soup so I started looking for a Panera. Then I saw Jason’s Deli. I’ve been to the Jason’s Deli in Palatine several times(it’s now closed), so I thought it would be a good place to stop. It was just after the lunch crunch so I got right up to the register and ordered a bowl of chicken soup. This is how the conversation went: me – «I’d like a bowl of chicken soup, with a drink.» – REGISTERREADS«Salad Bar, Soup» me – «No, not a salad, just soup.» guy — «Do you want to get a cup?» me – «No, a bowl» guy — «Cause you can save a $ 1 if you get a cup» me – «This is all I’m getting to eat so I want a bowl.» guy — «What type of soup do you want?» me – «Chicken noodle.» guy — «Just a bowl of chicken soup?» me – «Yes, and a drink.» – REGISTERREADS, «Salad Bar, Soup» me – «I don’t want salad. All I want is a bowl of chicken soup.» guy — «You didn’t say salad bar?» me – «No, just soup and a drink» guy — «Your number is 229» So I sit down to wait for my order, but I’m thinking, «He didn’t give me a number card to post at my table, how will the food runners know where the chicken soup goes?» Well I was sitting right by where they serve the food so I just kept watching for them to make a bowl of soup. After about 8 minutes I got up and said, «All I ordered was a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I am number 229.» The food guy said, «They never called out your number…» So he made me the chicken soup. I took a picture of it because it looked like swamp water. At first I thought they gave me split pea. I think I found a piece or two of chicken in it. It actually had more dumplings than noodles or chicken. It was tasty, but definitely not what I remember chicken noodle soup to be.(Check out pictures, I took one of my soup.)
