They have a new name and owner… It’s Jade’s but they have same phone number. Service was great, really friendly… Food is awesome… Mongolian beef was great and my gf said sauce for sweet and sour chicken was the best she’s had …, this is now my favorite place in Park Ridge for Chinese take out

worst experience ordering chinese food ever ! kung pao chicken has soggy meat that looks like it was boiled with no flavor. Chowmein is not a traditional egg noodle dish but chicken beansprouts and vegetables in broth with crispy wontons to garnish ! if i could give this place –5 stars i would ! worst tasteless chinese food I’ve ever had.

OMG! This place is great! Fast take out only with excellent non-​greasy big portions great priced Chinese food.

OMG! I love this place! I have tried other Chinese places and this is one is my favorite! Price is just right!
The crab ragoon is simply AMAZING! I used to get the egg roles but I feel like they changed them they are to salty now for some reason. but the crab ragoon makes up for it! I love how the food is always hot when it’s delivered! Love LOVE LOVE this place! Must try!

LEGIT! General Tao’s Beef, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Crab Rangoons, and Egg Rolls all were AWESOME! My wife got the Veggie Lo-​mein with tofu — not my cup of tea, but she was a fan. Definitely my favorite place in the area.

I LOVE this place, I’ve literally tried every Chinese place around Rosemont, des plains and park ridge and this place is BOMB! The crab rangoons are to die for! The service is great and delivery is fast. I order from here at least once a week

Ordered food there this past Saturday night, after it was recommended by the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. The food took almost 1 hour to arrive, and when it did the order was wrong. Called the restaurant, and even after multiple calls and over 30 minutes on the phone, they refused to send the correct order without charging us for another meal, even though we had paid for the item that was missing the first time, and gave a sizeable tip. Girl on the phone was very hard to understand, extremely rude, and refused to contact her manager, or have manager call me for a resolution to send the correct order, or to refund the money for the dish I paid for and that was never delivered. A nightmare, made worse by the fact that we were only in town for the night, and just wanted a nice, quick meal.

Second time ordering from here. SOOOOOO SORRY I did it twice! Not impressed at all! Work close, not alot of time for lunch so I tried it. The first time the egg rolls turned me off! No taste, not crunchy! Today I decided to give them another try, not sure what I was thinking still NOT impressed. Shrimp Fried rice is blad and mushy. ICK! Egg rolls still have no taste, Wonton soup was gross, falvorless and in dark brown broth… what is that??? Will never order from here again!!! Unless my taste buds suddenly die and I am starving. If you want REALLY GOOD Chinese food trek over to Des Plaines and visit House of Szechwan on the corner of Mt. Prospect Rd and NW Highway. That is how you do good, affordable Chinese food!!! China House will get no stars form me or my business!

I placed an order for delivery and the food arrived within the time frame I was given. The portions were good and were given free egg rolls for having an order over $ 25. I didn’t expect that and it was quite the treat. The chicken was a bit chewy but that is expected from most Chinese restaurants.

I had never ordered from here before but honestly I don’t see myself ordering again any time soon. The rice was amazing. My boyfriend and I would agree if your looking for rice this is one of the best places to get it. However I ordered a few different things of chicken sort and honestly it all tasted the same. Kung Pao to Chicken and Broccoli it all tasted the same. There was maybe a slight kick but nothing to special. I love Chinese food and have had it from many places all over the states. Normally when you get something hot its hot. This was more like a splash of heat. Not what we wanted. My boyfriend and I spent over $ 40 on food and honestly all we really wanted to eat was the Rice after we tried everything. The Crab Rangoon isn’t that bad either. Very creamy, so creamy in fact that i had to have a drink near by. Very friendly staff who were accommodating because of my allergies.

A pretty good choice for quick Chinese food in the Park Ridge area. Definitely take out only — there is no place to sit except a place to wait if your food isn’t ready when you arrive.
I ordered the kung pao shrimp combination dinner, which was a lot of of food for about $ 7 — fried rice, shrimp dish, and hot and sour soup (you have your choice of eggroll, soup, or crab rangoon). With my order and my husband’s order combined, plus some almond cookies, we got 2 free eggrolls. Perfect, one to go with the ton of food I had leftover for lunch the next day.
We did have a small mishap. When we were given our order and drove off, we received a call that we had not been given a bag containing my husband’s steamed white rice. We appreciated the quick notice and turned back around immediately. We were given a free order of eggrolls for the oversight. It was much appreciated.
Food was ready fast, and was hot and flavorful. Not sure if this wins as our go-​to Chinese restaurant just yet, but it does warrant another try to see.

I love China house! They have great value lunch specials although they just recently raised prices by a dollar so its $ 5.95 now. They have delicious crab rangoon and egg rolls. I love love love there pad Thai it is so very good with the lemons on top. and i would recommend the sesame chicken. they always deliver so FAST and its cheap. they are on
now as well to.

I write this as more of a warning than a review. Ive ordered from this place a few times and twice I have been very specific about ordering vegetable egg rolls because i have a severe shrimp allergy. Well, twice they have negligently sent shrimp eggrolls which caused dangerous allergic reaction. They do not pay attention to specific orders and their neglect could cause a serious medical emergency. The first time I called to complain and thought it was just a mistake however this last time made me reaalize they just dont pay attention. So just beware when they say its vegetable dont take their word for it. I will never eat here again.

Gave this place another chance and ordered for delivery. They are less than one mile from my office and yet it took an hour for them to deliver the food. I will say they gave me a humongous portion of fried rice, but it was salty. I will be looking for another Chinese restaurant to give my business.

The «dining room» or lobby was awful. I can’t believe I still ordered after my first impression. That said, the food was great. Fresh, tasty, and hot. Order it for delivery so you don’t have to go inside.

So disappointed in the service. Placed a delivery order, normally 20 – 30 minute delivery. After an hour I called and the phone was answered by an extremely rude lady. Told me they were «very busy» when I asked about my order. I asked how much longer and couldn’t get a response. Finally, she admitted our food was ready but they were waiting for the delivery man and it would be another 15 – 20 minutes. Had to cancel the order as I have 3 kids waiting for dinner. Will never order here again.

Horrible service. We ordered and were told 35 min for pickup. Sounded like a good wait time considering its Christmas. So, I go to pick it up, 35 min later and it’s still not ready. There were 6 other people waiting, all aggravated. So, after twenty more minutes. I walked out. I couldn’t take the poor customer service nor how rude the woman at the desk was. I did not even pay/​take the food home because they were unapologetic, rude and could care less about my business. Several people were there and aggrivated. All of this would have been solved if she would had been upfront that it would be ready in an hour or whatnot.

Worst experience in the entire world.
We placed a delivery order at 6:45 on a Saturday, and they told us it would be 45 min No problem right? Well we were wrong. We only ordered steamed dumplings, soup, chicken with broccoli, and beef with broccoli. After an hour and 15 minutes we called to see where our food was. The woman answered the phone with YEAH! Excuse me, but that is not appropriate. We hung up and called again. Another woman answered the phone and I asked where our food was. She asked me what my address was three times and told me it would be another 20 – 25 min. There is no way that they even put the order in. I told them to keep the food, and we ordered Chopstick Express (our usual spot)
We will never bother to try this place again. The people are rude and have no idea what they are doing.
Stay away!

–Their crab rangoon are huge! Very well filled and about the size of pigs ears.

Cons & reason for only 2 stars:
The menu says they do not use MSG. This may be true, but they definitely use something else, for in minutes after eating the pork & broccoli, I noticed I was quickly becoming dehydrated, and water wasn’t helping. That night, I experienced a migraine so severe that I saw spots while asleep, and the pain kept waking me up. I took an Excedrin-​Migraine the next day to help with the pain, but even 3 days later, my brain still hurts.
I won’t eat from a place I can’t trust, so we won’t be returning to China House Park Ridge.
