Came in for a blow out last month based on some word of mouth recommendations. Sadly, I was really disappointed. I had a terrible blowout. The stylist was pleasant, but my hair looked frizzy and unfinished. I ended up having to go home and try to fix it myself with a curling iron. Waste of money :(

I relocated to the Chicago area a little over two years ago and went through a several hair salons and stylists before finding my perfect match, Jenny, at Blown Away. She’s not only very knowledgeable and professional, but sweet, honest, and easy to talk to. Jenny’s very skilled with coloring, cutting, and especially flat ironing my massive amount of hair. I have so much confidence in Blown Away I requested Jenny and Denise be there there on my wedding day to make sure my hair looked perfect and it did! They’re a really fun group, give back to the community, and have a lot of holiday spirit. My husband also gets his cuts here too!

I have been a customer of Carmen’s for years. I have changed salons and have followed Carmen to wherever she moved. The staff is friendly and helpful and I have never been unhappy with my results. Carmen is the one you want to see for color and a cut. She’s great and I highly recommend her!
