If I could leave no stars I would. We took our vehicle in because of grinding & a differential leak from the left back wheel. They called us the next day with a quote of $ 1400 for a new hub assembly & axel. After talking to 2 other auto mechanics over the phone we decided that this sounded fishy. We had a friend help us pull it off and correctly diagnose it. When we got the vehicle home and started pulling the wheel off we discovered the wheel had not been tightened back on properly. When we got into the hub and axel we found that the axel was not only in pristine condition but the mechanic had clearly not even pulled all of the parts off to get that far and correctly diagnose the vehicle(which he charged us $ 90 to do) After buying a new seal & bearing we fixed the problem…$ 250 later. This mechanic is clearly an incompetent crook, beware!
