We arrived to a very nice welcome, after that he lifted up his hat and scratched his sweaty head with his gloves on then proceeded to make our food. We had to stop him and kindly ask him to change his gloves. Then the girl fixing our potatoes had super long hair that dangled in our sour cream and she kept rubbing her nose. Big waste of 40 dollars lost my appetite. Not sure we will return, plus the woman after us was looking for a potato and of course they were out. Stupid due to the fact that a huge bag of potatoes cost 10 bucks at the most.

The meat was cold on our two plate meal and service was very poor. One employee was drinking beer in the seating area while one person tried to serve a line of people. Later called that employee to help. Two other employees suddenly appeared from somewhere to help. Disappointing

Salty, salty, salty… way too salty!!! I tried the three item plate. Ham was ok. Sausage was not very hot Brisket was kinda dry Beans were ok Crispy onion things were inedible. So salty I tried two and asked for a fresh batch. Second batch was also way too salty. Why? It destroyed everything. They offered to make me a third batch but I passed… I was done with the onion stringy things. I go to P. C every winter. I won’t be back here. If I want bbq, I’ll go to Bandits on Main Street. Free soft serve but it tasted like ice milk. Boring. Ok…I’m done now.

Basic rule of food service: If you think you have the flu or food poisoning, you shouldn’t be behind the counter with food. It’s extremely disconcerting to sit down and eat your food, then a moment later the employee who was behind the counter comes out to lie down in the corner, clearly ill, then verbally communicate the idea that she has been feeling very sick and thinks she has food poisoning or the flu. I sympathize with being sick, that isn’t the employee’s fault, but they should in now way be behind the counter near my food. If I get sick now, at least I know who to blame. The food tasted okay while I started eating it, but immediately went sour when I saw what had occurred.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for something quick for the kiddos. What a great find! We love BBQ and easy, family friendly meals. The adults had a big and late lunch, so we really just wanted to feed the children. Ordered pulled pork, Mac n cheese, waffle fries, and chicken fingers(they were dinosaur shaped — fun). Even though we were full, we sampled everything and it was all good. Kids were happy and ate it all up! Also they have a self-serve free ice cream machine! Will definitely be back

Fast food barbecue. Chain style. Not bad. Do note I compare it to the BBQ places that win the top awards. If you don’t know BBQ, this will do. If you do, you will find it falls short. I have ordered just protein(brisket) on my high pro days — and you can order just a ¼ lb or ½ lb. D.

Hint: If your sliced beef looks like chopped beef… It’s not«Super Tender». I’m not a pit master but I could tell you that that’s what we call«Burnt». Don’t tell me you sliced it the best you could when I ask if it was sliced or chopped. It’s burnt. Telling me you did the best you can but it is super tender, tells me you’re serving me crap, but I caught you. Avoid this place.

PC Local and BBQ snob. Good BBQ, but not 5 stars. C’mon. The pulled pork is 4 star at best,(at least its, not smothered in sauce.) The pricing for the portion drops it to 3 stars. Not much choice at the junction if you want bbq and Spencers in PC has an even worse price/portion ratio. Sugar House is the best flavor/portion/price combo, but you have to go to SLC.

Can’t beat the daily deals and the Big Barbecue sandwich. The free ice cream doesn’t hurt either.

This place is brand new. Nice to have something different in the junction. The food and service are great. The daily specials are the best way to go and kids even eat free on Sunday’s. For a side try the onion tanglers.

The food is fantastic, the place is clean and the service friendly. The place was short staffed but it wasn’t a problem.

If our experience was based solely on the food and how it tasted, a much higher score would be deserved, unfortunately there were other aspects we dealt with. I did a take-out order online and received a confirmation that our order would be ready in 15 minutes, great! However, when I arrived the food was not ready. They said they wanted to make sure our waffle fries were made right when I arrived instead of sitting(sounds reasonable) but that does not make any excuse for the mac n cheese not to be ready, the meat not sliced, etc. I had to wait about 25 minutes(after I arrived) for the food to finally be ready. While waiting one party of 6 – 7 stood in line for about 5 minutes and when no one helped them, finally left. Keep in mind only one table was in use in the restaurant, so they were not slammed. I was offered to have my meal comp’d as I received my food(and wait longer?!? no thanks!). Unfortunately I won’t be ordering again anytime soon as the process was so unreliable. Bummer because we liked the food.
