By far this is my favorite Tommy Hilfiger in the NJ and NY area. The store is always organize and the staff members are super helpful and knowledgable. I think Tommy is making a comeback. While Mr. Hilfiger himself, may not be the CEO anymore, he still acts as a creative consultant for the brand.
I do miss the Lion Crest logo and I hope they bring that back one day, but if this store is an indication of where the brand is headed, then they are in great shape. The clothes are comparable to the Gap as far as comfort and quality is concerned. The items here are nothing you would find at their Company Store a Bergen Towne Center.
The employees are friendly and professional. I think consumers haven’t fully gained trust in the brand yet, so the store doesn’t see as much traffic as it should. In its heydey, Hilfiger was a premium brand, on par with Polo Ralph Lauren, but could not retain its market strength through 2000 – 2010.
Now they’re on the rise. You should definitely check this place out now. The store is located next to Abercrombie & Fitch. I’ve made several purchases from here already (blazers). Their clearance rack is stocked with inventory and dressing rooms are kept in pristine condition.
