Fabulous Locks Hair Extensions

I made the rash decision to cut my wavy long hair about a year and a half ago after a stress filled year looking for a change, and immediately regretted it. I felt so much happier with my long hair — cutting it was just a way for me to «feel» something. The end result was me going on a year long mission to grow it back out, which was NOT moving as quickly as anticipated! That’s when Stephanie came into my life; she is an absolute miracle worker! She is very professional, made sure to confirm all appointments in advance, was right on time, answered all of my questions (believe me, I had a lot), and helped me decide what would be best for my hair and lifestyle. She paid very close attention to my questions and needs, and was extremely informative on all the different extension methods. I was so lucky to be able to get my amazing custom raw hair (never processed) extensions that same week! The time spent getting my new hair flew by, it was like talking to a friend I’ve had for years. She went over in detail the aftercare process and how to maintain these amazing new locks! Stephanie is truly a master of her craft, I would never trust anyone more than her! She is very passionate about what she does, innovative, driven, and I can tell from knowing her for just this short time — she loves making people feel better about themselves and her goal is to make you feel beautiful and smile! I went out that night and received so many compliments on my hair! It’s seamless and absolute perfection! Thank you again Fabulous Locks!

Stephanie changed my life 8 months ago. I was growing my hair out, those of you who have delt with that frustration understand the process. I was at the point where I was going to cut my hair again because I couldn’t deal with the «awkward» stage. That’s where Stephanie came in. I have been in the beauty industry for 14 years, so when I say Stephanie is an extremely talented extension professional, I know what I am talking about. I have been complemented by other professionals who work at local renowned salons– in Montclair and Summit. I am so happy to call her my hair girl! She rocks.

Stephanie, you took the time to post your comments. But when I text you, you didn’t ans to me, as a matter fact the reason I’m complaining about you is. You charge almost $ 400 for the. Pieces of hair I post. And when I send you this pictures about the 2 different extensions you didn’t ans me, and in top of that I pay you $ 260 for the
wasn’t free for you to put in my head those hand made pieces. of hair you put on me than you know you can’t put those back. If you didn’t have enough hair should should be more professional and tell me instead of fool me. So I will repeat myself one more time, who ever wanna go to you my advise is for them to buy the hair and you install them. In top of it her price is high… is professionals Out there can do better job and less expensive., I found out the hard way …

Not truthful.
I was very excited to get hair extensions by Stephanie as she had some good before and after photos but no positive reviews on Unilocal (Just one negative and no user-​submitted photos.)
I read her website up & down & all over and the first part of the FAQ section says, «First you would contact Fabulous Locks… and schedule a FREE consultation appointment.» All over her Facebook & Instagram page she writes about «Scheduling your Free Consultation Appointment». I was very excited for my free consultation appointment, as I’ve never had hair extensions, don’t have any friends who have them, and had some good questions for her about the whole process, costs, etc. Stephanie confirmed my appointment through text right away and gave me all the info (or so I had thought).
Fast forward 10 days, My appointment was for 12 PM last Saturday, and 9 AM that morning I get a text-​message confirmation from Stephanie who tells me, «.and the consultation is free if you decide to use our services and $ 50 if you do not.» Three hours before my appointment you’re going to now tell me that it will cost me $ 50 if I choose not to go through?
Don’t get me wrong, I was really excited to go through with it. But I thought it was terribly unprofessional to throw that missing bit of information 3 hours before my apt. Not only was it missing info, it was exactly the opposite of the «Free Consultation» she posts about all over the internet. She could have told me 10 days prior when we made the apt, and she could have even told me the DAY before! It seemed sneaky especially since ALL over her website, Facebook, and Instagram, it says «FREE CONSULTATION APPOINTMENT». With no provisions or addendum anywhere. I thought that was not a professional way to run a business, raised red flags, and for that reason alone, I cancelled.

I have had my hair extensions done by Stephanie for almost a year now, she is very professional and explained the whole process in depth. I get compliments every day on how great my hair looks (no one knows it’s extensions) and can’t imagine life without them. She comes to you which is great when you have kids and can’t leave the house for hours at a time. She knows her stuff and you can tell she has a passion for hair and truly looks to please the clients.
Yes things happen with hair nothing is perfect in life but Stephanie will

Something goes wrong she will be there with a smile to fix any problems!!!
