Flowers by Priscilla

AMAZING! I loved everything about my experience. My flowers were so beautiful, they were so helpful, they stayed to make sure everything went well. Such sweet people, I was truly blown away.

Priscilla was my florist for my wedding September 19^th at Morris Arboretum and did an excellent job. I would consider myself pretty anal retentive regarding tablescapes. Some brides are most concerned with their dresses, others are most concerned with the food, and then there is me… tablescape. We did 2 mock up tables before the wedding to make sure everything looked exactly the way I wanted it to. She did a great job. As far as her not getting back to you it can be a little annoying but if you don’t mind doing that and want to save a few hundred dollars then I would use her.

I ordered the «FTD Light of My Life Bouquet». What got delivered was a bunched up wilting set of 4 different flowers of different colors which did not even represent or resemble the picture or the description! They have a disclaimer permitting them to substitute flowers if not available but NONE of the flowers even matched. And worst of all, even the arrangement did not look like whats in the photo. I understand if some flowers are not avail but at the very least, they shld attempt to make the arrangement look the same. Flowers were also not fresh and wilted the very next morning. Buyer beware… dont expect to get what you see on their website or even expect professionally looking arrangements!

Out of all of my vendors, Priscilla was the weakest. Four days after my wedding, and I still don’t have a final balance. I should have known better. Months before my wedding, I’d email and call and weeks would go by without an answer. Being the calm bride that I was I wrongly waited until a week before to finally call and demand a rate and photo of the candelabra – what I got was a disaster. In fact, it wasn’t until I said cancel my order, and give me a refund that Priscilla got with the program. She completely forgot the rose flower petal down the aisle (though I’m sure whenever I get the final invoice it will be on there. To think, she had to the nerve to stop me, at my wedding, while I was in my wedding dress to request payment. When I said, you never gave me a final balance, and I can’t deal with this at the moment she was stunned (so was I). She also called me on the day of to talk about questions — um, take a note from the other venues and get it done before hand.
I love supporting small and local businesses, this was one that I shouldn’t have. The candelabras did turn out to be very nice in the end – but so not worth the stress (or Priscilla’s comment about how they cost her so much money). The bridesmaid’s bouquets were average and wrapped in that tacky plastic balloon ribbon.
Flowers by Priscilla is disorganized, unprofessional, but the people are nice and I do believe they mean well. You just can’t depend on them on such a big day. Maybe there will be an update if and when I get my final invoice which I’ve been requesting for the last month.
Update: 11/​27/​2012 I got a call from Priscilla about my balance, I asked for an invoice – 2 more weeks later and NO INVOICE. You’d think they’d at least want to ve paid.

At first glance, everything around was dead and uninspiring for flowers.
That’s because this place gets SO BUSY (maybe because it is the end of prom season), but Priscilla herself helped me out (A guy, dont know much about flowers), showed her a picture and she helped set me up, going to a fresh truck where there BEAUTIFUL arrangements everywhere.
As she was helping me out, she was helping others, getting me through the door past all the prom moms in what felt like a breeze.
Oh, and the flowers were beautiful too. Highly recommended for anyone on the Main Line wanting something either custom or unique, they will work with you and get you on your way fast

We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Priscilla’s for our wedding. They were professional, courteous, and really listened to what we wanted and needed. They were familiar with the area, which was really nice because they knew our venue and were able to help us brainstorm ideas.
They were also flexible. We had rain on our wedding day, and they were up early to ask us about rain plans and just adjusted their schedule and plans. They also were kind enough to come to where I was getting ready and have me give the «ok» on the corsages, bouquets, and table settings before they went to give them out and set up.
And the flowers were just gorgeous! They did a spectacular arch for the ceremony, original bouquets, tasteful corsages, and perfect table settings.
Prices were quite reasonable compared to other florists in the area. Recommend them without hesitation!
