The Reel Contender

A friend and I took our sons out for their first deep sea fishing trip. Weather was questionable all week. Captain Dave is not pushy. He wants you to have a great time and be safe. Says you just can’t do that in bad weather.
We took a chance and went. The fishing was great. I bet the kids caught 50 fish between them. Some white snapper, undersized ambers, and some red snapper. The weather got bad in a hurry so had to cut it short, but a great time was had by all. Captain Dave and his mate are truly an honest and professional team to fish with. They were great with my family. Will definitely be calling him when I return to the area.

Simply amazing. Captain David delivered on all promises at a price that was hard to beat. Easy to set up and there is no deposit (at least with our trip). His view was that he did not want to feel to ‘forced’ to go out if the weather was questionable… I agree.
We set out in the morning for our 4 hour tour. Our drop in the water and we had two on simultaneously. This went on for 4 hours. Simply amazing.
Nothing required except maybe some drinks, hat, sun screen and a sense of fun. The Captain and his first mate made us feel welcome and even when we did something stupid, helped us and took no digs at us even though it was our first time ocean fishing.
He provided bait, licenses, rods/​reels, and all the fishing holes you could imagine.
After, his first mate cleaned the fish, packed them in our coolers, gave us some advice as to how to prepare a few of the types of fish and we were on our way.
This was amazing. If you are looking for charter fishing in PCB, give Captain David a quick email. He will follow up quickly and before you know it, you are trying to figure out how to fly two coolers of fish back home.
