Green Oaks is a good place contrary to a few reviews. The majority of the people who complain about their office miss one fact. The rent is reduced due to a federal program. If you opt out of that program and pay the higher rent. The paperwork requirements become much much easier. Though that is silly. Once your in its just a matter of getting bank statements and proof of employments on a yearly basis. Just remember the government is sticklers if you want the discount you just have to put up with it. The service department side of things though could be better. I also have stove issues still waiting on a workable fix they have repair it two times. Just old equipment. I am almost to the point that if they offer me a rent discount for a month I will buy a new one myself. That said they have always answered my calls fast even though they have not fixed the problems fast. So far no neighbor problems. and the worst common area problem I have seen is burned out light bulbs a few times in the hall.

The worst apartment in Palos Hills. Extremely ghetto and waste of time. Beware they have strict and ridiculously stupid laws. And if u don’t make everything perfect to rent this dumb apartment with ur name address birthday everything has to be correct even middle name on ID. This place is prison. Never again! Renters Beware!

Awful communication within the office. I had my ceiling fall apart and leak water all over my living room carpet. The maintenance guys put a patch on. A few months later came home from work to find the exact same spot in the ceiling fell apart and water was leaking in from the roof again. When I called maintenance they had no sense of urgency and said«well you’re not the only one, multiple tenants are having this problem.» Well then maybe literally fixing the roof over my head should be a priority.
