It is never a joyous occasion when you have to walk through the doors of a Funeral Home, there is nothing they can do to make the situation better but they need to avoid making it worse.
I attended a wake here yesterday for the father of a former coworker. From the outside, it seemed like an odd location for a funeral home as it is in a strip mall. Once I entered the strip mall disappeared and it was a sanctuary of quiet and calm. Everything was professional and soothing.
The facility seemed very new and made a bad situation as good as it could be.
