Teresa Nauenberg, MD, MPH

Great PCP. I’ve been going to her for several years. I greatly appreciate her accessibility, knowledge, skill, and «bedside manner». She’s easy to talk with. I recommend her without qualification.
Her background pre-​medicine is as an engineer. She has all the advantages of an engineering approach without seeming like an engineer at all.

Dr. Nauenberg has been my PCP since about 2001 and she’s been great. I would say she is superb 90% of the time and merely good the other 10% of the time, so that averages out to GREAT. Strong medical knowledge and good people skills.
Is she really «As good as it gets!»? I haven’t had any other PCPs long enough to say for sure (other than the pediatrician I saw growing up), so there might be some better internal medicine docs out there that I haven’t met. But I definitely rate her 5 stars on Unilocal

I was randomly assigned Dr. Nauenberg as my new physician when I moved to the area and called Palo Alto Medical Foundation (which is great, too, by the way). I was truly lucky. Though I came in for one small thing, she made sure that I was up-​to-​date with everything, as she recognized that I had just moved and hadn’t had a primary care physician in awhile. She gave me recommendations that I needed and, with my consent, set me up with an appointment for a full physical. She was genuinely concerned with my well-​being. I appreciated how thorough she was, and it saved me the hassle and stress of trying to find specialists and wonder about whether I was current on my medical requirements. Moreover, I trust her opinion and expertise. I was not at all surprised to see another positive review for Dr. Nauenberg on Unilocal

I am so lucky to have Dr. Nauenberg as my primary care doctor! Especially since there is a waiting list for her services! Not only is she warm and caring and personable, she is creative with her approaches in helping solve my problems. And best of all, she is quick and responsive with email questions, something not all doctors do, even at the Palo Alto Clinic where we pay a fee to have this service. Dr. Nauenberg is a dream doctor! I hope my daughter, Stephanie, who is going through medical school now, will be like Dr. Nauenberg.
