It was with a heavy heart that I dropped off my dry cleaning at Lytton Cleaners. After reading all the really negative reviews on Unilocal I was doing this against my better judgement, but it was this or battle traffic going somewhere further away, and in the end my laziness won out. The woman who runs the front counter was really friendly and chatty. So far so good. But then I got my cleaning back, and my mind was blown. On one blouse there were a few small stains that I had given up on a couple cleanings ago after having taken them to other cleaners. I didn’t even bother pointing them out to the lady at Lytton Cleaners. But when I got my cleaning back I realize that each and every one of those pesky spots had disappeared. All the other items were beautifully cleaned and pressed. I will definitely be coming back here again. Only drawback is the prices, which are a little high. But, hey, Lytton Cleaners is in a prime spot and they have to pay the rent.

Do not take your shirts to be cleaned here. It’s nearby so I gave it a try. All of my shirts came back with either tags hard stapled or MARKEDWITH A PERMANENTMARKER! Sure, it’s small and on the inside at the bottom of the buttoning area, but that’s no excuse for permanently defacing the shirts you’re supposed to be cleaning.

I’ll never go back. Super expensive. I paid 37 dollars for them to dry clean an h&m peacoat. The staff are rude. The guy who took my clothes rolled his eyes at me. I wouldn’t even give the one star unless Unilocal required it.

$ 15 is a bit expensive for just a casual jacket, but they did a good job. I feel bad for Lytton Cleaners… it seems the only people that leave reviews here are the few disgruntled customers. They didn’t loose my clothes, my jacket isn’t small or discolored, and the guy(the owner I think?) quickly(and politely) rung me up. I’ll come back.

Wish I would’ve consulted Unilocal before going. The first time it took him 30 minutes to find my clothes, and I was in a hurry. In fact, *I* found them when I came behind the counter and started looking as well. Further, he didn’t provide any sort of discount for my wasted time. Also, this place is ridiculously expensive. I didn’t see any clearly posted pricing, but every place I“ve been to is at least $ 2 cheaper per item. Do not go here, a short drive anywhere else will be worth it.

I used to live next door to this place and would use them on a weekly basis for dry cleaning and alterations. I was such a loyal customer for almost three years! What happened you ask? Oh, I’ll tell you. One time they lost my Tahari jacket only to eventually find it. My last straw was I got a pair of pants hemmed and it came undone the next day. I brought them back. The guy who works/owns it said he would redo them for free. Picked them up again. Next day they came undone AGAIN! This dude refused to fix them for me again and then had the nerve to tell me I was doing something to them. What can I possibly be doing to these pants? Don’t you think I want the chance to wear them?! I told him I would not bring my business back here again and he told me he didn’t care. You just lost such a loyal client because you are a jerk.

STAYAWAY. This place is cheap and you get what you pay for. I have been going here 6+ months and was never impressed but they did ok. Up until they started giving me another guy’s shirts. They Lost about $ 150 worth of shirts. After trying to talk to the owner for 2+ weeks the lovely owner offered me a 20 refund. Really?!? Just save yourself the trouble and find something better.

New counter person at the cleaners is using hand written tickets, not entering them into the computer. I dropped an item on September 22, did not get a ticket. Went back today to pick up. No item, he could not find it in the computer(but he produced a hand written ticket so maybe it never got entered). Too bad.

Sometimes they have done an adequate job, but not often enough. One time they closed early so I was unable to pick up my dry cleaning when I’d planned to. On two other occasions, they did not have the dry cleaning ready when promised, once when we were about to go on a trip – particularly annoying.

REVISEDREVIEW — on wash and fold — they shrunk and slightly discolored my clothes slightly over time. They don’t appear to separate laundry(I give it to them separated). They appear to have only one washer and dryer. Disappointed on condition of my clothes over the long term.

Do not go here if you have any shirts to be ironed. All of my shirts came back with huge, sharp creases near the arm seams. Some of my shirts looked like accordions.

I’ve never gotten any alterations done here, just laundered dress shirts. Its the closest place to my apartment, the prices are good, and the lady that works there during the week is friendly. The guy that works the weekends can be a bit of a grouch, but i always stop by to pick up or drop off on my way to work in the morning. Never had a problem there with anything. The lady knows who i am, its close, and they are cheaper than other places i’ve looked at so i’ll continue going. Dry Cleaners really shouldn’t blow your socks off like a restaurant should. If you don’t notice them because they aren’t causing you any problems, that means they’re doing a good job.

Stay away from this place! I got some pants hemmed here, and they hemmed them 4 inches too high. I return them to see if they can fix them, and when I go back to pick them up(with my slip) the owner claims that he has already given them to me and refuses to get them. After 20 minutes of arguing and 2 phone calls to his wife he finally checks for them, and of course they are there. He refuses to apologize and doesn’t apologize for butchering my pants. The cleaning was also sub-par compared to the place in Town & Country Village. DONOTGOHERE!

$ 5/pants. Don’t know yet for shirts. They do light tailoring(ie. the hem on one pantleg had come undone, but the pleat was still clearly there — they charged almost $ 6 for this easy sewing job). All in all, I feel a little bit cheated out of my money. But, seeing as it’s literally across the street from my house, I’ll continue going until I find something cheaper. (7÷6): Upon getting my pants back, I was fairly disappointed. They hemmed the pants just fine, but both pairs were still dirt-stained at the base hem! Granted, they were white and light tan pants, but is that too much to ask? Next time, I’m trying the cleaners two doors away from this one.
