Nicole is an amazing hairstylist and a hair artist! She creates gorgeous up-​dos and hairstyles that would be fabulous for a special occasion, a wedding, a prom, etc. She has put my hair up for a Christmas event and I loved it, and got lots of complements on my hair-​do. I highly recommend Nicole.

I am new to Palo Alto and so happy to have found Nicole Fike. She is very creative and listens closely which is a gift for any client. She is a great colorist and her cuts are perfection! She truly is a treasure and I am so delighted that I found her. Do yourself a favor and get the hairstyle you want and be pampered by Nicole.

Nicole came to my rescue, I had taken the scissors to my hair just to trim my bangs and I’m sure you know the rest. I made a mess out of my hair, I went to another stylist and she made even a bigger mess of my hair. I’m an international flight attendant and I just couldn’t face having to work a 4 day international trip looking so bad, so out of the goodness of her heart Nicole fit me in and she did wonders. She got everything looking good again, without having to go super short. I have fine blond hair, so many times the stylist has gone to short, but not Nicole. This was the first time I went to Nicole, but now she will be my regular stylist. Barbara

Nicole is a true hair goddess. She makes sure that each haircut is done to a perfection and approaches each client with care to make sure each person looks at their best. She also listens to any concerns you might have and makes necessary corrections.
Additionally, Nicole did hair for my weddings and i couldnt have wished for a better experience. The updo was holding even the next day. A++++ experience

I have been thinking about seeing Nicole for awhile. I finally did. Nicole is a great hairstylist. I love my haircut. The salon is modest and clean. Nicole definitely know what she’s doing with those scissors. She makes great suggestions on keeping your hair healthy. Very personable and caring. She is just as good as anyone I have seen at a more fancy hair salon.

I usually walk out of hair salons slightly disappointed, but Nicole was exceptional.
She allots an hour to each cut, charges a reasonable rate, and trims bangs for free.
I went in with several pictures of cuts I was interested in, and after learning about my lifestyle and assessing my hair/​features, she came up with a good compromise between all of those factors. My hair looks stylish and is conveniently low-​maintenance.

I am writing this review from my husband’s account. I don’t have my own Unilocal account, but I am so happy with Nicole’s services, that I wanted to write her a review.
Let me start by saying that Nicole is a true artist! She is an absolutely amazing hairstylist and colorist. I tried many different colourists, but after a few times, my highlights looked ok right after the appointment. However, the actual pattern of the highlight was only visible near the scalp. The rest of the hair seemed to lose the pattern and looked like it was all one colour. First time, Nicole worked on me, she meticulously did colour correction. My hair looked more natural and made me look younger as a result.
Well, it’s been almost a year now, and my highlights are amazing! She gets really close to the scalp so the roots don’t show for a while. And the pattern is still there. I absolutely love it.
The atmosphere of the salon is nothing special. However, there’s ample parking and her prices are very reasonable. I’ve had plenty of bad experiences at really high end salons, so for me it’s not an indicator.
All in all, I’m very happy I found Nicole. So happy, that I’m willing to drive from SF to palo alto to get my hair done.

Nicole is a fantastic hair stylist! She makes sure that the hair cut compliments the face shape, does a fantastic job when coloring and styling. I feel very lucky and privileged to have her as my hairdresser.

Nicole is my new hair BFF! It was kind of a funny story how I found her: I noticed a woman with gorgeous, chic, short hair at the grocery store by my house (I think that’s her with the short red hair in the photos!) After she’d passed me by, I regretted not asking her where she got her hair done. Lucky for me, I ran into her again a few weeks later! I tried my best not to act like a crazy stalker, and she graciously gave me Nicole’s card.
I live in the Fremont area, and Nicole is WELL worth the drive and bridge toll to get to Palo Alto! Her salon is smaller and not pretentious. It doesn’t have a ton of product available for sale, but that means no pushy upsell. She asked a LOT of questions in the consultation, making sure to understand what I wanted. That’s harder than it sounds — she interpreted my example photo and vague hand gestures into a perfect asymmetrical pixie cut.
Nicole’s hair cutting method is the most precise I’ve ever experienced; she sectioned and cross-​checked until every last strand was exactly right. I’m even considering going back for some color, and I *never* color at the salon.
Do your style a big favor and give Nicole a call. Or stalk me at the grocery store and ask who cuts my hair… I’d be happy to tell you!

I found Nicole Fike and I am happy because she is the real professional in her trade. I had my wedding in December and Nicole did the beautiful hairstyle for me. I looked amazing, my future husband and my mom said that I was fascinating. I was the happiest bride in the world!!!
I liked Nicole’s hands and her work style. And after few weeks I had my new appointment with her for cutting. And second visit was also perfect. She worked fast, easy and professional.
About salon: I can say that it is clear, cozy and not far from my home. :)

I just had my hair cut and highlights with Nicole Fike. I had compliments from everyone at home and at work. I didn’t have any thoughts on how I want to cut my hair, and asked her to recommend style which will work for me. The hair cut turned out very stylish and modern. I look 10 year younger!
Nicole did an amazing job with my highlights a well. Each string is very thin and goes very well with haircut. Nicole is a stylist with great vision and experience.
