What a great experience! Highly recommended by my hair stylist Cheryl Powell. First time with Monique and I was very delighted to have met her. I can honestly say I didn’t even know she was in back of me doing my hair. She has a soft touch, very quick and the best highlights I have ever gotten. Got my hair colored for the first time (balayage/​ombré combo for $ 100) by Monique. I was interested because a) I have curly hair and b) she’s a stylist that tries to use the most organic and healthiest products out there. Really happy with the results and service — it took three visits to get the color perfect, but Monique was very patient and intent on getting it exactly the way I wanted. Not only did she give me recommendations for hair care and specific products, but she then gave me a color shampoo to help maintain the color! I would definitely go to her again.

Had my first haircut by Monique today (and she also did ombré for me). It all looks great! She spent so much time working on me. She’s wonderful to talk to as well and is so knowledgeable not only in the realm of hair but in so many other areas. While my color was setting, she was with another client having a completely different conversation and you could absolutely tell how much she connected with her, too. It is beyond clear that Monique is not only a fabulous stylist with a loyal client-​base, but she is also very genuine and passionate in her work and the people that come to her.

Monique is a genius at haircutting, She created a style for me that is gorgeous and really easy to take care of. And she is nice and loves what she does. I avoided salons for years, but now I’m going to keep getting haircuts regularly.
Her lines of styling products and other stuff is good too. The leave-​in conditioner I get from her replaced a Fekkai product I was using that was hard to find and expensive.
Whew, what a relief to have a good haircutter at last!

I’ve been getting my curly hair trimmed by Monique ever since I moved to California (some 20 years!). She’s great. In the past few years, I’ve had her tint it as well. She’s equally talented at color and cutting and uses all organic products.
I especially like that she goes to at least one show a year, continuing to learn and keep up with the latest trends. I like, too, that she has a good sense of how to enhance my looks with her styling.
