Very rude and condescending. Felt belittled by a lady who was maybe 20 something. Not customer friendly.

Horrible customer service. Horrible. Don’t even attempt a return at this location. It’s like talking to a brick wall. The manager just stared at me and said«no» when I asked for a size exchange. She offered no solutions or even pretended to give a sh*t that I spend thousands in her store. So I’ve taken my business to the Los Altos Chicos. They’re lovely, helpful, and know what customer service is.

I love this Chico’s store. They have great colors and are always changing the styles which I find refreshing. I have always been greeted and told about current sales. They genuinely want to help me find whatever I’m looking for and when I’m not looking for anything specific they show me new arrivals. The service has always been outstanding at this store. There’s one saleslady who always remembers my name and suggests items I might like which I usually end up purchasing along with the matching jewelry. Keep up the great job ladies and I will always shop the Palo Alto store.

Nice Store, The customer service provided by the older lady with red hair and glasses is by far the worst service. She opens the store late and never greets. terrible service for a location in downtown Palo Alto.

Today I went to the Chico’s in Palo Alto to return a couple of items I had purchased at the Chico’s in Hillsdale mall the week before. I had the receipt and the items had tags. The sale associate(who turned out to be the store manager), scanned my items and informed me that according to her cash register she could only give me store credit. I told her that was absurd, the return policy on the receipt CLEARLY states that I should get a refund back to my credit card. She didn’t care, was quite rude, and told me to return the items at the Hillsdale store for my refund, she was only giving store credit. It’s in violation of the return policy on the receipt. Do NOT shop at this Chico’s store. Go to the one in Hillsdale.

Great customer service! I’m always greeted and I get great suggestions when I am shopping there. I was helped by an older lady and she went above and beyond to help me find a present for my mom. When I went back again to look for another item, she remember who I was and what I was looking for!

I have shopped at Chico’s for years. Most of the clothes I wear each day for work were purchased there. I was quite disappointed with the service I received today when I had a problem with one of their jewlery items. In February, I purchased two necklaces from them. I understand that they do not use«silver», but one of the necklaces has begun to tarnish severely in less than three months. First I was told that they do not keep records of purchases. I convinced the sales person to try anyway, and they could tell that the purchase was made in February. Next a young manager came out and said, they could not take it back because it was over 60 days. I wasn’t trying to get my money back… telling me what to clean it with or trading it for something similar would have made this long time customer happy. I told the manager«I guess I won’t be buying any jewlery at Chico’s again.» By her lack or reaction, I could tell she could care less.

great location in downtown PA, but definitely a tighter squeeze once inside. compared to the los altos store(which i also frequent), i do feel that this storefront is smaller. given that they carry pretty much the same styles and selection of colours, everything is packed much closer together here. as with the los altos store, they use a different sizing system when compared to other women’s clothing stores, i.e. 00, 0, 1, 2 vs 2, 4, 6, 8. if you’re not sure how the sizes work, just ask the staff! i love the new holiday clothes, all sparkly in silver, gold and bright red. lots of items on sale at the moment, so it’s worth taking a look if you still need an extra piece or two to complete that perfect holiday outfit!

I don’t consider myself a grandma type and I do like the clothes at Chicos. Even after a year, still fitting just great. I also find many other things here as well. My main complaint is that there are NOMIRRORS in the dressing rooms. Chicos, why oh why do you think women want to come parading out in clothes that may or may not be flattering. Most would prefer to check themselves out first, not as a fashion show to whoever else may in in the store at the moment. Maybe its just me but… Update: Dear Chicos: Just bought a new pair of jeans and yes they fit great but how much money are you actually saving by taking out the front pocket fabric? I actually like to stick my keys in my pocket when I’m running out and just realized the pocket is faux… really??? please put the pockets back in your jeans — these are just regular jeans, not particularly high style and some women actually make use of the pocket.

I’m a big fan of Chico’s. I must be their target customer because the clothes fit my style and budget. Plus they have great coupons and a frequent buyer program which reduces costs even more. Generally, I find a good selection of individual pieces, i.e., pants, tops, sweaters, jackets. They don’t do dresses. One complaint: last time I was here a blond saleswoman with the most annoying voice was helping another customer, calling around to other stores looking for a certain pair of earrings(that may or may not exist). I just wanted to pay, but she wouldn’t pause and ring up my sale. How dumb is that? I just left and went to the Los Altos store to make my purchase.

So my grandma came to town. Now my grams, is über cute and dresses with an incredible sense of style and has a eye for fashion. She came home just raving about Chico’s, that there were so many cute things for all ages. Until she dropped the name Chico’s, I was really excited. So ladies, if you want to wear hip grandma clothes, Chico’s is your place.
