This guy is clearly out for money. He had me coming in daily for two weeks, and finally, after my boss forbade any more of that(since I had no improvement), I cut down to three times per week. Still no improvement, and the adjustments were getting more and more painful, as well as louder and louder. No massage or heat beforehand to relax the muscles, mind you. Finally, I cut back to once per week, yet when researching other chiropractors, I found that NONE of them charged as much as Gavin Carr, even though they did massage, heat, and TENS treatments to relax the tense muscles surrounding the injured site. And NONE of them required patients to come more than twice a week. My insurance company at the time cut him off after twelve treatments, so after that I had to pay in full at the time of treatments. One evening, the pain of his adjustment made my eyes water, and when I got to my car and sat down the pain increased. I sat there for an hour in pain so bad I could not move. To make a long story short, I did not get home until 9:00 that night, and then my husband took me to emergency at El Camino Hospital, where I was x-rayed. Surprise! The ischium of the right side of my pelvis had a hairline fracture. It was new and most likely caused by the aggressive adjustment I had just had. A few days later, I called and asked Dr. Carr’s office to send a copy of the x-ray he had taken, for comparison. Sure enough, nothing there. I to. d him I would not be seeing him anymore. But, it does not end there! Turns out he worked out at the same gym I did at the time. He changed his workout time to coincide with mine, and starting giving me evil stares that were very unnerving. After the sixth time this happened, I brought my husband with me, and pointed out Dr. Carr when he stated at me. That is when the story finally ended.
