We stayed for one night after a long day at Hershey park. Room was clean, smoke free. Bed was comfortable and shower was relaxing(Bathroom very clean as well). Over all this hotel was exactly what we needed at a fair price.(Especially with 2 concerts that weekend and during summer hours) Lady at the front desk was super nice and the breakfast was ok, but Loved having coffee ready.(It was good too) The only complaint which is NOT the hotels fault is that someone who smoked was leaving their butts right at the walk way where we had to get to our car. Nasty. Would and will stay here again.

First off, you have to understand this isn’t meant to be a fancy hotel. It’s purpose is to meet the basic needs of frequent travelers. Some of the rooms have been remodeled and some haven’t. The place is clean, has the basics(beds, bathroom, TV, and WiFi), a pool, and it’s cheap. My family and I have stayed here over 10 times, and haven’t really had anything to complain about. It’s our go to when we’re in the area and only need somewhere to sleep. So for what it’s meant to be, I give it an A.

This little motel met my basic travel criteria. Door locks, there’s a bed, and the toilet flushes. Seriously, this is s VERY basic property. Family owned and run with pride. Clean. Pool. Breakfast. WiFi… I think. DirectTV. Lots of parking. Town is nice too.

Booked online $ 148 for 2 nights. Upon arrival the guy at the counter took my debut card for«incidentals». He actually charged me $ 99…which I saw I line the next morning, when j checked my bank account app. I had to argue to get my refund. They gave my room a way after the 1st night too! The guy at the counter said its because we(wife & I) took our stuff with us when we left. What??? Well thank goodness we took our stuff! We did get a smaller cramped room for our second night… much smaller… about 10×10. And maintenance workers passed by our 2nd floor window. Not pleasant to see workers, from our bed. Both of the rooms we stayed in smelled like poop… Literally smelled like poop. Despite the discount I got from booking online, and I still feel I over paid.

For two-star accommodations this place wasn’t bad at all. I stayed two nights for my visit to Hershey Park. Palmyra, PA is practically in the middle of nowhere and is a rural town. At first I wondered if I was in the right spot, but my GPS didn’t steer me wrong. When I got to the Knights Inn a friendly Indian woman helped me check in. I stayed in room 222 which had two queen beds. The AC unit could turn the room into an icicle quickly, so I had to keep it at roughly 2⁄3 of the coldest temperature and with the fan on low. I don’t consider that a negative, though. I’d rather have a strong AC unit than a weak one. The free wifi signal was strong, and the amenities inside the room were adequate. As others have said here and on other review sites, the continental breakfast is lame. There were two cereals and tiny pastries provided. The drink dispenser was broken, so orange juice and milk were served in gallon jugs in a mini fridge. Other than the breakfast, I didn’t have any complaints. For $ 55/night(plus taxes and fees of course), it couldn’t be beat.

The setup of the place was quite nice; a general rectangle with a semicircular road that makes up the parking lot. Hotel and office are at the zenith with an in ground swimming pool contained. Front desk attendant was a kind, Indian woman who helped my goofy ass figure out how to rent a room. I chose a nonsmoking room which was upstairs and away from the others. 226 contains a queen bed with adequate walking room surrounding it. Immediately to the left of entrance is a long dresser with TV, DirectTV box, and mini fridge. There’s a chair and ottoman in the room. The bathroom is nicely laid out and was quite clean and well stoked. The sink and shower both had water that went from freezing to super hot. When you look around the room, you’ll notice quite a few outlets to plug things in, but there is only one outlet(the air conditioner one that is halfway up the wall) that accepts three prong plugs, and horribly enough, the only outlet that seems to work is the one in the bathroom into where the hair dryer plugs. The only other problem I had with the place, and it may have just been an odd occurrence, was that there was this faint, unpleasant smell in the upper floor where the non-smoking rooms are located. I wouldn’t call it overpowering, but it is noticeable in the halls and less, if at all, in the rooms. It wasn’t really there in the morning, so it may have just been the neighbor across the hall had cut some heinous mud and the smell was leaking out into the hall. ***The free Wi-Fi here is excellent for gaming.***

Not really that nice of a place. Beds are really low to the ground. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. AC unit made a constant noise. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. A last resort when on a budget.

Forget the bad reviews. This place must have been remodeled. It’s the best deal anywhere near here.
