Totally agree with the small time shop review, and beware the snooty atmosphere too. In fairness the young folks were polite, maybe a bit inexperienced, but the manager… I wanted a Casio watch fixed. Just replace the solar battery, which I supplied, with the watch. I called ahead to qualify that they can work on a Casio Pathfinder. Yes, they said. Next day they call me that it’s ready, which was fast — but the display was frozen since it was not reset internally(you need to press 2 contact points to do this). Consequently none of the function buttons worked. At that point the experience went south. I began to feel as though I was inconveniencing them with a hassle. I got an «Oh» from a sales person. No technician here today, but they’d correct this, we’ll call you. 2 days later — no news. When I called for an update they told me no, it has to be sent to Casio(which will cost about $ 90… I had checked before hand). The manager(?) on the phone acted put out when I asked her why not tell me that in the first place? FYI — I took the watch back, paid for the labor, and went right to Watch Repair, Inc. on Bird Road and 83rd. In 12 minutes the watch was reset, while I waited, for $ 15 bucks. And he cleaned it too. The guy laughed at my Rotunda experience. Now I am too. There are lots of way better places that can fix a watch.

These guys are a small time shop and while sometimes that is a good thing in this case it is not. There isn;t a lot of experience or knowledge with the staff. In addition I had an issue where they took a really long time to get back 2 me on 2 different items and then didn’t even return calls when they promised they would. beyond this they gave me a quote to fix a diamond on a ring that was way too high and not very competitive at all. I would not recommend.
