Very good. I’ve been there a few times and will continue to eat there in future. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Great service.

It has been a while since my last visit but they truly do an extraordinarily good job and have been very consistent over the years. The food quality, presentation, consistency and flavor are what sets this Chinese restaurant apart from the rest of the field. I might go so far as to say that Wen Ming is among the top five in the area. It appears they have a new and expanded menu and are doing more Asian fusion dishes along side the Sushi items they have always had. The Thai dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, I can’t vouch for the taste nor their authenticity but I will give it a run one day and write a follow up review. This little place is worth a drive from just about anywhere, why you ask because of the noticeable quality difference in each and every dish they serve.

Was looking for«something» for dinner, not really sure what I wanted. Saw this place on Unilocal and read some of the reviews. All were really good. My husband and I decided to give it a try as we really like sushi. So, place is nothing to look at from the outside, but what I did notice was that it was well lit and packed. That was the second good indicator. We went inside, found a seat and ordered a glass of wine, which was OK. The waitress was helpful with menu choices and talking about the specials of the day. Sushi was great, sashimi was great. Would definitely go back again. Maybe to try the Thai food next time… Smells from the kitchen for Thai and Chinese food was really good. As we were leaving, more people just kept coming in. I’m happy this is only about 5 miles from my home!

I was skeptical about going in, it’s not trendy and new but I was pleasantly surprised. Sushi is so good! Now I’m hooked.

I have been eating sushi for 20 years now(my first experience of many experiences started in 1996). The sushi here is some of the best I’ve ever had. Mind you, I have had sushi all over the United States(including Nobu) and I’m not sure how this is in Palmer but I’m happy that it is! The wine selection could be better but it’s so affordable, I don’t really mind. Also, the service isn’t always great because the place is so small, they only have one server but the food makes it worth it!

Excellent sushi! Very fresh. Chef allowed us to try a few samples to help us decide. Super nice people. I highly recommend the Hunan duck. Service is top notch.

We love wen Ming. Best Chinese around. Delivery is quick and decent but when you eat in house it’s always fantastic. Where to start? Crab rangoons are amazing Garlic chicken wings shouldn’t be missed Noodles Singapore style are so good Baby Chinese greens(bok choy) Sushi Udon noodles That’s some of our favorites but have never had something bad. The service is quick and accurate and they seem happy to have you in their restaurant. Give wen a try if you haven’t been there. They are the best in town.

Oh. My. God. Where do I start? So I drive by this place everyday on my way to work. One day we decided to try it after looking at the menu and seeing how good it looked but most importantly they delivered and we didn’t really feel like driving lol but anyway. We went all out. Got the sushi platter for two, yaki soba(chicken) and tofu pad Thai. Yes all for two people, don’t judge we have plenty leftover and we couldn’t decided. Treat yoself. Not only were the prices fantastic but the food was THE best japanese/Thai we have ever had. And we’ve been to many places. And the fact this amazingly fresh and beautifully constructed food came from a small town place blows my mind. AMAZINGFOOD, GREATPRICESANDSUPREMEQUALITY. Not greasy at all and SOGOOD.

This wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t the worst, either. The Queen Roll was very good and I’ll probably get that again, but the Philadelphia Maki was awful. I substituted the cucumbers with avocado, which was good. The salmon, however, was chewy and several of the rolls had hard pieces that I had to spit out because they literally were not edible pieces of salmon. Overall, the service was great. They were nice on the phone and very pleasant about taking my order. It was ready in just 15 minutes for pick up. It was a bit more expensive than other sushi restaurants I’ve been to. I will eat here again because it is the closest place to get sushi, but I’ve definitely had better. In fact, if you love sushi as much as me, try Ichiban in South Hadley(my absolute favorite sushi place) or Blue Water in Ludlow. It’s worth the drive.

All right Philadelphia roll, but the Garza wasn’t quite as crunchy as I had hoped. Tempura should be crispy, but this tasted kinda mushy, like it wasn’t deep fried long enough

Love them. Love their Chinese and their sushi. There isn’t much for sushi in this area so it’s awesome to have such a great place so close!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s not much to look at, so you might not expect the food to be notably good, but it is! The staff is really friendly and the food is great. They manage to do multiple different foods well– not easy to do. They have se Thai food(pad Thai is great and is a big serving), Japanese(sushi, teriyaki boxes) and Chinese(actual authentic style Beijing duck).

We still go there regularly, sometimes several times a week. Whether the food is Chinese, Japanese or Thai food you can’t go wrong here. The staff is always great and greets us by name. The restaurant is a bit small, but we’ve never had to wait much. We especially like their sushi. Very highly recommended!

The service is prompt and friendly. The food is served fresh, tasty and piping hot. Serving sizes are generous and the prices are more than reasonable. We had the luncheon specials for $ 6.75, which included an appetizer, fried rice and entrée. There was so much food we couldn’t finish our plates. Can’t be beat! Will definitely be going back to try the Thai food!

The food is inspired and creative and you can taste it in every dish. The curries are great(red is spicy, green is mild), pad thai is good(it’s a bit light on the fillers but has good flavor, albeit a little lighter flavor than I’m used to) and the sushi is just awesome. Everything is meticulously crafted which elevates pretty standard rolls to a whole other level. The sashimi is great too; we often get the sashimi deluxe for groups of three or four and it’s always perfect. The owners are wonderful people who have shown they deserve our business. EATHERE!

I like to get some of the same combination dishes and they always have the same taste and portions. The dinner combos are good for two small meals(I like to get take out and the containers are sturdy– not the lunch ones as much). The veggies have a really nice flavor. I have not tried anything from here that I don’t like. At work we had ordered half of the menu the other day and everyone loved it. Tonight I tried the combination S9– four seasons– it had shrimp, chicken, beef and pork with veggies. They all tasted cooked and a good overall flavor that complimented each other nicely. The white rice was just right. Not watery or dry. I tried Boston Maki tonight. It was ok but not too sure of the sauce on top. it reminded me of mayo-good overall.

Newly opened today and I was their very first Sushi customer!!! YAY!!! A couple of people made it in for Chinese before I did, but at least I have a small claim to their future fame ;) For being so newly opened they were a little disorganized, but they had literally JUST opened! I decided to give a few old standby’s a try. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken lunch special with the crab rangoons and wonton soup. It wasn’t a sickly sweet sauce like you expect from a lot of cheaper Chinese restaurants, but a lighter sauce that had a nice flavor. The rice was the best I have had in a long time. Simple, but without the ubiquitous frozen mixed vegetables that ruin so many basic fried rice dishes. The crab rangoon were delicious, a little sweet and perfectly cooked. For Maki rolls we tried the Philadelhia, the California and the Eel/avacado. Everything tasted so very fresh! The eel was sliced a little thicker than I prefer, but it was still quality. The Philadelphia was what you would expect, if lacking a little of the smokey punch I prefer… but that’s just me. The California roll… let me just say here that California Rolls should NEVEREVEREVEREVER have carrots in them… NEVER…and their’s didnt’! The final comment would be about the hot and sour soup. I’ve never had one that compares to Amherst Chinese Food, so I don’t know why I insist on bothering to try it anywhere else. AS was expected, this did not compare. The seaweed flavor was all to present, and that’s just not my thing. If I want to taste ocean, I’ll go drink sea water. So in conclusion, give them a shot if you’re in the area. They beat the other three Chinese food places in Palmer by more than a couple of points. I’m seriously hoping that the 4 star rating will hold. I NEED a local sushi place!

Tiny little place, but some of the best Chinese food I have had in the area. Definitely worth a visit!
