William J McAdam Park

I walk at this park often while my daughter goes to appointments nearby. The park seems to be well maintained. Green grass, shady areas, places to picnic.
As an adult I don’t mind walking the pathways. But I have seen some concerning behavior from people in the park. Teens smoking pot in the back by the handball court.
A couple drug deals in the parking lot, later in the afternoons.
As a mom these things really concern me because the park has fairly nice playground equipment with frequent children visiting and young soccer clubs playing on the field.
Would just like to remind parents that plan to visit, to please stay close to your children. I see so many parents sit in their cars in the parking lot watching 4 – 7 year olds on the playground by themselves. Not really a place I would want a child unattended.
