I was so hoping to give this place 4 or 5 stars but I could tell as soon as I walked in that it probably wasn’t going to happen. My instant reaction was«…oh…» I was expecting every kind of topping I could think of… No. It wasn’t the selection I was hoping for. I should have turned around and walked out. But I didn’t because every establishment deserves a chance. But here are my thoughts as I went about the place. I grabbed a small cup and went directly for the original tart as always… hand made sign and original was spelled wrong. WALKOUTRAVEN… but no. I mean whatever right? If its good, its good. Make my way to the toppings bar… what the heck is this blue stuff? Blueberry boba balls? Skip it. Strawberries look fresh, I’ll get those and some almond slices. Apparently there is no kiwi… and some other things I’m used to seeing are not present… well…alright. I guess I’m done. This looks boring. But whatever as long as it tastes good. Pay(cheap but honestly, I find all frozen yogurt affordable) and take a bite. It is a personal preference I know, but I like my original tart super tart. And this was just lacking. Mostly sweet. The strawberries were more tart. Ate up all the toppings and then noticed that even the yogurt tasted like almonds. Like it was made with almond milk. It was alright but«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Slightly disappointed and probably won’t be back. –sigh– Oh well.

Yogurt flavor and selection was good. The fresh toppings did not look fresh. The seating was minimal, with nothing suitable for little kids. When Sweet Frogs is across the street with the same prices why would anyone come here?

A new frozen yogurt shop just opened on the east side and I tried it out. This is a Small /Medium sized shop with five machines and a small but adequate selection of toppings that include both fruit and sweets. After looking over the selection of yogurt I chose Cappuccino &NY Cheesecake Swirl with M&M’s and Chocolate Chips as my toppings. The price here is 38 cents per ounce. After paying I took a seat, there are seven bar stools at a counter located on the north wall. The yogurt was very good, smooth and flavorful. I was told that the selection of flavors will be rotated every couple of weeks. The shop is done in White, Pink, and Green stripes with Blue textured walls. The shop is located on the South West corner of 47th Street East and Avenue R, behind Tom’s and next door to Gezziny’s Pizza. My rating is 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.
