They have moved to a much better location in Palmdale and are now called George’s Inka Grill. Same owner, same great food. They are on 10th West in the same plaza as Best Buy.

Loved this restaurant when it was located in EPalmdale. Love it even more in WPalmdale. Same fresh food, nicer ambiance. Address is 39256 — 10 St W in West Palmdale by Best Buy. Phone 266‑9090. My favorite is #28 with lots of green sauce. I recently catered a couples event for our church and the attendees raved about the food. You won’t be disappointed!

Just to let all my fellow Unilocalers know… This restaurant has moved to the Bestbuy/Target center next to the mall and it’s now called George’s Inka Grill. Same amazing food same amazing owner! I HATED peruvian food before I came to this place. Please give it a try, the green chicken soup is sooo yummy and the saltado de pollo is delicious!

Came here last year while passing through Palmdale. Let’s just say the food was interesting. Decided to give it another shot and saw a handwritten sign that said«OUTOFBUSINESS».

I’m always on the lookout for something good to eat and easy to find off the highway on my long drives around SoCal. This was almost 2 mi off the 14, just past the Carl’s Jr. The shopping center is dingy outside, but the restaurant is really nice and bright inside, love the Macchu Picchu painting and wooden furniture. I had a craving for something sour, and being a Peruano place, I had to get some ceviche! The waitress was really nice, but it did take awhile to get my food. She started me off with some aguadito de pollo, which is a tasty cilantro based chicken & rice soup and a warm roll. I decided to go all out and get the ceviche mixto which had octopus, squid, shrimp, and fish. It was a little spicy, a little sour. Came with sweet potato and regular potato on the side. It was a nice meal, but pretty pricey at $ 15 for lunch.

Pretty sad that this place can’t be in a better location like by the Mall or off 10th. We went here yesterday, and there was a group of people eating at one table, and then us. I figured on a Tuesday at 12, probably more of a dinner place. So we sat down, got our menus, and began looking it over. A little pricey. Food was great though. And we got the same complimentary soup every one else reviewing got. We liked it. The spicey green sauce that comes out was delicious too. Hopefully they read their Unilocal reviews and MOVEMOVEMOVE locations to some where better then the strip mall next to a buffet. Service was great as well. They have relocated so 5 stars!

I’m glad that places like this can still survive in the AV. Do me a favor and before you plan your next horrible meal at Chili’s or Olive Garden, try something new. The flavor of the food here is unreal. We started with the Cristal and Cusquena beers… I really like Cusquena, it’s got a sweet kind of taste to it and really does taste like a darker beer. My girlfriend didn’t like the papa a la huancaina much but I loved it. She got the ¼ white meat chicken and I got the Seco de Cordero. Both dishes were amazing. The best part of the meal definitely had to be the house soup. It was delicious and perfect because it was raining and cold outside. We meant to and now totally regret getting some to go. Forget about the location, the fact that it’s here means it has a better chance of surviving in a valley where everyone just loves to swarm on the next new chain restaurant.

So drove to the area to visit family… Since it is so far from where I call home I didn’t even bother to eat to get to the city of Palmdale fast… 2 and a half hours later I arrive to my destination starving… I pull out my Unilocal app in hopes of finding some good food… Wasn’t in the mood for any stuff that popped up until I see this Peruvian restaurant pop up… The reviews seemed to rant and rave of the great food, and my taste buds instantly connected to this place and I had to have some. Drove up with the bf and the Unilocalers aren’t kidding this strip mall place is shady and scary when you pull up and see like 5 armed guards guarding what I am assuming was a bingo place… Any who… We enter the restaurant and it’s empty but looked clean and the décor was cute very to the theme and authentic looking… The hostess comes out and hands us the menus which are quite smanzy looking. I let her know we plan on taking out and just nods. My bf orders some Peruvian passion fruit drink(it was alright not my cup of tea though)… After looking at the menu I decide on the«Solteado Pollo» and their flan… As we were waiting for the food, I was still admiring their menus, the hostess brings us their complimentary soup… Ehh«Aguadito de Pollo» which to me just tasted like some chicken soup with cilantro sauce… It had some thin chicken shreds & veggies. Very nice of her to bring us some since we were just ordering to go and not dining in… My food arrives and we pay, the total seemed a bit high… But I guess that is the price I pay for craving Peruvian in an unknown place. We head back(I’m starving and drooling over the thought of my food) I run straight to the kitchen and pop my food open… First thought«oh wow, that’s a lot of food that’s why it was so much.» I taste it… And my vision of deliciousness is gone… No fireworks… Just meh. In actuality it wasn’t a lot of food just a good portion that looked large b/c underneath the chicken were fries… Without the Peruvian sauce it didn’t feel Peruvian to me… So I ate it all with the green Peruvian sauce… Finished my entrée and moved on the dessert… Oh yes dessert I love love love dessert… I slowly take my spoon and take a piece of the flan and… Also meh. Don’t get me wrong the food was not bad at all but it wasn’t great. It was good though. Would I come here again??? Probably not, but it was quite an experience. Overall my rating was based on the locality of the place, price, and presentation. I would say it’s worth the try and perhaps others will enjoy this place as much as the other Unilocalers did. As for myself I will stick to places more familiar to me.

Went here on a whim tonight with a friend who lives in the area. The atmosphere was clean and charming and we were greeted my the owner, Monica, who treated us like family friends coming over for dinner. Monica ordered our meal for us, starting with Papa a la Huancaína. The cheese sauce was mild and delicious, definitely a perfect start. Monica then provided us with complimentary cups of her Aguadito de Pollo soup, which was worth the visit all by itself! The soup was incredible, topped with their home made aji sauce I was already sold. For the entrée I was given the Seco de Cordero, stewed lamb with rice and Peruvian beans. These were the best beans I’d ever eaten; if I was given a massive plate of these beans for a meal I would have been more than happy. The lamb was tender and flavorful, with a light stew that was not as greasy I expected. Since I am a big man with a big appetite, the portion size were a bit of a concern right off the bat, but the meal was surprisingly filling, and the amazing quality and incredible flavors will definitely keep me coming back.

This place is way to good to be hidden in a shady strip mall on Palmdale Blvd. It’s by a Carl’s Jr, MMA Fight Club gym, and a billiard’s hall. Peruvian food? In Palmdale? Believe it. Started out by ordered the Papa a la Huancaína, which is a boiled potato dish covered in a cheese sauce. It came with green chili-ish sauce… also amazing– so good my friend and I poured it all over a bread roll. The owner brought out some complimentary house soup, which was creamy, had barley, and wasn’t too heavy before the meal. I ordered the Saltado de Pollo– a chicken dish with potatoes, onions, green onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and rice. My friend ordered Seco de Cordero, which is a lamb stew over potatoes and a side of beans. I’m pretty sure this lamb was cooked in a hole in the back of someone’s yard, because there’s no way it could come out of the kitchen tasting that authentic and amazing… for all my wedo amigos, that is a good thing. BTW, the green sauce is good on everything. There was nothing I didn’t enjoy here, and I will be back, and often. Service was friendly and attentive. Don’t expect chain quality service because the owner was basically running the entire restaurant with the help of two cooks. She was quick enough, and our food came out hot, tasty and quickly. Support a local business, and go for a great food coma!

The flan is out of this world delicious and everything else I’ve had is just amazing. The owner is really nice and attentive, and the interior is unexpectedly nice. I’ll be back again.

Peruvian chicken in Palmdale! While on business travel in Palmdale, my colleague and I hit up Inka Kitchen. It was a great local restaurant to visit with very nice owners and staff. The order: — ½ pollo with rice and beans — Pescado sudado(fish stew) with rice and beans — Cristal beer — Cusqueña beer — Peruvian flan — Lucuma ice cream The food was wonderful. To start, we had complementary bowls of chicken soup with shredded chicken, beans, and vegetables. Then came our entrees. My coworker liked his chicken for the most part — «tender on the outside with a slight wood-smoked flavor inside.» My fish stew tasted light and healthy in a tomato-based sauce, yet hearty enough to fill me up. As for their aji sauce, it wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked, but it still did the job in adding extra flavor to my rice. Dessert was the best and the highlight of the meal. I loved the unique, exotic flavors in the lucuma ice cream. I can’t even begin to describe what it tasted like. Then I tasted the flan. It became my favorite part of the meal. The flan was soft and creamy, smothered in a caramel-like sauce. Yum!

My friends and I went here after an afternoon of cherry picking in Leona Valley. Inka Kitchen is located in a somewhat run down strip mall, but don’t let that deter you. Before our entrees came out, the owner gave all of us complimentary cilantro and chicken soups(Aguadito de Pollo) and it was probably the best thing I had here; I even bought an extra order to go. We ordered a Potatos and Eggs in Cheese appetizer(Papa a la Huancaína) but I’m not a big fan of cheese and as you can imagine, was somewhat filling for an appetizer. The trademark rotisserie chicken was delicious, but the Peruvian chili sauce the owner suggested we have it with really made the poultry shine. We ordered a separate side of fried plantains(Platano Fritos) which were also very good. The regular rice and salad sides that came with my entrée were just ok compared to everything else, but overall I had a very enjoyable meal. It’s really unfortunate there’s not a place like this near where I live.

I found this place during my lunch break while I was on my way to the nearby Carl’s Jr.(big mistake!). I had to stop by for dinner since my only experience with Peruvian food was the pollo a la brasa in K-town in DTLA. I had the usual — pollo a la brasa, with the aji sauce to give me a comparison with my previous experience. The chicken was right on, tender on the outside, with the slight wood-smoked flavor inside. The aji sauce didn’t really kick as much as the one from K-town, but I almost finished the bottle! My co-worker and I had tried their beers imported from Peru and I must say that I was impressed with the taste. I found a place to frequent every time I’m in the Lancaster-Palmdale area, a change from all the chain restaurants on the other side of 10 St. SW.

Went here with my bf after seeing good Unilocal reviews, it was in a slightly seedy strip mall. I say this because it was next to a large bingo hall that had quite a few armed guards walking around outside of the building and the server locked the door when we were in the middle of dinner and another group of people that came to eat here had to knock on the door to get in… hmmmmmm The main reason we went here was for the ceviche, which was pretty pricey as an appetizer I think like $ 12 for the mixed ceviche. We also got the entire roasted chicken which came with rice, beans and we wanted fried yucca instead of french fries. The meal started off with a chicken soup that had a green base and tasted alot like cilantro, they also had warm rolls. To accompany the food we got a retro ketchup type container filled with a green hot sauce which was alright but I wasnt a big fan of it. So the ceviche was alright but not worth the price tag, there was a yummy sauce that it was marinated with. The shrimps were good, the squid kind of rubbery, the fish was the best. They also served it with these giant corn kernels, I dont know what kind of corn it was but it was like 3 times the normal size of a corn kernel. They also had some yummy corn nuts. The chicken was ginormous and yummy, they gave us a trough of white rice and beans, the fried yucca was great. It’s definitely worth a try and they give you so much that we had enough for the both of us for lunch the next day and then some. Overall this place was a bit pricier than what I would want to pay for what we got, I think everything was $ 40 but it was good, I just wish that they didnt have to lock us in while we were eating.

The rolls were soft and satisfying, and the green soup was also very good. For whatever reason, whenever I eat Peruvian food, it’s never hot. I don’t get this. I like hot food, and it’s always lukewarm. I got the lomo saltado, and it had good flavor. My grandma got the flat steak, but she couldn’t chew it. Overall, it was an alright experience, but the restaurant is in a ghetto part of town in some rundown strip mall.

I won’t go into the detail of my last review, but we went there again for lunch with a friend yesterday and all three of us sampled the buffet and really enjoyed it. My husband’s comment: «I’ll be back for more.» They are one of the few places around that does rotisserie chicken, and that was available on the buffet also — they care about the quality of the food because when we mentioned that the rotisserie chicken was no longer warm enough and it was getting a little dry, they immediately went into the back to get fresh chicken out onto the buffet. And for dessert? All three of us ordered flan based on our prior tasty experience — and I mean we each got our OWN piece because NONE of us was willing to share :)

What a delightful surprise to find a restaurant with this much authenticity in the land of chain restaurants. Located along a strip mall next to a Buffet King(for those who have a less adventurous spirit), this restaurant has a nice set of decorations and a good sampling of Latin American music. I had the best Lomo Saltado at this Peruvian restaurant, and this is my favorite dish I eat at many restaurants to judge their quality. The service is very friendly. Someone else ordered the ¼ Pollo a la Braza(Peruvian style rotisserie chicken) that was juicy and had lots of flavor. Another person ordered Col Saltado de Pollo which I had never eaten before but was good. It is a stir-fry chicken, cabbage, tomatoes, and onion dish. We also had Anticuchos as an appetizer, and an Alfajor for dessert. You can find all the best dishes from Peru on their menu served deliciously with care and excitement. This Peruvian food is so authentic that I give it a better review than any other Peruvian restaurant I have been to in Northern California. This is the best restaurant I have visited in the Antelope Valley.
