Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.

If it were my choice, I wouldn’t even give this store one star. This is only one of the few times I’ve been to this store and usually I get somewhat okay cashiers but today I just couldn’t stand it anymore. I am picking up a few things and once I finish I go to a check out stand that says open and there’s nobody around! And then a couple minutes of waiting and I’m yelled at from across the store, «She’ll be right with you.» Waiting for a few minutes longer, a girl, named Desiree comes out from the back on the phone!!! She starts ringing me up, still on the phone, and she doesn’t say hello or anything she continues on with her PERSONAL conversation cussing multiple times and talking how they used to steal when they were younger. She asked where the other person lived and said they lived on 5^th street and how they used to live on 5^th street. This is not what I want to know from a short trip to a dollar tree. The only time she stopped talking on the phone was to tell me I owed 11 $ and that was it. Not a have a good day or anything after that. She continued on the phone and I watched her from my car as she helped THREE other customers while STILL on the phone! Why are people like these hired? I thought we are supposed to try and better our society. This is definitely not the way to do it.

I just popped by to pick up a few things quickly while on vacation. They had everything I needed and it was all $ 1 as well. Don’t laugh– I know this is Dollar Tree, but at home sometimes they charge $ 2-​$ 5 for certain products. My cashier was fairly nice. She didn’t look thrilled or anything, but she made an attempt to be nice and we were in and out quickly. Speaking of in and out, In-​n-​out is right next door. The only con I witnessed was suspicious people walking around outside.

I’ve been making the rounds of the Dollar Tree stores and this one has very nice people, but the store doesn’t seem as clean as the others. It’s clean, just not AS clean. The other review here said there were beggers hanging around; she’s right, we’ve run into them, too, but it doesn’t make me feel unsafe and there’s nothing the store can do about them. The ones we’ve seen aren’t right by the door anyway, they’re further down the sidewalk.

great deals its just in a bad section of palmdale, there are always beggers hanging around. just don’t feel safe shopping there
