I used to eat here all the time. I recommended many people here. The food was hit or miss, with usually a hit. However their MAIN cook, is a tattooed gangster(he proudly shows off his tattooed scalp), & unfortunately holds this place hostage. He must be related to the owners because he is still employed. In conclusion, wife has the BEST food, daughters are bright, owner is cool, but the cook usually has final say, so pucker up!!!

This is great little gem. The food is on point. The shrimp dishes are loaded with medium/large shrimp. The street tacos are perfect. Someone mentioned they were small… yeah that’s what real tacos are small. The menudo was very well spiced and combined with the homemade tortillas I was in 7th heaven. Only cons, the beer could be a touch cooler but they come with a chilled mug so I wouldn’t really complain.

Ok, so this place opened 2 – 3 yrs ago, food was great back then, authentic, old school elderly cooks. Went there today, food was horrible, my girl mentioned that the cook was a younger dude. 1st, a 12oz bottled beer $ 4.50? Come on!!! Cheaper at all these big chain restaurants, etc. Torta= $ 7 mainly bread, carnitas/meat not shredded, Tacos = $ 1.40 tiny, tiny. Yes, they only give you 1 – 2 small to go sauce cups. 1 quesadilla only cheese = $ 5 smaller in size. We also heard a fellow customer complaining about taco size. I undrstand it is a business but come. on, where did the originality go? Best in the AV, wow, how could somebody make this claim? Green sauce was weak/watery. 1 torta, 1 cheese quesadilla, and 2 tiny tacos $ 17,hmmmm… i dont mind paying extra for food, but it should be tasty, this was not.

Food is okay. Nothing special. Owner is extremely rude. Tacos are super tiny with barely any meat(yes I understand street tacos are small) but for that price for a baby taco it better be the best tacos I’ve ever had and it wasn’t. Street tacos in Mexico are cheap and delicious. You can get way bigger and better tacos for the same price out here.. Ceviche is awful there. They limit you to salsa as well. I need at least 6 salsas for one burrito and the owner told me no that I don’t need that much. Probably won’t be going back. This was my second time since the first time I went when they just opened and it was unorganized and they still used the old Chinese restaurant that was theres dishes and décor. Green salsa lacks everything. No flavor at all.

Owner sat us down and totally forgot about us… he has a preference in customers. He took orders from guests that came in after us. I literally had to ask a young lady if they could at least take our order. Also when my husband went up to pay, the customer paying prior to us, the owner thanked him and, asked if he enjoyed the food, when my husband went to pay he said nothing but the amount due. NOTEVEN A THANKYOU! WILLNEVERRETURN!!!

So we decided to try them a second time. Unfortunately, we went in at noon and the chips taste like yesterday’s. When we asked if they had any fresh ones she said they were freshly-made … hmmm, okay, so we gave up the battle with the flies and just let them have the chips. His chili relleno was tasteless and the sauce was watery. My Alambre shrimp-beef combo would have been much better if the onion and beef had been better carmalized. The homemade tortillas were excellent and the flan was pretty good. Overall, for our first meal here we had a brilliant experience, but I’d say the kitchen was a little bit«off» today. Our waitress was very nice, but I think the kitchen let her down today. Note the one thing they do here that’s a bit irritating is they just put the bill down without any dollar itemization of the food. The other problem was that I had to give Mr. Picky my iPhone to borrow with the flashlight turned on because the restroom light kept going on and off. He didn’t want to be stuck in there in the dark because even waving his arms around periodically couldn’t keep that thing turned on! Overall, we both agreed we were going to strike this off of our list of restaurants worth a return visit.

Incredible. We seek out Mexican food restaurants wherever we go and I have to say this ranked in our top 5. It’s was so good and so reasonably priced. The hubbie got Huevas Rancheros and I got Mexican steak with onions. The homemade tortillas were insanely good. I ate 4. The waitress was great — friendly, fast, and attentive. We aren’t in Palmdale often, but we’d ride through just for Azteca. Highly recommended.

We came by to try the tacos de suadero. We Really enjoyed them. Place was clean, service was efficient and friendly. We had tacos of suadero, lengua, tripa and al pastor and they were good. Glad we don’t have to drive to the valley to get some street style tacos. We have to come back to try the barbacoa and consome next time.

yeah, i know good mexican food and this is far from it. A good chili rellano shoud stand alone and not need any chili sauce to cover that it is frozen. the rice is a whole other sad story. i will not be back.

Yummy! So far I’ve tried the chilaquiles divorciados and my favorite were the green salsa one… they were soooo good. The 2nd time there I tried the menudo and it was served with homemade tortillas… yummy. And of course the micheladas are to die for… I will be back!!!

This place here is wicked good!!! They’re salsas are on point. They’re meat is so tasty. And the micheladas… holy canoli. You get to choose from a couple of beers. And they make it fresh to order. It’s authentic to the max!!. They’re English might not be the best. And that’s ok. Because they’re food is!!! Bravo

Oh gosh, this was a great choice for dinner. I ordered from the counter and the woman working, who also brought me my food and hooked me up with salsa’s galore, was wonderful and so incredibly friendly. I got a three taco plate with rice and beans. The tacos I chose were one each of asada, pastor and… well, I don’t remember the other. The asada was absolutely the best, and I wish I had ordered all three as asada. The other two were very good, but I had the asada first and kept comparing the other two to it. Tortillas were delicious and corn. Rice and beans were good. Also had a horchata which was delicious. I felt the prices were fair. Would return in a heartbeat!

So today I decided to have Azteca for dinner. Saw the reviews and had to try it. First of all it’s a hole in a wall place. The decorating and the inside of the building is awful, but I was not there to see their tacky Mexican décor. He got the carne asada burrito I had the huarache. The burrito did not have the WOW factor. It had plenty of meat, rice, and beans. I tried the burrito and to me it tasted a little too salty. The huarache has a little bit of everything. Salty and not super great. I didn’t finish my food. I don’ know about all these 5 star reviews. The only thing I liked was the free chips. They tasted very fresh. Everything else was BLAH!!! Prices are a little too high for a hole in the wall restaurant. Paid $ 13.61 for a burrito and huarache. Back to Guadalajara Taco Grill restaurant their prices are great and food is delicious.
