Bought a canvas tarp from here for over $ 300 and is disintegrated shortly after buying it. They do not warrant their product. Buyer Beware!

No good. Ordered a canopy, the awning came wrong size and the poles never came. When I called them about it, you can’t get through to anybody that can help, tell the same story, not offer a solution.

Don’t even deserve 1 star. Horrible customer service. As in non existent. Worst online buying experience yet. I Gave exact measurements of existing tarp from ace canopy to sales rep and told them we needed the exact same size. They sent us the wrong size. Immediately called to get he right size shipped out overnight. Sales rep can’t do that, only customer service. They sent my info to customer service and said I would be contacted within 24 hours. No one called so I called again. Only customer service can help not sales reps. They sent another email to customer service. No one contacted me. So I called customer service. Only got answering machine. Left a message for Maria. No return call. Decided to order a new size. Didn’t get any confirmation email for a week. Called sales rep and got tracking number. Need to return the original tarp but need an RMA number and can only get it from customer service. No one ever answers. Or returns messages. Their sales rep even said they can’t get a hold of them. So unprofessional. Shady. Will never do business with them.

I haven’t even been able to put up my canopy because they haven’t sent me it. The other comments about completely inept or apathetic customer service are not inflammatory, but very accurate. It has been 24 days(that’s over 3 weeks) since I have placed my order. I still don’t have my canopy. What have they said twice now when I call them(I have been calling at least once a week)? «I’m sorry, but we’re busy and it fell through the cracks.» Being busy is understandable, and could be a sign of good business. But what are they busy with? Aren’t they supposed to be «busy» with sales and customer service and dealing with cases like myself? This is an odd company to do business with.

I bought 2 sets of canopy carports from Ace Canopy. I am pretty happy with the overall experience. The quality of the products are OK, about average for such products. But I was very pleased with their service. One of the canopy cover were missing 2 grommets. I emailed Ace Canopy, or maybe their sales rep, and got a reply next day. Given the negative comments and reviews I saw on a few websites, I was surprised to see how quickly the problem was taken care of to my satisfaction.

Multiple guess question. Pick the best answer. Why will I never endorse or purchase any product that is associated with Ace Canopy? a) Because their guarantees are meaningless. b) Because their canopy product is about as durable as a roll of toilet paper left out in the rain. c) Because their customer service is useless and they don’t reply to attempts to contact them. d) All of the above. Answer: You guessed it. «d», all of the above. Just so you know, I purchased a replacement canopy for my 10’x20’ aluminum frame. I ordered it online. Mr. B put it up in May of this year. By the end of September, it was starting to shred everywhere it came in contact with the peak of the frame. Wow. A whole five months of sheer lasting power. I first called customer service and they informed me that my $ 70 purchase was only guaranteed for 1 month. But, according to the website, if I had ordered the whole kit(with their aluminum frame), it would have been guaranteed for 5 years. Of course, there was nothing on their website that indicated a different guarantee. Silly me, what was I thinking? That I would get the same quality product just like in the kit? I just love throwing my money away on cheaply manufactured garbage with implied guarantees that turn out to be purposeful omissions. After the futile phone conversation with customer service, I tried sending them an email with my complaint. It has been two weeks since that email was sent and there has been no effort to either apologize or stick it to me. Just silence. This business appears to be big. They have a huge website. They even brag about the grade and durability of their replacement canopies. Read it here!
Consumers, don’t let that fool you. They are either unwilling or inept at handling customer complaints and do not stand by their products. But they will be happy to take your money. Avoid this business.
