Issues problems with water being too cold then too hot it’s been for 5 years building too old can’t afford to pay for a professional plumber to do the right job instead the send the maintenance employees with no knowledge what so ever they can barely know how to change a light bulb that’s why I see them come & go fire that’s. 3 ownerships in 5 years that’s tell how this business runs the staff come & go. I live here for 5 long years it has gone from good to worse first with the water problem too cold then too hot in the shower they sent joe the handyman try to repair the issue I took photos of the poor work they did the problem continues with the water being too cold then too hot. I told them long ago the problem it’s not in the units it’s in the old water heathers the SAGE don’t want to pay for a professional plumber to fix this huge water issues they can hardly pay their handyman they hire this idiots who don’t know anything I seen them come and go for 5 years, absolutely I will take my complaint to the next level because I’m not paying a penny for something they never fix the water problem period plus the complex it’s all getting worse from the tenant around me and in the complex marijuana smoking gates never work I never used the laundry it’s worse then jail it’s getting worse thank GOD I move out to paradise

I really don’t understand the bad reviews here. The management has really improved and I have been living here for 4 years. I wouldn’t be living here with my children if wasn’t pleasant and safe.

I like this complex– originally moved here because of the dog rules (so did everyone else). I lived here almost 3 years The new management is horrible — way overpriced and all the nice neighbors moved out, including us. Beware of low deposits you will get a «Bill» after moving out as they take all of any security deposit for basic cleaning they are required to take care of between tenets so don’t bother cleaning anything when you move out. The new mgmt company «Investment concepts Inc» was involved in a muti million dollar lawsuit years ago for discrimination, sleazy company based out of Irvine.

They keep taking my review down. It’s not a good place too live. Like I said before, it’s pretty to look at but not to live in. Inside is old and over priced. You hear everything, no installation, old air conditioning.

After some the mixed reviews I wasn’t sure about renting here but when I read about the new management I thought I would check it out and after speaking to some of the residents around the building after hours, specifically Mrs. Mayfield that has lived in the building for just about 30 years. I found that the new company has done a great job, and adding the new staff Gabreila, Maggie & Tracy the lastest addition in the office, all have been very professional and doing a fantasic job since the new ownership. So I took the advise of renting and I’m happy I did. It’s a great location and I haven’t had any problems. Parking hasn’t been any problem for me either because you get an assigned spot. I’m a very happy resident! ;)

I’ve lived here for 4 months now and I have to say it’s been a great experience! with the new ownership and management issues have been a top priority it’s quite also the landscape is always well kept! the property is pet friendly, I’m very happy with the property

The new Management company has really improved the living experience for most if not all of the residents here. They have done an excellent job with landscaping and they have remodeled our laundry rooms. The property looks clean and it’s very pleasant to walk out and see great new residents. We couldn’t be happier with the new girls in the office. They are very professional and have excellent customer service.

Ok, so we have lived her for a short while and we are definitely forming mixed reviews about the complex as a whole. We noticed multiple things that were broken or out of order when we moved in (shower knobs which were supposed to be ordered and still aren’t here, and several outlets that just don’t work, our bedroom door that doesn’t close all the way for who knows what reason… etc).
Also, PARKING is the absolute BIGGEST issue here. Each apartment gets one parking spot, and each subsequent person that lives there that isn’t using the spot will have to park on the street (which wouldn’t be a problem except about 75% of the time I see someone else parked in my spot!!) In fact, I was issued a spot that was someone’s already when I moved in so we got off on the wrong foot. What actually humored me the most was the fact that prospective tenants get the idea that the complex is gated for safety, when in fact it’s only gated to keep people from parking there because the walk-​in gates on each side are always open and most mornings we will find a few homeless personnel that take advantage of that and sleep near the dumpster or in the pool area (although we’ve never had any issues with them so we never bothered to say anything). It just gets very annoying when I come home after a long day at work or in the middle of the night after going out and someone else is in my spot forcing ME, the actual tenant, to have to park on the street. It upsets me so much that it makes me want to just park in some other person’s spot!!!
All in all we are giving the complex a 3 star rating because among the many problems we have had, none are significant enough to warrant a worse rating, but then again… we haven’t lived here long, so we shall see.

recently the property has changed management, the new management group is Investment concepts inc. this could not have been a worse transission. since they are now in charge of the property since around the middle of february, we are already on about our manager number 3 or 4. Each manager gets VERY progressively worse. So if you are looking for a streeful environment to come hom eto the sage is for you. If you want serenity, I would advise looking elsewhere. As soon as my lease is up I am looking to move and that cant come soon enough. The only saving grace of the property is the maintenance staff, Juan and Luis, they are awesome and very reliable, friendly and professional, which are words in any stretch of the imagination can you use for the office staff, or the management comp, who just plainly DOESNT return phone calls. Popularity: I was previously a good place to live but, since I moved they increased rent by a lot and now it’s in a mess.
Reason of Visit: Moved here for two years and relocated to the Marquee Apartments.
Cellular Reception: Yes.
Free Wifi: No.
Outdoor Space: 3 pools and jacuzzis, a fitness center, gated community, onsite maintenance, designated parking, remote controlled automobile entry, some views and tenants social events, when they aren’t cancelled.
Cleanliness: Typically clean however, some neighbors could careless. It’s shameful.
Lighting: The entire property has very dim lighting.
Presentation: Apartment showing was great but, the actually apartment you move into is nothing like the model.

Staffs knowledgement of business and or amenities: New hires couldn’t last ling enough to straighten out the place. It was like new managers ever six months.
Overall Service: The manager was wonderful until he spent pitty cash on a huge pool party for tenants and allowed them to pay rent in payments. He quit and managed elsewhere but was fired and came back to the same property after it was taken over by yet another company.
Staffs response on compliments: I did not give one.
Staffs response about complaints: Went unnoticed.
Recommendations:
Two ** stars or less dont consider.
Three *** stars be cautious.
Four **** stars or more highly recommended.
Quick Notes: The Marquee Apartments is a participant of the Equal Housing Opportunity Act. Which basically means that they will approve anyone yes, I said anyone.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Management is negligent and disorganized. Faulty accounting and there’s a new person every time you go into the office, so no one ever knows what’s going on. Run.

It is a pleasant community and great place to call home.
Trinity Property Consultants manage The Sage (professionally).
The latest additions to the staff are cordial and respectful to the residents.
Requests for unit repairs and maintenance are usually completed the same day.
It is comforting that Western Regional Security patrols the lighted parking area and the entire community regularly.
It is a pet friendly community.
There is a wonderful mix of all ages and nationalities that reside at The Sage.

Ghetto living at it’s best. We have lived here a year unfortunately and are actively looking to get out ASAP. The management keeps letting the most trashy ghetto of society to move in here and TRUST me you don’t want to live here. It just keeps getting worse

January 2014
1. No hot water in apts/​laundromats.
2. Management retaliates when you complain.
3. Misleading advertising and disappointment.
4. Rat and rodent infestations.
5. Careless neighbors and guests.
6. Car, motorcycle, music and party disturbances.
Between 1 – 10 with 10 being a must. I give the Sage Courtyard Apartments a one star, because of the six reasons above.

Do your research & don’t be fooled. I looked at units in this complex only to find out it was a bigger nightmare than I though. And I’m not alone.
When you go to the leasing office you’ll see two things: balloons & transients/​residents wearing gang clothing. While waiting to see an apartment & get pricing, I got to see two residents come in to complain about a policy abuse. The apartment complex is run by a company called Trinity Property Consultants. Trinity is currently under investigation by Riverside County & the city of Palm Springs. The Fair Housing Dept of Riverside has two large binders of complaints about Trinity and that’s just Sage alone.
Do your research online & you’ll find tons of complaints about Sage & Trinity. If you visit the Palm Springs Police Dept. you’ll find out that they get over 50 calls a month on the average to Sage. I’m not talking about just unsupervised noisy kids & loitering, you’ll see assaults, car thefts, drug dealing, & burglaries. Go to the Palm Springs City Hall & have them run a public records request & see for yourself. The funny part is the city & county both know the management by name because of the amounts of complaints & issues they’ve had to deal with.

Back when this was run by Desert Shadows Property Management I never had a problem. The owners then sold the complex and was bought by someone who uses or is Trinity Property Consultants. The management team is horrible. They are rude, and have no interest whatsoever in you or your well being and only care about you getting your rent in on time. Laundry facility is always dirty. They are currently in the process of chasing out all previous tenants so that they can get new ones in that will have to pay more rent :)
