Always an enjoyable treat and blast from the past. If you can’t find it ask them about it and they will order it up for you if they can locate it.

I love the novice of this store! It was so exciting to see New York Seltzer flavored Black Cherry was one of my favorite drinks. They had Abba Zabba, Look and Big Cherry. The young female at the register was a delight and fun.

They’ve got it all… well, almost! If you grew up in the 80s or before and can get out of there without buying at least one item, I’d be very surprised! I’ve gone to their stores a few times over the years and there’s no doubt that they have the biggest collection of vintage sodas and hard-to-find sodas and I am so glad they now have Original New York Seltzer for sale there. The staff at their stores must take a course in hospitality because they are sooooo nice. The one thing they did not have, that I wanted, was Beeman’s clove-flavored gum. The cashier said they hadn’t had it in a while but she knew what it was. I hope they get it again soon. They also used to have Tidal Wave and Chewels and Freshen-Up gum and I hope they’re able to get them in stock again.

What a fun shop!!! So much stuff from when I was a kid(and it was a penny each!). Loved the service. Young blond woman helped us and was so sweet. I think her name was Katina. She was a big help and had great suggestions. Going back soon for my granddaughter’s birthday party.

Very cool place. They have lots of different flavored sodas and candy that you can’t find just anywhere. There is so much to see and enjoy. I definitely would recommend visiting if you are in the Palm Springs area. The staff is very fun, friendly, and helpful. Kelsey helped me find what I was looking for and was very nice.

Crossed the street from the famous great shakes and came into here to look and this place is filled with old school sodas and tons of candy as well. Picked up an old school grape soda(my favorite) and it was really good! One of the candy that has been out of production for quite a while, haven’t seen it in over 15 years and they had it here! Pretty fun place to look and try!

Upon walking into the store there was a familiar feeling and then I realized they were on tv, Tanked and Undercover Boss. There was an impressive variety of sodas, drinks and candy. They even had a gluten free list which is really helpful. There were several brands of candy bars I hadn’t even heard of. The only bummer was buying some seltzer that I hadn’t realized had a sweetener I couldn’t have and literally minutes later I was told I had to use store credit no refunds and it was a bit of hassle to get through but the lady was nice. My cousins came later in the day to see the store and enjoyed the fun atmosphere.

This place is my all time favorite candy location. There are quite a few along the strip in Downtown Palm Springs but this is the place to go. From current candy cravings to old school favorites, unique sodas and awesome vintage items for sale you just can’t leave this place dissatisfied!

Where do I start? Before you even walk in the store there is this big G. I Joe standing at the front door which looks pretty crazy. This is a nice size store with tons of candy, sodas and more candy. The employee Kelsey well I think that was her name was very helpful and even engaged in some small talk about how great the city of Temecula is. I love crazy sodas but even though I don’t eat candy that much I still enjoyed seeing all the old school candies and all the sodas like chocolate covered strawberries.

Love coming in here when I get a chance! Love all the different candy selections, soda flavors, and all the other quirky trinkets and knick knacks. Super fun little place! Kelsey helped me out last time when I was looking for a gift to get my husband(sweets lover). Super nice and helpful girl!

I have to admit that i have yet to visit this place but I met the chain’s owner and this location’s manager at a social event and they were so friendly and knowledgeable of the biz, competition, and products that I can tell this is a quality and needed addition to THESPRINGS. I can hardly wait to visit and blow my diet and the diet of those I gift. I always go into these candy stores and am so disappointed with the lack of knowledge, and lack of real licorice that I wonder how they can make it. but I guess anyone can buy a franchise. during the summer months it is near impossible to buy chocolate. so I will have to find other things to splurge upon.

Love! I had seen Rocket Fizz on Undercover Boss and it looked like a great candy store. We finally went to the store in PS and it was awesome! They had tons of candy, soda, etc. The guy working was very knowledgeable about the different candy. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Quite the selection of hard to find candies and a wide selection of nostalgic and harder to find sodas! The staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful.

Rocket Fizz is the perfect place to get my candy fix — also helps that Leonard that works there is a nice piece of eye candy as well.

Just like Balboa Candy down the street, Rocket Fizz also has a good-sized selection of salt water taffy. The big difference between these two candy shops just a block or so apart is their respective themes. Balboa Candy definitely goes for the retro/vintage candy theme. Rocket Fizz has more of the kitschy/goofy thing going on. Rocket Fizz has a lot of novelty candy as well as vintage concert posters and silly stamped metal signs. On top of the candy selection, Rocket Fizz has a ridiculous soda/root beer selection. For that alone, Rocket Fizz is worth the visit for me. Far bigger selection than what’d you find at a BevMo, or something else along those lines. The only thing that’d make RF better is if they could somehow sneak a soda fountain in there too.

Pretty cool place to get taffy and all kinds of soda pop! They even have bacon flavors… LOL The soda is about 2 dollars each but if you get a pack it’s cheaper! We got a dozen for about 20 bucks! It’s also a really cold place to roam around and see all their vintage items!

Such a fun store lots of different flavored sodas. My brother and I weren’t to adventurous but it’s nice to know there are options. James Deans cardboard figure kept sending out farting sounds. Elvis was polite though.

This place is awesome! My sister and I were hanging around downtown after a day of hiking and ran into this store. What caught my attention was all the decorations and candy! We walked in and were greeted by this awesome blonde worker. I can’t recall his name, but he was very funny and made us laugh a lot. His personality reflected a lot of the items they sell in the store. My sister and I definitely got a kick out of the sodas with funny names. For example they have a soda called Martian poop, kitty piddle(cat pee pee), stalinade, etc. If you have children they have a variety if candies that your kids will enjoy! This store is just full of fun! Before we were about to buy our items this kid was buying cigarette candies and the worker asked for his ID. I laughed so hard, the kids mother even laughed really bad. then afterwards he took a mustard jar(the ones from the restaurants) and squeezed it towards him and a yellow liquid came out(was it real? I don’t know that’s for you to find out yourself). The kid was laughing and this definitely made our day. Definitely recommend this store!
