The wait was too long for a breakfast. I dont care how good the place is. A little bit pricey also

My favorite brunch spot in Palm Springs. Make sure to sign in and get on the list as soon as you get there. Well worth any wait. My most recent visit, I had the eggs Benedict, and the bacon flight. I ate every last bite. All by myself, and I regret NOTHING! in fact, let me get another round! I also had a Bloody Mary, it was amazing. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic and I can’t wait to go back.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday. The wait was about an hour, it was impressive. But we had a few drinks next door while we waited. I had the breakfast nachos, which I have never had before. They were really good, I really liked the chorizo that was on them. I ordered a bloody mary and it was pretty good as well. It’s a special recipe for Cheeky’s and all in all it’s really good. They were a little heavy on the green beans they put in it but they definitely seemed to be fresh from the garden. It could have used a slice of bacon. Also had their bacon flight. the bacon was really good as well. I liked the Jalapeño the best. I recommend getting the bacon flight it’s worth the $ 5.

I come to Palm Springs every other month to escape the craziness of Hollywood. I was recommended Cheekys by a good friend and it has always been amazing. Well worth the 2 hour wait on a weekend(they don’t take reservations). I brought a friend there for breakfast this morning(2 hour wait) and the food was huge disappointment. Hash browns were clearly frozen, thawed and over cooked to the point they reminded me stale leather in texture. Not one once of moisture in them. The tater tots were also obviously frozen but the had the opposite problem. Kind of mushy. No crisp texture on the outside and the ranch dressing they served them with tasted cheap. I will say the cauliflower hash was good but that’s the only good thing I can say. Not worth the wait anymore.

I can’t believe it took me so long to write a review for Cheeky. So I’ve never been to Palm Springs and I decided to go for one night and stay in the downtown area. I looked at a bunch of hotels and restaurants and came across the Alcazar and Cheeky. So the pictures on the Unilocal page did look very good so I decided to eat there for breakfast. I got my go to breakfast which is the French toast and it was wonderful. It was so good I wanted to order another one but I was too full. They also had a flight of bacon which was very delicious. I came kind of early so I didn’t have to wait and I just sat inside. The side patio was an excellent spot to eat but it was pretty crowded. When and not if I come back I will definitely eat here again.

Cheeky’s is a very popular place for breakfast. Expect a long wait. We waited 45 minutes for a first available table on a Friday. Seating is inside and outside. The number of seats is relatively small witch contributes to the wait. However, the wait time was worth it for the great food. Also the service was prompt once we were seated. I recommended the waffles with applewood bacon and the Huevos Rancheros. Th waffle was fluffy and the bacon crisp and tasty. The Huevos Rancheros had a crisp slice a bacon buried with the pile up of beans, eggs and the tortilla.

My hubby and I were excited to try this place because of the good reviews and long lines, unfortunately it wasn’t worth the wait. The sign in process was unorganized they skipped us, the man claimed he called our name but we were standing there the whole time. The food looked better than it tasted, our food all came out cold and very bland. The food was over priced for the quality

Have been wanting to try this place out for a while and we finally got a chance to try it out on a recent trip to Palm Springs. I actually wanted to give this place 4 stars but decided to go with 5 instead. There were a few minor issues with the service such as the food was cold when it was served, the server forgot a couple of things we ordered, but the food was so good that this place won me over. We ordered : Cauliflower melt sandwich Roasted yam sandwich with sweet potato fries Grass fed beef burger with pesto fries Duck confit with hash A couple of cheddar scones A pressed green juice Lemonade They do change their menu on a weekly basis, so you may actually not get the same thing again. Everything that we ordered was so fresh and delicious. The best thing about this place is that the food is very light. They probably have the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The ranch was amazing, but they do charge you for it. A great place for brunch and I would love to come back when I’m in the area.

I was so excited to try this brunch spot because I’m a brunch queen. The wait was around an hour, which I anticipated. For brunch, we ordered the Benedict, chicken sandwich and chilaquiles. Our food wasn’t hot when it came out, which was disappointing. Everything tasted bland which no flavors at all. A positive was that our server was really nice, but other than that, I don’t see what everyone’s raving about.

Beautiful location and one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Palm Springs. Coffee is good here but they are famous for their delicious bloody mary. One of my favorite items is there bacon flight with 5 different types of flavored bacon. The wait on the weekends can be very long so come either and be prepared to sit outside for a bit before getting a table. Staff members here are super friendly and service is great.

Cheeky’s is allllll the tasty. Only thing better than brunch is really, really good brunch! They change the menu weekly, and, most impressively, they do the simple things really well. Their custard-style scrambled eggs are just scrambled eggs, and they’re ridiculously delicious. Cooked to absolute perfection. The bacon flight, with one strip each of five different flavors, is really fun. The regular bacon is pretty delicious, too, as is the house-made sausage. Also love another menu staple – the buttermilk pancake with fresh corn(and go ahead and add the blueberries for a buck more). LOVE their sparkling lemonade. It’s the perfect non-alcoholic brunch beverage. Bubbly, lemony, slightly sweet, super sippable. There will be a wait, but Cheeky’s is worth it! Don’t miss brunch here when you’re in Palm Springs.

I cannot spend any amount of time in Palm Springs without coming to Cheeky’s for breakfast. This past weekend I was lucky enough to bring 3 of my favorite people on the planet with me for their first times. As usual, Cheeky’s did not disappoint. Between the four of us, two are vegetarian. Cheeky’s breakfast quesadilla(bacon on the side) and the salmon omelette(hold the salmon and add avo) were perfect choices for them. My fellow carnivore and I shared the bacon flight — because if you go to a restaurant that actually serves a bacon flight, you need to order that. The brown sugar coffee bacon was our favorite. I had the oxtail and nopales stew — which was a light breakfast, perfect portion, amazing broth and full of flavor. Cheeky’s serves locally farmed eggs, produce and as much as possible from surrounding purveyors. Their coffee is made to fly rockets, their bloody mary’s are served in boots and their fresh squeezed greyhounds are enough to make a grown man cry. Sadly, it was a Monday and I went with coffee. Lines are inevitable, even on Mondays. Just put your name on the list and don’t be annoying. You will enjoy your breakfast at Cheeky’s.

Found this place while looking for a brunch spot in Palm springs… We were in Palm Springs for the new years day and had a wonderful time while we were there… we wanted to go to a brunch place before he hit the road back to San Diego. I saw that this place had really good reviews and very good food options… so we decided to give it a try… We went here around 11am and saw that there was a loong line and lot of people waiting… so we went and enquired how long the wait was for 2 and they told is 45mins… given the reviews and the fact that the food options looked tempting. even more so as we saw people eating :).we decided to stay… After 40 – 45 mins. we got our table and were seated on the patio. our waitress was very courteous… we ordered our food… my wife got a frittata and I got a yam sandwich… and the pesto fries. The sandwich was delicious with roasted yam and couple other veggies served between crunchy bread… the pesto fries are some thing you haven’t tried anywhere else… my wife enjoyed her frittata… over all this place was absolutely worth the wait… and oh… the patio seating is very romantic with the warm sun hitting you on a cold January day… absolutely worth it!!! :)

Maybe this is a happenin’ place in Palm Springs relative to the other places around, but relative to brunch places as a whole? Doesn’t even stand a chance. My bf and I were quoted 30mins and ended up waiting an hour. If you’re looking forward to a particular dish you see on Unilocal, make sure you view the menu the actual day of since it changes. I was looking forward to the smoked salmon benedict, only to find they didn’t offer it that day :( No worries, I had the Blondie’s Eggs Benedict which had bacon, sauteed arugula, on top of a cheddar scone instead of your regular english muffin, and a side of hash browns. Nothing was very memorable. Scone was dry, hash browns and bacon not very crispy. My bf ordered the bagel w/smoked white fish plate and it was.underwhelming. White fish bits were dry and extremely salty, bagel very dense. Pesto fries — ordered them because it was highly recommended, but they were simply fries with a very subtle pesto flavor… for $ 6, OUCH. You’d think it was drizzled with truffle and flecks of gold, but nope… Fresh squeezed orange juice — also $ 6 for a thin, small glass. Tart, tasted not too different from the stuff you get in cartons. Brunch for 2 came out to ~$ 50 with tip. Pretty steep for brunch or any meal for that matter. Service was friendly, kinda lacking since it was busy, but food was mediocre at best.

This place is POPULAR so expect to wait, we waited an hour arriving at 10:15 on Sunday. The best news is that right next door is a coffee stand with gourmet choices, some pastry choices and lots of seats(even some fire pits). I got a flat white that was excellent. They will come looking for you and call your name for your table in the overflow outdoor restaurant. No need to hover at the front door by the host/hostess. The food was good all around but not life changing as the many 5 star reviews imply. The bacon flight is kind of a gimmick in my opinion but I’m not a hater, I LOVE bacon so I ordered it. The only two that had obvious flavor as described were the applewood and the jalapeño. The bacon was crispy and hot. We also tried a cheese scone which was good. The brunch entrees we selected(yes we did brunch appetizers lol) –The scrambled egg tart with arugula and prosciutto. The tart was really more toast and it seemed like a pretty healthy-ish brunch dish that was also tasty. –Hash with poached egg — the flavors on this were excellent but the hash was not warm all the way through. The hash was made of sweet potato, purple potato and onion. The eggs were perfectly poached. You have to go here for sure if in town but be prepared for a wait depending upon day and time. I’ll definitely go back.

Finally gave this place a try after passing by so many times and being deterred by the line outside. We went early on A sunday and didn’t have to wait to be seated. Server very sweet and helpful. Had the bacon flight. OMG, the jalapeño bacon, though! Also tried the potato pancakes and blueberry pancakes. Totally worth the wait, if you don’t early or late enough to avoid the lines.

I was staying at Alcazar next door(which is a beautiful hotel, by the way… check out the review), and thought it’d be nice to walk over to Cheeky’s for breakfast. Honestly, the words«bacon flight» caught my attention like honey would attract Pooh. The wait wasn’t too long and we got a nice table outside. The patio is super cute, and the service was wonderful. My bacon flight contained strips of heaven named: BeelerApple Cinnamon Earl Grey Thai Sweet Chili Nodines Applewood Jalapeño They were all FANTASTICO. I feel like I have a poor man’s palette because every time I took a bite of bacon, I moaned«MMMMBACON» and they tasted all the same to me. I got the Custard Cheesy Scrambled Eggs, and it was seriously one of the best egg dishes I ever had. Creamy and flavorful, I felt like I was eating meat. That’s how good the texture of this dish was. Comparing ANYTHINGTOMEATISTHEGREATESTCOMPLIMENTOFALL. Anyway, if you’re in Palm Springs, please check this place out!

On my second visit to Cheeky’s, I tried some items from their core breakfast menu and am much more into it! That crispy buttermilk waffle with salted butter? Love! It’s a thin waffle, with a lot of vanilla, and a really great combination of salty and sweet maple. I really like that it’s $ 5, so it’s a great thing to eat as an appetizer or an add-on to a lighter breakfast item. We also had the bacon flight and our favorite was the more«regular» bacon and the jalapeño one, which had great spicy flavor without being actually spicy. The custardy scrambled eggs with maple sage sausage and deb’s cheddar scone was just aiight. I didn’t like the loose, grainy texture of the eggs, but the sausage was good. The biscuit and gravy with two eggs and bacon was solid too. In truth, I think that waffle carried the day!

September Monday 1330pm I tried to order to-go an hour before I would get there and was denied. I called back 10 minutes before I was due to arrive and got my order in. Option 2 is what you want to press. My friend Anne who gets very excited about food recommended this place. She was raving about the bacon flight, and I’ll give her that. The bacon flight was good — I can’t imagine bacon tasting bad. I just wish they had given me a placard of the flavors cause I had no idea what I was sampling. I’m pretty sure there was a jalapeño one, but the others just tasted like sweet bacon. One of the things that irk me in life are egg benedicts I don’t enjoy and my Blondie egg benedict was pretty bland. Another review raved about the hollandaise sauce but I found it to be more watery than flavorful. I thought for a moment I might just have dead tastebuds, but my tastebuds thought the bacons were salty enough. Cheesy hash browns come with the benny, and although some may like the flattened-like-a-cookie hash brown I wasn’t much of a fan. + Parking on the street is free; I may have gotten lucky with my spot by the park. — Two quite grimy restrooms available. The sink is this huge slab of horizontal ceramic that just holds all the residues on top. The tissue papers to handle the door are a nice touch. The service seems to be efficient; the waiters and waitresses are nice in a curt, efficient way, which was fine by me because my order was ready when I arrived and I was rung up within a few minutes of approaching the counter. $ 20 for a super filling but ultimately unfulfilling meal that I went 10 minutes out of my 6 hour drive for. The pesto fries may entice me to come back, but I probably wouldn’t come back of my own volition.

Holy hell this is by far one of the best breakfasts I have EVER had. I crave it to this day, and I haven’t gone in months… Drooling just thinking about it. — Breakfast served all day — Summer hours: Thurs — Mon//8am-2pm — Juice options: $ 6-$ 8 — Crafted Cocktails: $ 9-$ 11 — Breakfast options: $ 8-$ 14 — Sides — Up to $ 6 WHATWEGOT: — Bacon Bar: $ 1/slice or «The Bacon Flight» for $ 5. Options: Nodines applewood, fig jam, Jalapeño, Beeler apple cinnamon, salt & vinegar. HOLYCRAP this was amazing. If I ordered only this, I could have left happy. I can’t handle anything jalapeño-esque so I traded that one for another Nodines applewood. — Fruit Plate($ 8): Comes with fig, pluot(plum + apricot hybrid) and dragon fruit. — Blondie’s Egg Benedict($ 14): Bacon and sauteed arugula on a cheddar scone + hash browns(only thing that I didn’t love during this day’s meal was the hash browns. They were average. — Fluffy scramble($ 11): comes with squash blossoms, basil, and Drakes chevre — Chilaquiles($ 10): Chorizo, tomatillo, queso fresco, cilantro, and onion on a bed of chips — Complimentary Cinnamon Roll! The first few bites were delicious, but unfortunately we were focusing on our actual meals and let it get cold. Didn’t end up finishing it :( Overall, amazing food and wonderful service! While you’re waiting for your table, stop by Birba next door and grab some coffee. Whatever you purchase there will translate over to your breakfast bill if you give them your credit card, so you’re only making one transaction. Can’t wait to come back and have that bacon flight I’ve been craving!
