The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because I have to give a star. I gave the bouncer my ID and he was a skeptical asshole. I’m 23 and he questioned my ID. No one here is friendly.

Great time here on a Thursday night. Great soundtrack, decent amount of people without being too crowded seemed like everyone was having a great time, and karaōke was a blast

Walked in the door to 12 people at the bar… Took 15min yes 15min for one of the two people behind the bar to ask me what I wanted to drink… Will not be coming back

I miss the old location– cleaner and better crowd. That being said, the pizza is delicious. Drinks are weak and expensive if you don’t go during specials. Super crowded on the patio on the weekends. The patio is dark and dingy. If you’re barely of drinking age, this may be a pretty cool place to go. I guess I’m just not that impressed with it in my «old age.»

If I could give them negative 1000 stars I would! This is the dirtiest, most ghetto, disgusting place on the face of this planet. My fiancé was there trying to listen to the juke box and literally everyone in the place was against us. Every time we put money in the juke box someone would walk up and out pay us to have their music played over ours? It was obvious they were all friends and didn’t like us. One chick was soooooo nasty to my fiancé when she was at the juke box. He was just trying to make a friendly suggestion to her while we was waiting behind her and she shot venom at him. Then about halfway through the night this guy starts talking crap to my fiancé who was just standing at the juke box minding his own business. The guy went on and on and on about how we shouldn’t fu k with him and that he knows everyone and we should watch out etc etc. well I walked up to them asking what was wrong and the guy pushed me away saying I wasn’t in the story? So as any self respecting woman would do, I pushed him back… hard. Stupid ashole. Then the bartender comes FLYING over screaming that I pushed him and he didn’t do anything. I was so shocked. She kicked us out as he hid behind this woman bartender. Who was rude to us from the get go by the way. She poured the weakest drinks ever and was a snotty bitch to the both of us. This bar is corrupt. It was truly a disgusting experience full of ghetto jerks who want to start fights with people for no reason then back each other up when they were in the wrong! No thanks. They should shut this place down.

Showed up on a Friday night at around midnight with some friends after a wedding. It was empty which was a disappointment but we made the best of it with some decent pizza and Iron Maiden karaōke. Hopefully on my next visit there will be live music and a bigger crowd.

Food is good and awesomely priced. Entertainment is hard 2 the core and in your face. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Dive bar. Tweaks and drunks. Kinda dirty. Didn’t eat here, but saw some killer punk bands. Good setup for bands, small and loud.

This bar is everything! Outdoor patio is rad and it even has drink service! Inside there’s a stage for bands and a pool table, Foosball and air hockey. If you wanna have a good time, The Hood is the spot.

Words cannot describe how amazing your bar is. If my scale was 1 – 10 with 10 being the highest, I literally would have guessed a zero when driving past your bar. Fortunately my friend Billy recommended the bar to me and I showed up. First of all, the decorum is straight out of downtown LA/Chicago/NY you pick. Your bartenders are straight up ONPOINT! I’ve never met a bartender that I hated/wanted to marry more the Rachel. Whoa, whoa, I say that in jest knowing her«status.» Rachel’s personality is the cohesive unit that keeps this bar alive. Bottom line: I’ve never met a bar that I liked as much as your bar. No B.S. Really and truly. It’s a privilege and an honor to be a patron at your bar, and I wish you many years of success. Sincerely, –Doug

Spent a few hours here with 17 other female friends. The bartender was a sweet sweet guy and very kind to our crazy turnt up selves. We had a GREAT time and the food was GREAT the cook guy in the back was also very kind to us and flexible with our demands and requests. Def reccomend this place. Happy hour prices are killer and delsh! Thanks guys for a great time.

Wow! A great place getting even better! I love the back patio! I love the energy the new owner is bringing to the place. The Hood is a bright spot of fun an energy in the heart of Palm Desert!

The usual shitty attitude $ 11 goose and cran in a small maybe 8oz plastic flimsy cup. This place sucks!

The entertainment is amazing! Live bands that really rock the room. There are pool tables, a fuss table and I think air hockey? Very spacious but limited seating. Two bars(one when you enter and one outside). The vibe and environment was welcoming and felt safe. Limited parking around the bar though. Such a great spot to just hang out, grab a drink and listen to some upcoming artists. We would definitely go back!

The food was good, and the place has really cleaned up quite a bit. Service was a bit slow, leaving one person to tend at a time. I was served in a timely manner, but I speak clearly and loudly. The quieter passive customers were being easily overlooked when they wanted to order a drink(unlike other joints that have thoroughly attentive bartenders). This place is for your younger crowds, the bartenders are also younger. Overall I applaud The Hood for cleaning up the joint, the new owners are doing great and flipping the place around. I must visit soon to update my review.

THEPIZZAISPERFECTION. I’ve been to The Hood multiple times over the past two years and kept hearing about the pizza and two weeks ago finally tried it, and WOW. You definitely need to try a slice. Anyways… place draws a younger crowd. Great band venue. They also hosted a really cool blacklight art show that I attended last year. Wednesday nights they have beer pong competitions. It’s kept very organized and fun. It gets busy and ordering drinks tests patience, but otherwise 5 stars.

Nice place to go see a concert. Good time, great service. Food was good for bar food. Crowd was nice friendly people. Only bad is that the inside has a strong urine smell.

Stopped in this past Saturday to get my monthly fix of a slice of cheese pizza and a cold beer. Ask for extra hot slice and glass with ice for my beer PBR all 4 the special lunch price of 5 bucks. Service was awesome, best slice in town being from Joisey and new Yawk this joint serves the best slice of pizza from Palm Springs to Mecca. Sure it’s a dive bar especially at night but 4 lunch give the joint ago

Pizza is pretty good and the drinks are fair. It’s a pretty ghetto bar. They have a couple pool tables. Live music. The back outside are is disgusting. Don’t even think to use the restroom while you’re there. It’s just a typical bar. It’s more for the younger crowd 20’s — 30’s. The name is pretty explanatory. «The Hood».
