Every time I come here I never have a problem to get what I need to get accomplished! Getting a free library is way too easy here and you get to choose your own color too! The internet access is free, but you do have a time limit like any other library. Only difference is that you don’t have to wait to be called, you just sit at an open computer! The staff here is really friendly and helpful. They’re also knowledgeable too! The left side of the building upon entry, is strictly for the College of the Desert students and the right side is for the public. Printing will cost you per page about a quarter… I think haha

It’s a good little library. There’s lots of open space indoors and out. You can borrow from other libraries within the system, so even if the branch doesn’t have what suits your tastes, you can still access the books, CDs, DVDs, etc. from other branches. Getting a card is easy; just show your CAID or other proof of residency. You even get to choose the color of your library card! There are lots of used books on sale to benefit the friends of the library organization. You can also use computers for word processing or surfing the web. It’s free with your card, and you can print for a small fee. Note: the building currently shares space with the College of the Desert library. I thought I was browsing a different section of the public library, but I’d wandered into the college’s part of the building. Had to put a book back on the shelf and find my way back to the public side. Tip: stay to the right.
