Oh the joys of trying to find a new primary care doctor from an outdated provider list from Aetna… but after numerous calls finally led me to the wonderful Dr. Patricia James.
She is extremely personable, gently inquisitive, and has a very comfortable style (her office and exam rooms are filled with homey and comfy chairs). She is also funny and whip-​smart (has privilages at Eisenhower and Loma Linda). Her assistant Maria is a pro with a great sense of humor.
The trend for many doctors is to go towards premium or «boutique» service where you pay a yearly fee for elevated service. Dr James offers wonderful care without the premium charge.
