The staff is warm and family friendly stylist Nancy is terrific. I just had color and a Brazilian done and LOVE it! She and the staff always have. Cookies and coffee or tea. Would recommend over some of the El Paseo salons. Much better price point. It’s always a great vibe and wonderful atmosphere.

My girls and I come down to the desert from Ontario just to get our hair colored and cut and styled by Monique… She is amazing. I love the way she takes her time with you and she is seriously gifted in coloring. I bring my girls with me and we take a road trip out here to el salon. Obviously make an appt. and we get out hair done at least once a month. I recommend this salon. Complementary Coffee, waters, cookies, and jewelry sold her

Yolanda is the BEST!!! She’s been doing my hair for over 20 years and I will never go to anyone else. She knows exactly what to do with my long curly hair and the only one I trust to cut it off when I decide to go with a very short pixie cut. She is an expert in color and highlights and travels to hair shows to stay current. El Salon is great — conveniently located and has very friendly staff.

I love Yolanda Taylor! She’s the only person in this planet I trust with my hair. I have curly hair, and love to get highlights and try different colors. I live in LA and have never found someone like her. So, once a month I make my way to El Salon. It’s totally worth it and I’ve never left dissatisfied. El Salon also has easy parking and the staff is always friendly.

I did not have a good experience here. I came in for a simple blowout. I have shoulder length hair and it normally takes any other salon i go to 10 – 30 mins tops to do it. I was here for 45 minutes and the stylist didn’t seem to know what she was doing– instead of using the brush and blow dryer to flip the ends, she got out a curling iron. My hair ended up looking really stiff and dry and I was not happy at all.

I found El Salon via Unilocal — and love them! It’s a stylish salon with a fun attitude. I was so pleased with how Elsa did my cut and color that I took my 10 year-​old daughter back to get her hair cut and styled.

Happy Fun Stylists, Great Surroundings and Gorgeous results are what come out of Elsalon everytime. Elsa has been doing my hair for well over 15 years and she continues to amaze me year after year. Always keeping cuts and colors fresh and sassy. Special event coming up? They produce some of the most sexy styles to be found in all of the Coachella Valley.

Elsa is The Expert when it comes to cutting hair. She knows exactly what will work with your hair and will cut it so when you are at home and style it yourself, it will still come out fantastic. The atmosphere is fun and they play good music, not too loudly either, and the staff seems to get along well and they don’t charge too much for just a cut.

El Salon is a fashionable, newer salon just off Hwy 111. On a recent visit to the desert area I went in to salon for a wax and was pleased at how the owner was knowledgeable about the uniqueness of my eyebrow shape. She did a great job and I experienced a great level of customer service. I walked away with a dolled up face and a trendy new set of earrings.

this is a beautiful new salon in the desert area. the staff is super friendly & so is the owner elsa. elsa is great at cutting hair & knows the latest styles. lydia is fantastic at hair styles & up-do’s. john is the best at shampooing hair. he has magic fingers & will almost put you to sleep at the shampoo bowl. if you’re looking for a new salon to try, this is the place!
