The Restaurant is very«old world» and could use a litlle updating. Its a little stuffy but I guess thats what they are going for. The food is good but for the amount you get its way overpriced. We ordered the short ribs and cobia which both came out perfect but were more appetizer portions than a main course. Hoping for a good dessert we were very disappointed with the choices. Their dessert menu is very odd with Corn cake, Nutella cake, and other strange chioces. Overall for the price it was disappointing.

What a disappointing dining experience for such a highly acclaimed restaurant. I stayed at the Four Seasons with my best girlfriend over the weekend in celebration of me continuously getting older. We ate at The Restaurant for dinner while we were there. Between the two of us we shared the ravioli appetizer, the arugula salad, the grilled mahi, the beef tenderloin and pavlova dessert. My friend got a glass a wine and I got one of their signature cocktails. The bread that is served in the beginning with truffle butter is amazing. Also with that comes crackers and a smoked fish dip. Very yummy. The ravioli was severely disappointing. $ 22 for two small pieces of ravioli topped with a small piece of lobster. The menu claimed it was made with marscapone, but it was goat cheese — the only cheese my friend simply cannot eat. We would have never ordered such an expensive appetizer if it stated goat cheese on the menu. When we asked the waiter what kind of cheese it is supposed to be made with, he said«oh, it varies. usually ricotto.» If that is really the case(which I don’t believe), it should be stated on the menu that way. Either way, it was just mediocre. The lobster was overcooked, as well. Arugula salad was okay. $ 17 and very small. Nothing spectacular about it. The mahi was a bit dry and didn’t taste the freshest. The rice it came on was undercooked and crunchy. The best part of the meal was the beef tenderloin. Very tender, the mushrooms and glaze on it were also so delicious. We ordered pavlova for dessert. It was good, but I have had better. Service was okay. It took a very long time to get my drink, but my friend’s wine came right away. Also, they served us the wrong dishes when they brought our main entrees out — so they sent it back and about 10 minutes later came out with the right ones. I don’t mind spending money for great food and service. That is what I expected here and I feel it was not even close to being delivered.
